Just bought this trailer to tow behind my 05 Nissan Xterra 6 spd manual and it handles it very well. My first upgrades are going to be screws instead of nails on the deck, LED lighting to lower drain on the tow rig, plate for the jack, tongue mounted box, spare tire holder, and maybe later on a better coating on the frame.
@@thevelezfamily9946 I haul my Kubota diesel mower with this setup and it all handles it very well. My Xterra has a 3” lift on it so I had to have a drop hitch to make the trailer level. Not sure if you will require this with a stock ride height though. Did you get lucky and find a 6 speed manual or go with the auto? I definitely like the manual for towing as you can select lower gear ranges for hills and such but you should do just fine with an auto.
Don't trust the small hooks for tie-downs. i had one snap off and a Honda SilverWing flew off my trailer! Luckily there were no cars behind me at the time-could've been really bad! Bad enough that the motorcycle sustained a ton of damage.
@@HooDRidEWhiteY I'd suggest you wrap the straps around the trailer frame. The tie-down hooks are fine for smaller items, they just aren't designed for the weight of a motorcycle, especially if you have the bike strapped in with the shocks compressed-that is too much stress on those tiny hooks.
Think about what you're doing Before ya trust Any factory-built trailers hardware !!! Ya do realize Who they've got doing the design & labor at those places right⁉️ Think about what y'all are doing or gonna do Before y'all kill some innocent kids/ people behind you⁉️
I have the same trailer i bought mine new in 2012 from tractor supply. I use it a good bit and havnt had any issues. One thing I did do was upgrade the lights to LED last year and redo a couple grounds that needed redone which is common. The floor has held up very well I just add water sealer every spring and fall since it sets outside year round and in the winter i just throw a tarp over the deck. Me thinks you will be happy with it.
Thanks for the heads up. So far no issue with my light. But probably end up going with led for the brightness. What did you did with the deck nail? Mines keep backing out? I was thinking about screwing it down.
WHY did they install the wiring conduit mounted on top of the floor? It should be mounted UNDER the floor boards. Offset that jack or you're going to put a hole in your tailgate when the tail gate in lower....Good Luck.
Dont weld your d ring bolt threw your top rail, and they have very nice landing gear with wheels that fold up ,makes you able to roll your trailer around with one hand $35.
It will for sure. I bought this trailer for this purpose and any large riding mower or zero turn will fit on it. For the money ($999), you can’t beat this trailer.
On TSC's website, these 6X8 trailers are $1700 plus tax now.

I upgraded the lights to LED as well and it is a huge difference, much brighter and looks way better

I want a 5x8 to haul a UTV on as it needs to be a mesh floor to keep it light. That's a nice trailer there but it's too heavy to move around by hand.
I use a 4WLR to shuffle my 5 x 10 around my properties to gather stuff up, limbs wood rocks gravel bricks rider mower grandkids 🥴😁

is the home depot 5'x8' box trailer good for motorcycle transport? Its a 3 hour drive on highway.

You got a great price, Can't see anything A frame on the site now that's even close to a grand.
Bought it in July of 2020 when everything was cheaper. Now. The same trailer cost around $2000

Can you carry a Kawasaki vulcan classic LT with saddle bags and HD sportster together the vulcan is 97 inches long
97inches is bit long. I would recommend a longer trailer. Weight wise is not a problem. I haul 2 ducati on it before and it’s very solid.
