There was a lady on Dr Phil around 2018 who said that the things talked about in Smooth Criminal happened to her. She said she was a model and was dating Michael at the time. She said his car was downstairs at the time. Oh and her name was Annie. She thought that she should get paid from the song because the incident happened to her. I knew that wasn’t going to happen because she didn’t write the song. I often wonder what happened to her. At the time she was on Dr Phil, she was continuously moving from hotel because she said someone was after her.
Michael loved anything to do with medicine and surgery. He had one of the original dummies that you practised cpr and mouth to mouth resuscitation. The doll was called Annie. After you check for danger around the patient you check for response. What do you ask? “Annie are you ok?” And the rest is history.
