I got drawn to pile 4, and I had to remind myself that this is a reading of my soul rather than who I've become over time. I'm currently someone who hates sudden changes that I do not anticipate or even big changes that I do anticipate. But what confuses me is that if I stay stagnant for too long for whatever reason I also get anxious and really upset. Pile 1 here. This was such an amazing reading. Because of my past experiences with all the gaslighting, authoritarian/unpredictable parents and family/people around me telling me I was too much, too dramatic or too eccentric, overtime I’ve become a watered down version of the person I used to be. I’m still working on my confidence but my social anxiety means that my voice gets more quiet when speaking. My voice is soft enough as it is so people barely hear me but when I raise my voice apparently I’m yelling 😅 so I’m working on that. I even self-censor my writing lol. I'm facing possible prison time for simply being non-violently resistive when I was drunk and grabbed by police officers and paramedics; and the cops and paramedics took things too far, stabbing me with a needle and repeatedly stun-gunning me. If convicted, I could possibly spend 4-12 years in prison. The first thing I did, after getting out of jail, was to try and find a public defender. They turned me down because I was making too much money... (laughing - because I'm on a housing voucher and at the time, COVID had nixed about 2/3 of my income from one job; and then 3/4 of it out of the other job.) So, I tried another route and was turned down. I went to reapply to the public defenders office after feeling a calling to completely walk away from my moving job. This time they accepted. They've pushed back the proceedings multiple times, like 7 or 8 by now.
I've resigned myself that there is nothing I can do at the moment but wait. But in the interim, I made a pact with myself that I would not drink alcohol for another 5 years and see how radically it would change my life. Every morning I must phone in to this automatic voice number to see if I'm supposed to be tested. If so... then I have to pay anywhere from $15 - $24, depending on where I go to get tested.
Since I knew I wouldn't be making hardly any money anymore... I immediately, within a day or two, sent an email claiming zero income and then went about getting all the proof that I needed. I've made friends, and gotten the respect from my female Pre-trial Supervisor, who keeps an eye on my alcohol testing every few weeks.
All in all... I've just taken this experience to grow in knowledge; and to live life even more fully every day. I don't believe that I WILL go to prison; or if I do it will be for a short period of time; and I believe that certain testimonies in the discovery isn't lining up; but whatever happens... it will be for the best. Yes... I would say that I am stoic, just as I was going into the Marines, just as I was when I spiraled into homelessness, just as I was when I had to face down 5 guys who had planted themselves around my car, 2 ON the car, and 3 right near it, when I stopped for directions one night in a super seedy side of San Francisco. An almost UNHOLY DRILL INSTRUCTOR COMMANDING VOICE and AUTHORITY CAME OUT OF ME; and caused those guys to drive me to the freeway exit, as I had commanded them to do. I don't know WHERE that came from; but it's the same power that had me heal from MRSA Staph Infection in 2 weeks, astounding doctors and surgeons and nurses; and the same power that saved me when I dropped like a rock through the ice into a pond; and couldn't initially get out, as my core temperature did the same. I started to panic; but then went into this meditative wise mind, reflective mode, which showed me a simple way to get out, simply allow my legs to float up, so that my weight would be horizontal along the ice, rather than pinpointed vertically. This is the same power and consciousness that when my head and nose slammed into the concrete after my arms flew back behind me while skateboarding with backpack full of books and hitting a rising crack in the sidewalk... I intuitively understood to start doing super deep, slow breaths through my nose. Nothing was fractured, just a small scrape on the bridge of my nose and one above one of my eyes. I guess my chi had armored my body; even back then.
This is just some of the things I've experienced in life. Definitely pile 1 and 3 material.

sadly ur right, I internalized that "I'm abandoning others". For the longest time I beat myself up for it which had a massive toll on me. I tried my best to make people comfortable, worry for them in their stead, felt like I had to be everyone's parent.. It is getting better though. I live a life opposite to my longing. I have been imprisoned for so long, that I forget I'm in prison. I should just suck it up and continue living that way.
