The legends dev team actually works magic. Dokkan you would expect to look good because it can just be 1 to 1 with the anime but legends as a 3D mobile game you’d expect to look bad but they actually make it look really good.

Intresting in previous chapters when Shallot was with Videl and Yajirobe they became friends and they seen him as enemy once again but in Gokus perspective he saw them as enemiss and then got memories back
I think it's because with Videl and Yajirobe, Shallot formed a new bond with people while with Goku he just broke through it with sheer power. Goku is on an entire different realm of power compared to Videl and Yajirobe after all.

Slight correction: Only Shallot is being viewed as the enemy. Giblet simply wasn't affected by the wish for some reason and still remembers Shallot; Zahha didn't include Giblet in the wish. Also the reason Goku said that he didn't expect Shallet to be that strong is because a) IIRC this Goku is from before the Broly movie so he hasn't canonically used fusion yet meaning he wouldn't know just how much more powerful it would make them and b) he simply underestimated the power of the fusion dance and didn't think it would multiply their power to that extent.
It would be interesting if Zahha didn't effect Giblet because at the time of the story, Giblet was basically DEAD. My personal opinion is Zahha saw no point in altering the memory of a corpse, but it would prove to be a setback as Giblet wasn't dead from his fight with Broly and didn't lose his memories.

He likely never saw it in action as he was being taught the technique and probably didn’t receive a demo of its power either. Also, I wouldn’t believe him seeing Gotenks’s fight from otherworld would be sufficient as Gotenks got whooped by buu which wasn’t a great demonstration and he wasn’t able to see it up close and personal to get a good gauge of Gotenks’s power. I could be wrong on some points, but this is from what I remember and can infer.

I’m guessing that the wish didn’t extend to shallet, but if shallet exists and he knows him then he HAS to know shallot and that’s what snapped the wish’s hold on Goku.
I think the reason why Goku ended up remembering was because he became more powerful than the wish. He himself stated that the more he powered up, the clearer his mind became, and it got to a point where he remembered shallot as a friend and the wish’s effects no longer affected him.

Has anyone else always just skipped over the "cutscenes" and/or the dialogue for the story mode? I've never had a clue as to what's going on and I just thought Shalot was an insert into the already well known DBZ story so I felt it wasn't worth reading.
