Amazing analysis of Dimitrov's footwork. Having these footwork concepts in mind while playing is really helping my own game.

You are an amazing teacher!!! How nicely you have broken down all the key aspects of 1 shot into those very very important steps which makes a good shot vs perfect shot! Thank you again for your guidance

“Rotating your hips is more important than getting your body weight to go forward” 💯 It’s kinda counterintuitive but a spot on observation. Strictly speaking, there is no such thing as pure linear movement in biomechanics, only a choreography of arcs and circles that create linear movement.

    Oh dear.
I just came back from season start.
I never knew I was THAT slow, I was late on every ball that was not coming to me nicely and easily.
The pros make it look so easy, but in fact it is hard work and very exhausting if you are not on the very top of your physical abilities.
Great video nontheless, although Not everybody will be able to adapt these methods.

yes it is hard to split step for every single ball. It is physical taxing. My fitness is crap as well.

My leftie brain went into meltdown trying to switch this stuff around. 🙃 I guess I need to watch a southpaw single-hander like Shapo to see how this works.

Just screen record on your phone part that you need to flip, get the free phone app InShot that allows for editing and flipping the video, and then watch everything lefty. You got this!
