I’m so excited to meet Maestro! My personal theory since the magazine mentions she has 'daddy issues' is that all these supernatural beings/Gods coming into the Whoniverse are the offspring of The Toymaker in a way (his legions). And that they all create chaos to vie for his attention/approval.

But it's not the right fit for everything. One way that it's limited is that you can only film so much up and down movement, which might not make it ideal for more dynamic scenes.
With regards to Space Babies, the creature from that episode - The Bogeyman - could be just that: a man made of bogeys. He's certainly got that mucus-green hue to him, and babies do produce a lot of snot. Let's not forget, RTD has previously given us burping bins, farting aliens and fellating paving slabs, so it's definitely a possibility within his wheelhouse.
I don't think Ruby's origin will be revealed in the first episode. Some of her background, maybe. But it's early if her story spreads over two seasons. Who summoned the Maestro? Xander. Of course. It's always Xander. Ruby is in season 2, so we know she's not going to die. But what if that's exactly what happens? I'm not sure I'm clever enough to pull something like that off successfully. Ellie have you forgotten how much time Missy spent playing the piano when she was in the vault/prison? I wouldn’t discount the connection quite so quickly although I do tend to agree with you that the Maestro is probably not the Master.
Just because missy played the piano occasionally in the vault doesn’t mean the master has music based powers now the maestro is probably one of the toymaker’s minions he said was coming

Flood = water based natural disaster / god of music = song = they're working together. What happens when the River overflows? It FLOODS Mrs. Flood + Maestro = River Song dun dun dunnnn
Still kinda hoping the Devil's Chord could have a present-day cameo from one of actual surviving Beatles. Hmmm... I'm not so sure Ruby isn't gonna die. It is a time travel show after all, and she's already been outright erased from reality once. :) And I'm still gonna hold on to the idea that Mrs Flood is an original character who might be related to a previous story 'cause I'm still hoping something in the new era is gonna connect to Battlefield.
There maybe another clue in that Mrs Flood is named after Miss Flood from May to December. Vera Flood the secretary actually turned out to be Elvira Storm a best selling mystery writer. She was played by Frances White, who actually appeared in 3 episodes of Classic Who in 1965 in The Myth Makers story as the Prophetess Cassandra So then the prophesied on coming storm?
What other recurring character has been abandoned as a baby with no known history? The Master! Maybe... Ruby is the Master and Mrs. Flood is her companion. Hey, you never know..
I just remembered something from watching Wild Blue Yonder again. 14 tells fake Donna about where he thinks the TARDIS may go when the HADS turns on, and he mentions an outcropping by the sea where it might sit for a long time. Just how we see it in the season one trailers! Sitting on an outcropping by the sea for what seems to have been a long time!
I love the way Ellie uses The Lazarus experiment as an example of how visual effects were not as good. Some of us were here for the less than convincing giant rat in The Talons of Weng Chiang. We've come a long way since then 😂
The volume stuff is also supposed to add really good lighting and reflections and stuff, where greenscreen doesn’t. And you’re also supposed to be able to give it the depth as well because you can blur the background in real time.
The name "Maestro" is most likely borrowed from Italian. Although, at least in Spanish, it isn't exactly the same as master. In fact The Master is called "El Amo" in Spanish. Also, it is a male noun in both languages, the femenine version is "maestra."
Yes, the English language did borrow 'maestro' from Italian, but in English it specifically means an accomplished musician. ('Maestra is not often used in English.) A lot of other English musical terminology come from Italian. Probably Italian terms were the majority, before the jazz age brought the USA to the forefront of muscial innovation.
@@tulliusexmisc2191 I know the word lost its gender in English, still people who speak other languages are going to notice it and that may not be the intention.
