I haven’t organized my fridge since moving into our rental & today was the day I finally got to it! I had some help from Alex restocking the fridge…

As an Indian the amount of packaged food Western people consumes just baffles me all the time.
Every other meal has something or the other that is packaged.
I could never imagine my fridge without fresh greens.

Sou brasileira e meus alimentos eram todos processados, como os do vídeo, para ter praticidade no dia a dia, mas o tempo foi passando, a saúde cobrou e não tive para onde fugir. Hoje me alimento com consciência de que meu corpo é a minha casa nesse mundo, ainda como algumas guloseimas, mas hoje em dia, a maior parte da minha alimentação é fresca e saudável e também prático atividade física. Minha vida e minha saúde melhoraram muito. Geladeira limpa e organizada é bom, mas o que colocamos no nosso corpo também precisa ser limpo e organizado.

Muchas personas trabajamos a diario y no nos alcanza, que se rompa un electrodoméstico o algo importante en la casa, muchisimas veces hace que no podamos reemplazarlo,ni arreglarlo.

Are you sure you can not afford it? Perhaps if you buy less, for example if you buy soda (not necessary drinks) so just do not buy that, after a while you will afford it surely unless you are completely broke which hardly anyone ever is.

There are almost no processed foods in my refrigerator except for dairy products. I give my children snacks on weekends because I don’t want them to mistakenly thinking the packaged snacks in their classmates’ hands is a ‘good’ stuff that their mother are reluctant to buy. My children complained that many snacks have a ‘fake taste’ and stopped me from buying them. I have seen many vlogs about mothers’ kitchens, it looks like their homes have a mini supermarket. I insist on giving my family fresh food that can be seen in its original form, even though cooking seems a bit troublesome.

You can produce 1 kg of plastic trash in a year. Or you can produce 100 or 1000, if you don't care about it. It is a choice. There are many alternatives. Cotton bags, canvas bags, paper bags, compostable bags etc. More fruits and vegetables instead of sweets, packaged and fast food. Filtered water, tea, homemade soft drinks instead of canned soft drinks.
I know that not everyone is aware of these things. I am also learning about it. But parents can set an example to their kids. I think this planet could be a better place to live. It is not about who is bad or who is wrong.

Buying lots of small, individual drinks and snacks is not economical and produces more waste. If you are a family who gets through this stuff quickly you could be buying full size drinks or buying fruit and cutting it into containers instead of those packaged tubs. But, y’know, aesthetics, Insta, etc. Got to copy those influencers.

I wash my fridge every Sunday morning. Since I do it every week it’s faster and easier each time.
Same. I label all left overs with dates too on the containers. I use a sticky note and tape. Every weekend I go through the fridge and what’s not ate goes in the trash if it’s more than a few days old. I used liners to so it’s way easier to clean and it won’t scratch the glass.

@@myaccount9498my fridge is way better than that one and doesnt cost no 8k. It’s an LG and a smart fridge. Has two places it makes ice. We can have it make ice through the LG app we have. Also, have the microwave, dishwasher and stove, all smart LG. I can start the dishwasher from my phone. Turn stove on and set temperature. It’s pretty cool.
