I WAS WORKING AT THIS HOTEL RENOVATING THE OUTSIDE. 1 DAY WE SHOW UP AND THEY HAVE A BUNCH OF STATE TROOPER VEHICLES PARKED OUT THERE AND THE PARKING LOT WAS FENCED IN. WE WERE NEVER TOLD TO STOP WORKING AND THE WHOLE TIME I DIDNT SEE ANYBODY COME IN OR OUT OF THE BUILDING. THERE WAS JUST 1 FEDERAL AGENT STAYING THERE.

Mr Willie, thank you so much for you channel. I appreciate all that you do. So good to hear DL talk about what happened to him during the big C. I worked in the medical community for 40 years. I worked with and was exposed to all kinds of deadly diseases Saw many die and many survived with medicine and vaccines. I was required as an employee to take many vaccines. I did and never had a major problem with any. I had all the latest vaccines and had no problem with any. Now, I do understand why many with major health issues, chose not to have vaccines. So happy to see DL doing well after his choices.

One amazing thing to me is that Willie D brought up Birdland West. A jazz club that was owned by Al Williams in Long Beach, CA. I'll date myself a bit, but I was in high school when I worked there on the weekends in 1988. On occasion, I was able to work Tuesday for comedy night where DL was the host. Many memories of Chris Tucker and TK Kirkland tearing it down there. Respect Willie D for bringing that memory back.
DL having compassion and grace for Sexy Red and Sukianna and not Kanye is crazy to me. It’s ok to cape for our black women when they are being victimized, but not when their actions, lyrics/words etc is harming our young girls. DL saying he couldn’t relate to their lyrics was a cop out.

While I agree with y'all it was unprofessional, what would you do if someone publicly claimed it was your fault your daughter was graped? Nobody innocent in all this mess. DL still promoting the very thing he claims to be against "coonery" and Monique still acting like her fight was about all Black women while violating a Black teenage girl and then glossing over it in her interview. These weren't Cosby accusations 30 years later, these were reported assaults with grape kits we're talking about. Do have any idea how evil you have to be to say that about a child- when you yourself as a child were graped?? I have always loved listening to DL HUGHLEY. He is a deep thinker, he doesn't just speak out the side of his neck. He stands by his word. This is why I enjoy listening to him.