Something you just can't properly get with a green screen is ambient lighting. The best you can do is approximate it either in camera through a bunch of lights or in post through extremely tedious effects that usually look bad. With the Volume you get ambient lighting for free, to a much higher quality than you can get on a green screen 99% of the time
First episode, I know it won’t happen but what I want is for one of the babies to ask “Are you my mummy?” Also, of course Mrs. Flood is an original character and of course it’s going to be a slow burn. Over the course of 2 seasons it will be revealed that Mrs. Flood’s story is the Doctor Who version of All You Zombies. Mrs. Flood is an elderly Ruby Sunday. The woman that dropped the Space Baby Ruby off at the orphanage is a middle aged Ruby Sunday. Basically, every mysterious seemingly unnoteworthy woman in Ruby’s life is Ruby.
17:30 that technology is called a volumetric studio, I'm actually designing one as part of my uni- course in media technology. And a common misconception is that the Mandalorian was the first to use this technology, but the film Gravity (in 2013) used a prototype version of a volumetric studio, which was much smaller (like the size of a shower cubical). Due to the cost of the volumetric screens being significantly more expensive to manufacture, the processing power and workflow for Realtime FX wasn't mature yet. It took a while for the tech to properly mature. When the Mandalorian was in development, Disney was lucking for a way to have movie grade effects that could be made on both a reasonable budget but and also increase the speed of producing shows. By 2018, unreal engine had the capability of creating convincing environments, and this solved the real time effects work flow issue. Form 2013 to 2018 the cost of volumetric screens had both matured and also became affordable (for Disney), this allowed for the tech to be revisited and was found to be just what Disney needed.
I am old enough to have watched the very first episode with William Hartnell..Hands down 💯 percent The Volume is the way forwards it's in it's infancy right now .As to streaming on iPlayer...I always buy box sets and binge the whole series😂
I will wager that Russell T Davies saw that Simon Rattle programme on the Devil's Triad back in the day. I think that it emerges in Sibelius' 4th symplony, the one in which the composer gives us "cold clear water". Unless I am confusing that with Spear of Destiny's Up All Night.
The thing with The Volume is the issue isn't the use of that technology itself but moreso how it is used, Star Wars uses it quite poorly whereas shows like Star Trek utilize the technology really well! Lighting is EVERYTHING! And from what we've seen Doctor Who is a case of the volume being used really well. My only worry is that I don't want them to overuse it, whenever they can film on location they should do just that but using it sparingly like in this case, that's absolutely fine!
The Beetles thing : Maybe... Musical nerds are just as spe-shul about things as toxic Sci-fi/Fantasy nerds. I should know, I'm both! I know it would never happen, but a cameo of present day Paul and Ringo would be spectacular.
There's also lots of Beatles tribute bands and impersonators who not only look like the fab four but sound like them and can actually play instruments. Rain is one good example. Some of them might have been a better choice.

I believe John Lennon didn't get the round glasses until he filmed "How I Won the War" in 1967, after the mop-top hair days. That's the only thing that's bothering me about that photo.
Also, he needed them before he wore them. The thing that attracted him to Yoko Ono was that she ripped up at him for not wearing them when he needed them. At least, that’s the story I heard.
I keep thinking they only put the glasses in the photo so people would recognize which one is meant to be John, but in the real episode he won't wear them
@@kateorgera5907 There's a precendent with Winston Churchill wearing his hat indoors in "Victory of the Daleks" so the kids would know it was Churchill.
There are some shows on Disney+ that would be on certain days every week, but would also only say like, “at 9pm” which I think is a way to measure metrics on if people watch it at the exact time it is available or if they watch at another time.
'The Beatles'? Judging by that cover it's ("Hey hey, we're...") 'The Monkees'! Was there a sale on at 'Joanna Lumley Purdey Wigs R Us' Cardiff branch that week?
If you think about it, the darkness was mentioned in episode 3 of series 1! The climax of that statement didn't come until the end of series 4 so...lol But Bad Wolf was mentioned in the same episode and that mainly came to a conclusion at the end of series 1 but carried on to series 4.
Somewhat inspired by the episode title my suspicion is that the Devil’s Chord will contain some deal with the devil type storyline where the Maestro was summoned by or drawn to a musician who they will claim to make famous and/or talented.
Episode 1: 'Space Babies': Set mostly in Space with eight children in filming. . Episode 2: 'The Devil's Chord': Set in the 1960s, Afro Ncuti, American Drag Queen 'Jinkx Monsoon' is playing the villain. Doctor and Ruby recreate the Abby Road cover, meet the Beatles and the episode is described as a 'musical'. Episode 3: Futuristic warzone. Directed by Julie Ann Robinson. 'The Clerics' Return of the Clerics from Series 5 (River Song's soldier boys) as they're fighting a war. Set will have a lot of ruins. The Doctor will step on a landmine and is stuck for a good portion of the episode (speculated to accommodate Sex Education filming at the time). Rumored to be written by Moffat. . Episode 4/5?: Big slug absorbing civilians. Roger Ap Gwilliam as a politician dubbed 'The Space Savior', Kate Stewart is here with UNIT. Potentially a two-parter or just RAG in one of these episodes. . Episode 6: Written by Kate Herron and Briony Redman. Set in the Regency Era; we've seen images of Ncuti, Millie and Jonathan Groff in attire for this time period. Groff plays a Time Agent who apparently kisses The Doctor. Indira Varma as 'The Dutchess', speculated to be a Time Lord. The Dutchess has 'Birdmen' for henchmen. . Episode 7/8: Likely a two part finale. Features the return of Mel. The Doctor and Mel on a motorcycle. Set between present day and 1947 Roswell. Rumored to feature The Daleks but take this with a grain of salt. . XMAS Special: Nicola Coughlan in a major role. WW2 Setting. Extra Future Info: Ruby will have a boyfriend in Series 15/Season 2. No, the Master or the Valeyard are not part of 'The Legion' (from Alice's leaks).
I have a theory that Ruby Sunday is an earlier incarnation of River Song. They have the same initials after all. And we did not see what happened to the baby after she was taken from Amy. The next thing we know is a sick youth is maybe about to regenerate. And then we see Mels, but we never saw who she came from. So we obviously have a lot of time between A Good Man Goes to War and Let’s Kill Hitler. From River’s point of view that is.
I think everyone is missing the irony of the volumetric studio being used as one of Millie Gibbons last scenes in Corrie Nation Street was shot on a volumetric studio.
1:30 well, you got that right, because since WBY it was pretty clear that they didn't really care that much about how historical figures really look like, with the whole indian Isaac Newton
The data about the new LED technology replacing the green screen was very interesting, really! That's good content we don't get from just watching the series.
What we need is The Doctor to pull some Rose and the Cyberman shit, and find himself ONCE AGAIN, in the Fallout Universe for a 2 parter wherein Lucy and either the current Doctor or a reprisal of Matt Smith in that role, teamup against the wasteland!!! With 1 episode as a special for Fallout, the 2nd episode being a special for Doctor Who, and that would just be fucking cool. Really cool.
Hey, Ellie. Glad your voice is back to normal. Just a quick correction re the Volume’s use in Star Wars. Andor, and the Acolyte did not use the Volume. Regarding the Space Babies, I can kind of see RTD coming up with that after watching Wall-E.
7:55 nope - Andor famously didn’t use it. All the location shooting is real there. One of the reason it is better than the others, as far as I’ve read (haven’t seen them all yet)
The Master, The Master Oh what a disaster With him and the doc There's no happy ever after Cos he died Doctor cried The last time lord so you see That he Will be alone For all eternity Oh the pain And the gain Of the time Lords is so great Just you wait Till the day When he met rose tyler And lost her And Martha And Donna Amy, ROARY, and Clara It was only until Until Bill was killed And turned to a cyber That the doc became a "her" (After another adventure😉) And met what she called the fam And do I give a damn? Personally, for Star Wars, I don't want the stagecraft technology used much, in Doctor Who, I do. Stagecraft is perfect for Doctor Who's smaller budget.
Ruby is Adric. Ruby is a past Doctor. Ruby is a future Doctor. Ruby is Romana. Ruby is the Rani. Ruby is Ruby! Ruby is Alpha Centaurai! Ruby is the Doc's mother. Ruby is Victoria Winters.