He is right about supreme justice and Congress members. We need not only term limits but age limits. It just gets to the point where these people are so separated from the real world that their wisdom isn't even valuable anymore. They live lives are not the same as us because they're being catered to and protected. So how can they even understand the people?
I always respected DL for being transparent. I wish he and Monique could find a way to fix it. My only gripe. DL is a stand-up act and always gives us something to think about! I'm a healthcare worker, and he's right. Millions of people died of covid. I work with doctors, and they too spoke on why people are so happy with a lie instead of the truth. People have a choice. The ones who died didn't. I had to decide to work because my profession is working with the sick or not working to keep my family healthy. Coworkers were sick, many quit, and never returned. I don't think people understand it, and shameful politics and people who have no experience in healthcare interfered with it. The entertainment industry is in a sad state. I want music, concerts, and entertainment. I don't need to meet these artists. I pay my money, i expect a show. I stream music, purchase, I want no skips, i go to a comedy show and i want to laugh. @@tiffanydcoates2904, that's not true. Mo started the beef with DL and in my opinion, the problem in this ordeal lies with the shady-azzed promoter. The night of the show, Mo went out onstage and talked about DL and she carried it over on the internet. Why is it that SHE and DADDY can tell their side, all while insinuating that "D-L" stands for "down low" and using his incident with his daughter to call him out, but he is not allowed to rebuttal? Mo didn't set anything straight. Well, in a way, she did. I listened to Mo's and her husband's side of the story when this first happened. According to them, the promoter called Mo and told her that he was doing a show and had already secured DL as the headliner, and that he wanted to add her to the show. Mo said she thanked him for thinking of her, but told him that she doesn't open for anyone; that she is the headliner. A few days or so later, the promoter called her back and told her that he just HAD to get her on the show, no matter what it took. So, the promoter sent her the contract. Mo sent it back to the promoter with things scratched out and some things handwritten. The promoter asked her why she'd done that and she told him that the contract didn't real correctly (showing her as the headliner). It's important to note that before the promoter called Mo, he asked DL if he would mind working with Mo'Nique. DL told him that he didn't have a problem with Mo'Nique and that he was willing to give it a shot. The night of the show, Mo said that DL arrived to the venue late in an attempt to force her to go on first. When DL finally arrived, the promoter went to Mo and asked her to go out. She refused because she said she was the headliner. Then, he went to DL and told him that Mo wanted to headline and DL refused and rhetorically asked, "Who does she think she is? Dave Chappelle?!! Mo said he asked that question because he refused to open for a woman. I feel DL asked that question because Dave Chappelle is the only one (male or female) who could demand top billing on the spot at the time. When the interviewer asked Mo and Daddy whose picture was bigger on the fliers, Mo and Daddy said DL's picture was bigger. That indicates that DL was the deadliner. But Mo kept saying she had a contract. At any rate, Mo decided to go out first and she talked very foul about DL during her show, which caused some people to walk out. Here are some things that I think Mo and Daddy are not getting: 1. When the promoter first approached Mo, he told her that he had secured DL as the headliner. 2. The promoter told Mo that he wanted her on the show, no matter what. 3. The promoter sent her a contract that read as if she was the opening act. 4. The fliers indicated that DL was the headliner. All of that adds up to the promoter playing dirty. I don't think the promoter ever told DL that Mo wanted to headline. I think his dirty azz did whatever he had to do to get Mo added to the show and he figured things would work themselves out on the night of the show. When Mo said DL arrived to the venue late, she said that because she ASSUMED that the promoter had already discussed the "lineup change" with DL, when in fact, HE DID NOT. So, DL wasn't trying to forcer her to go out He simple arrived to the venue at the time he had always planned to arrive since he was the headliner. I have to challenge DL, as well. He said, "Mo'Nique knew what it was. It's in her contract." However, I think he also failed to realize that the promoter allowed Mo to "rewrite" the contract and let her believe she would headline. IT'S THE PROMOTER'S FAULT and I wish they would both realize that and stop beefing with each other!
I noticed he said his granddaughter calls him “HIM.” It’s that what Bernie Mac said about his sister’s baby called him. Remember the joke on Kings of Comedy- Bernie Mac said the baby told his wife “Him down stairs!” Bernie Mac response was “Who TF is HIM” as if he doesn’t have a name. While I agree with y'all it was unprofessional, what would you do if someone publicly claimed it was your fault your daughter was graped? Nobody innocent in all this mess. DL still promoting the very thing he claims to be against "coonery" and Monique still acting like her fight was about all Black women while violating a Black teenage girl and then glossing over it in her interview. These weren't Cosby accusations 30 years later, these were reported assaults with grape kits we're talking about. Do have any idea how evil you have to be to say that about a child- when you yourself as a child were graped?? If it's one thing I've learned from these two interviews it's that DL still answers to someone and Monique won an Oscar for depicting her real life mom.

I always respected DL for being transparent. I wish he and Monique could find a way to fix it. My only gripe. DL is a stand-up act and always gives us something to think about! I'm a healthcare worker, and he's right. Millions of people died of covid. I work with doctors, and they too spoke on why people are so happy with a lie instead of the truth. People have a choice. The ones who died didn't. I had to decide to work because my profession is working with the sick or not working to keep my family healthy. Coworkers were sick, many quit, and never returned. I don't think people understand it, and shameful politics and people who have no experience in healthcare interfered with it. The entertainment industry is in a sad state. I want music, concerts, and entertainment. I don't need to meet these artists. I pay my money, i expect a show. I stream music, purchase, I want no skips, i go to a comedy show and i want to laugh. All these people sitting around watching their people being mistreated, abused, and all this other mess is disgusting. I can't believe Trump is even in the constitution....Another great interview 👏👏