I'm a bit confused can someone tell me if Doctor Who is going to be airing on the BBC, like it goes up on Iplayer at midnight, then at 6pm the same day does it air on BBC One? I have a really old tele and can't access BBC Iplayer normally and/or its a massive faff to get it to work, so I rely on stuff being aired!!
Ellie, you are definitely a shining example of a glass half full outlook on life, or at least on Dr. Who. Which is nice in the UA-cam environment, which seems to boost folks who believe Dr. Who should be made the way I want with the cast I want and any deviation form that is heresy.
Streaming is not the future, but the now. I don't think it's bad. Gone are the days when we could sit down on a schedule for something like a tv show. We need it on our schedule, which means on call when we're ready to sit down.
I didn't think anything about the way the Beatles actors looked, because they're not the real Beatles. However, now that you've said something, I can't stop thinking about it lol.
I think Ellie's point about the poor resemblance of the Beatles does not matter is fair but that however that is precisely why I don't think DWM etc... should have made the poster in the first place as that is putting an unnecessary emphasis on them. A silly marketing move because with posters and other visual media people expect to see something at least akin in likeness to the original source and on this occasion they failed miserably. Personally, I think it is most likely the story itself will not be focused on The Beatles as the central narrative. I by the way am the Walrus...coo coo ka choo! Love the word 'brave' as it usually is a kind person's way of saying 'stupid'. Was/Is RTD being brave? I also found Ellie's words of RTD '...he doesn't care, he isn't playing it safe...' (within a kinder context as I am quoting just part of her sentence’ an interesting turn of phrase. ' I have noticed that many commentators have had a rather tricky time for some years now when talking DW. Whilst they may still enjoy the show and be a fan, many must surely, deep within their hearts, have struggled to come to terms with some of the very rampant and loud decisions that have changed the tone and vibe of the show. So much so, I worry that what happens if presenters of fan channels begin to dislike the show they previously loved. What a predicament that would become. I hope that such a situation does not ever occur for as much as I often have a different opinion or view than Ellie or Sean, I still acknowledge that they are much more positive and fun in the manner they conduct these posts. Sadly, I also notice how young they are, and I feel so old. Good luck to the trio or quartet behind WhoCulture and let's all hope 2024 DW will be something special for all to enjoy. To share great joy would be so wonderful to get back. Third edit, for whoch I apologise but I forgot to say Ellie is looking so much better now after such a prolonged illness. Great to see her back on deck with all cylinders functioning at full capcity.
Hello, Ellie I have a question. In the Special 1 The Doctor asked Donna if she could see inside his mind and see the things that happened when he was the last three doctors and Donna said no, it was like looking into a furnace. Then in the Giggle Donna tells him that she got a glimpse of his mind and he was staggering. Which is it?
Even if it was a biopic, it's not a lookalike contest. I'd rather have an actor who can convincingly act like John, Paul, George, Ringo, Freddy, Elton, Bowie, Jimmi, Janis, etc etc, than a lookalike who can't. These are very strong characters and the acting is no mean feat.
The Lazarus Experiment actually has pretty good CGI for the time. I think the thing that lets it down is the character design, as it just isn't believable in the slightest.
I'm sorry, but RTD is hiding one truth behind another when he talks about the decision to stream at midnight AND keep to a physical schedule at 7pm (or whatever it is) on Saturday evening. The first truth is, one of the negotiations with Disney was that they have a set premiere time on a Friday, being 7:00 p.m. EDT, which is midnight Saturday morning for the UK. It's too much of a coincidence for these things not to be connected and I would have more respect for RTD if he had just plainly said that to ensure the future of Doctor Who as a property, money was sought from Disney and one of their stipulations was a set premiere time on a Friday night, not a Saturday morning, which would have been the case if RTD had said Doctor Who must be shown first in the UK and Disney will have to follow on. Disney bosses were not going to accept that, so RTD had to find a way to accommodate everyone, which is fair enough but he needs to be more honest with long-time fans because he's coming across as disingenuous at the moment. The second truth is that viewing patterns have changed over the last decade or so - no one is disputing that face - but RTD is using that as the smoke-and-mirrors to hide from British fans that an American corporation now has a large say in how the show is distributed, when it is shown, etc. We are not fools, RTD, so please don't treat us as such.
Rani is an anagram of rain. A lot of rain leads to a flood. Mrs Flood maybe Noah's Wife or Utnapishtim's wife from the Babylonian Gilgamesh epic. This would fit with the theophanic, mythical shift in the new New Who.
So the timeless child, The doctor becomes a fixed point by 12 and 1 convincing each other to regenerate. Causing 13 to fall to earth as the Tardis reacts. Because of this 15 also regenerates with hazy memories, becoming the timeless child, rewriting or creating a parallel timeline with Atrops to protect it. The doctor, now the timeless child with memories in the fob watch, becomes Fugitive, saved by the Tardis from her forgotten past, after dropping 13 to earth. Fugitive leaves her Tardis at Ghost Monument for 13 to find. Born Within this universe the master knew the timeless child but never met Fugitive regeneration, because the Tardis presumed 13 was ‘fugitive’ for the same reason the flux targeted 13 instead of the fugitive doctor. The doctor's parents were also born within the division universe, separated by the grand serpent, to prevent a parallel doctor to be born. Bel and vindor, give birth to a non timelord version of the doctor born in the division timeline and reunited by 13, never become timelords. After the flux and finding the original Gallifrey Fugitive returns to find Kavanista with her parallele parents and send their child to a church on earth to meet 15. 15 will be used to create a new universe with division. Ruby with the fob watch will be used to replace the doctor, but prevent the division to give Gallifrey another shot at survival. 15, taken to Ruby road to say goodbye to Ruby as a baby, By fugitive doctor before crossing back into his universe to regenerate, still with no memories. Fugitive fades out of existence in Rubies universe. 15 haven forgotten fugitive by fugitive ending the division in the other universe regenerates into Fugitive, the last face 15 sees. Meanwhile Ruby as the new paralele protects the new gallifrey, teaching at the new academy, preventing the time war.
I don't think Maestro is the Master personally. The character just seems too powerful and could well be either an original villain. I'm still thinking that Mrs Flood is the Master and Susan Twist is the Meddling Monk.
Ms. Flood could be an older version of the blonde woman in Dot and Bubble because, the young blonde woman’s dress/hair doesn’t feel like a current look, and, and, that young blond woman has the same facial shape as the hooded woman who drops the baby at the church. My theory on this upcoming season.

Flood = water based natural disaster / god of music = song = they're working together. What happens when the River overflows? It FLOODS Mrs. Flood + Maestro = River Song dun dun dunnnn
That theory is so ridiculous that I love it!
Still kinda hoping the Devil's Chord could have a present-day cameo from one of actual surviving Beatles.
Hmmm... I'm not so sure Ruby isn't gonna die. It is a time travel show after all, and she's already been outright erased from reality once. :)
And I'm still gonna hold on to the idea that Mrs Flood is an original character who might be related to a previous story 'cause I'm still hoping something in the new era is gonna connect to Battlefield.
There maybe another clue in that Mrs Flood is named after Miss Flood from May to December.
Vera Flood the secretary actually turned out to be Elvira Storm a best selling mystery writer.
She was played by Frances White, who actually appeared in 3 episodes of Classic Who in 1965 in The Myth Makers story as the Prophetess Cassandra
So then the prophesied on coming storm?
If it's one of Cassandra's prophecies, we should ignore it.
It’s fun that Varada Sethu, who will be an upcoming companion, was in the only Star Wars live action series that didn’t use the volume (Andor)
Nicely explained 👌
Yes, the English language did borrow 'maestro' from Italian, but in English it specifically means an accomplished musician. ('Maestra is not often used in English.)
A lot of other English musical terminology come from Italian. Probably Italian terms were the majority, before the jazz age brought the USA to the forefront of muscial innovation.
@@tulliusexmisc2191 I know the word lost its gender in English, still people who speak other languages are going to notice it and that may not be the intention.
Ma certo che maestro è un nome italiano...
Something you just can't properly get with a green screen is ambient lighting. The best you can do is approximate it either in camera through a bunch of lights or in post through extremely tedious effects that usually look bad.