When DL went on a platform and share his family info about not standing for his daughter when his so call friend sexual assaulted her .. then when he cheated on his wife had a out side baby and wish it disappeared 9 month later tragically the 9 month boy died by his moms boyfriend hands 🙌 that’s when he finally told his wife .. @@tiffanydcoates2904, that's not true. Mo started the beef with DL and in my opinion, the problem in this ordeal lies with the shady-azzed promoter. The night of the show, Mo went out onstage and talked about DL and she carried it over on the internet. Why is it that SHE and DADDY can tell their side, all while insinuating that "D-L" stands for "down low" and using his incident with his daughter to call him out, but he is not allowed to rebuttal?
Mo didn't set anything straight. Well, in a way, she did. I listened to Mo's and her husband's side of the story when this first happened. According to them, the promoter called Mo and told her that he was doing a show and had already secured DL as the headliner, and that he wanted to add her to the show. Mo said she thanked him for thinking of her, but told him that she doesn't open for anyone; that she is the headliner. A few days or so later, the promoter called her back and told her that he just HAD to get her on the show, no matter what it took. So, the promoter sent her the contract. Mo sent it back to the promoter with things scratched out and some things handwritten. The promoter asked her why she'd done that and she told him that the contract didn't real correctly (showing her as the headliner).
It's important to note that before the promoter called Mo, he asked DL if he would mind working with Mo'Nique. DL told him that he didn't have a problem with Mo'Nique and that he was willing to give it a shot.
The night of the show, Mo said that DL arrived to the venue late in an attempt to force her to go on first. When DL finally arrived, the promoter went to Mo and asked her to go out. She refused because she said she was the headliner. Then, he went to DL and told him that Mo wanted to headline and DL refused and rhetorically asked, "Who does she think she is? Dave Chappelle?!! Mo said he asked that question because he refused to open for a woman. I feel DL asked that question because Dave Chappelle is the only one (male or female) who could demand top billing on the spot at the time. When the interviewer asked Mo and Daddy whose picture was bigger on the fliers, Mo and Daddy said DL's picture was bigger. That indicates that DL was the deadliner. But Mo kept saying she had a contract. At any rate, Mo decided to go out first and she talked very foul about DL during her show, which caused some people to walk out.
Here are some things that I think Mo and Daddy are not getting:
1. When the promoter first approached Mo, he told her that he had secured DL as the headliner.
2. The promoter told Mo that he wanted her on the show, no matter what.
3. The promoter sent her a contract that read as if she was the opening act.
4. The fliers indicated that DL was the headliner.
All of that adds up to the promoter playing dirty. I don't think the promoter ever told DL that Mo wanted to headline. I think his dirty azz did whatever he had to do to get Mo added to the show and he figured things would work themselves out on the night of the show. When Mo said DL arrived to the venue late, she said that because she ASSUMED that the promoter had already discussed the "lineup change" with DL, when in fact, HE DID NOT. So, DL wasn't trying to forcer her to go out He simple arrived to the venue at the time he had always planned to arrive since he was the headliner.
I have to challenge DL, as well. He said, "Mo'Nique knew what it was. It's in her contract." However, I think he also failed to realize that the promoter allowed Mo to "rewrite" the contract and let her believe she would headline.
IT'S THE PROMOTER'S FAULT and I wish they would both realize that and stop beefing with each other!
I noticed he said his granddaughter calls him “HIM.” It’s that what Bernie Mac said about his sister’s baby called him. Remember the joke on Kings of Comedy- Bernie Mac said the baby told his wife “Him down stairs!” Bernie Mac response was “Who TF is HIM” as if he doesn’t have a name.