With the Volume you get ambient lighting for free, to a much higher quality than you can get on a green screen 99% of the time
First episode, I know it won’t happen but what I want is for one of the babies to ask “Are you my mummy?”
Also, of course Mrs.
There is precedence for a character to die and return later in the season. Look at Clara or Rory.
Actually, Star Trek: Discovery’s sets have utilized the LED sets since it began production in 2016… predating the Mandalorian by three years.
The Beetles thing : Maybe... Musical nerds are just as spe-shul about things as toxic Sci-fi/Fantasy nerds. I should know, I'm both!
I know it would never happen, but a cameo of present day Paul and Ringo would be spectacular.
OOOOOOH YES!!!!
There's also lots of Beatles tribute bands and impersonators who not only look like the fab four but sound like them and can actually play instruments. Rain is one good example. Some of them might have been a better choice.
My theory is that "The Legend of Ruby Sunday" doesn't refer to the character but rather a day. Like "Black Friday".
Piano is a TARDIS and its another Master. Done
Sorry now we understand the posting or first viewing, effects ( sorry affects ) you too,
We understand the time zones and differences, pure love too 💓
Please please please never stop ♥️
@0:49 At first glance I thought that was Howard from The Big Bang Theory
Same!
That would have been funny 🤣🤣🤣
I thought so too!
6:05 "The Master has no connection to music"
Voodoo Child, Hey Missy You're so Fine, I Can't Decide, Ra-Ra Rasputin. The songs and dance The Master does. Missy playing the Piano. Missy in The Doctor Who Comic convincing a previous version of The Master that 12 playing an Electric Guitar was really them...
The Master is SO connected to music it isn't funny :3 The song and dance is kind of their thing :P
Spoilers:
In SFX magazine millie Gibson and Ncuti Gatwa talk about space Babies and how “the teddy is terrifying, no wonder the babies are scared,” (or something along those lines)
Its rewarding to guess correctly, exciting to be surprised, and a little disappointing when what you guessed feels like a better story than what happened, even if surprising. Having an active and creative imagination has both its benefits and its drawbacks.
I believe John Lennon didn't get the round glasses until he filmed "How I Won the War" in 1967, after the mop-top hair days. That's the only thing that's bothering me about that photo.
Yep, very true. They were part of his Private Gripweed character in that film and he liked them so much, he kept them after filming ended.
They look like the Monkees not the Beatles!
The Beatles’ hair really did look like that at one stage!
The Monkees copied the Beatles.
If you think about it, the darkness was mentioned in episode 3 of series 1! The climax of that statement didn't come until the end of series 4 so...lol But Bad Wolf was mentioned in the same episode and that mainly came to a conclusion at the end of series 1 but carried on to series 4.
I managed to make the doctor and ruby stand next to the real Beatles
I'm so glad you are feeling better. I love all your videos.
I have a theory that Ruby Sunday is an earlier incarnation of
River Song.
Monsoons reveal looked me like the Toymakers "door" when he enterd our world, but in collapsed way. Maybe she /he is from the Toymakers army.. etc :)
“Gold star to me cuz i was right “. 😂
I can’t wait for this season
I think everyone is missing the irony of the volumetric studio being used as one of Millie Gibbons last scenes in Corrie Nation Street was shot on a volumetric studio.
Peter Capaldi didn't look a damn thing like George Harrison.
And here's a wild plot twist...What if they're actually The Rutles?
1:30 well, you got that right, because since WBY it was pretty clear that they didn't really care that much about how historical figures really look like, with the whole indian Isaac Newton
small correction, volume hasn’t been used on every live action star wars show since mando s1, it is not used at all in andor :)
When you were talking about mysterious characters and fan theories, I am guessing the ''Throwing in a TWIST'' line was an unintentional pun ? :) x
The data about the new LED technology replacing the green screen was very interesting, really! That's good content we don't get from just watching the series.
I was right about The Maestro's name :D looking forward to these interesting and fun episodes!
"Who was right? I was right." This is why I love Ellie so much.
The Master, The Master
Oh what a disaster
With him and the doc
There's no happy ever after
Cos he died
Doctor cried
The last time lord so you see
That he
Will be alone
For all eternity
Oh the pain
And the gain
Of the time Lords is so great
Just you wait
Till the day
When he met rose tyler
And lost her
And Martha
And Donna
Amy, ROARY, and Clara
It was only until
Until Bill
was killed
And turned to a cyber
That the doc became a "her"
(After another adventure😉)
And met what she called the fam
And do I give a damn?
I don't know
But I know
That she dropped them back at home
And was again on her own
To transform into Dave 10
Until when
Mr Who split in two
Just so me and you
Could see in our favourite show
That face that didn't want to go 😢
RTD is bringing in Mythology a bit like Xena all to do with Mavity and Toymaker
That talking baby freaks me out a bit, because it simultaneously looks like my brother as a child and how he looks now. Maybe he's aged really well. I just look like a deflating balloon.
nothing like the beatles and john not were theses glasses until 1966
Personally, for Star Wars, I don't want the stagecraft technology used much, in Doctor Who, I do. Stagecraft is perfect for Doctor Who's smaller budget.
The person who said Discount Beatles is crazy😂😂
Ruby is Adric. Ruby is a past Doctor. Ruby is a future Doctor. Ruby is Romana. Ruby is the Rani. Ruby is Ruby! Ruby is Alpha Centaurai! Ruby is the Doc's mother. Ruby is Victoria Winters.
I can't wait to see Ellie's new impression show. River Song and space baby what else does Ellie have up her sleeve?
I'm a bit confused can someone tell me if Doctor Who is going to be airing on the BBC, like it goes up on Iplayer at midnight, then at 6pm the same day does it air on BBC One? I have a really old tele and can't access BBC Iplayer normally and/or its a massive faff to get it to work, so I rely on stuff being aired!!
The fact of streaming being the future doesn’t mean you can’t drop the stream as a broadcast starts. Don’t have to drop the stream hours earlier.
Sorry I meant Special 2 and 3.
The best use of the background tech is in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds
at last a good new Star Trek show (apart from the singing episode but they are boldly going....)
@@joso7228 The musical episode was a lot of fun!
13:15 well, according to Star Trek TNG, the season 1 finale „The Neutral Zone“, we only have to wait until 2040 for that.
Rani is an anagram of rain. A lot of rain leads to a flood.
Mrs Flood maybe Noah's Wife or Utnapishtim's wife from the Babylonian Gilgamesh epic. This would fit with the theophanic, mythical shift in the new New Who.
So the timeless child,
The doctor becomes a fixed point by 12 and 1 convincing each other to regenerate.
Causing 13 to fall to earth as the Tardis reacts.
Finds an older Tardis at the ghost monument from the future.
Because 13 found this version of the Tardis she is presumed to be the timeless child version of the doctor.
Leading 13 - 15 into a strange series of events starting with the flux.
The grand serpent in unit- Rassilon after the doctor banished him off Gallifrey.
The grand serpent banished off earth allows the serpent to make a deal with a Trickster, causing 14 and Donna to reunite, wild blue yonder and the toymaker, leading to Bi Generation,
14 and donna merge, becoming the Hybrid, rassilon described to 12.
May have been said before, no idea. But how's this for a theory? Ruby is Mrs Flood.
Did I also see one of the babies sat in the Starship Enterprise (TOS) captain's chair?
I don't think Maestro is the Master personally. The character just seems too powerful and could well be either an original villain. I'm still thinking that Mrs Flood is the Master and Susan Twist is the Meddling Monk.
Nice Blue Suit...=)
As long as the Fab Four look exactly like Paul Rudd, Justin Long, Jack Black and Jason Schwartzman, there shouldn't be a problem.
Ms. Flood could be an older version of the blonde woman in Dot and Bubble because, the young blonde woman’s dress/hair doesn’t feel like a current look, and, and, that young blond woman has the same facial shape as the hooded woman who drops the baby at the church. My theory on this upcoming season.
i hope they dont overuse The Volume, but from the look of the 60th anniversary specials they already have
i think above all… i just need river back
