I made a few swaps to this... replaced Slitherspear with Discovery of Magic, replaced Gorgon with Sif, and replaced Marooned Archmage with Heat Wave. Losing Fire Sale this rotation really has hurt Mage's ability to fend off early game swarms. Liberally use your weapon + Frost, Shadow, Arcane and Fire spells to stay alive. Use Discovery to find Fel, Holy, and/or Nature spells. Skyla with Coin/Nova, into Sif + as many 1 mana boosted spells as you can manage with your remaining non-8 cost coins :D I made this switch because Supernova gives you fire spells from ANY class - the first time I cast it using Warshack's minionless version of this deck, I got 4 copies of the Warrior Legendary Blackrock and Roll... again... in a MINIONLESS DECK... /sadface You need to make sure the ones you get that actually do damage will go lethal. Mana Rainbow Sif is REALLY good at lethal.
Lethal puzzle at 23:04. 3 mana reverb the Oracle, 2 mana frostbolt face for 5, minions go face for 4, 2 mana to forge bellowing flames 1 mana cast it on your snake to kill it off both shots definitely miss any remaining minions and go face for 2 more damage. 8 mana 11 damage ez lethal.😎
Was it not a misplay at 10:40 to not play your amulet and reduce all your spells cost by 1? That would’ve made all your spells cost 0 and you would’ve had lethal correct?
I need to find a deck that’s fun to play, i’ve been playing for over an hour and every single time i try to play a board-based strategy, new cards just completely invalidate everything i do with no counterplay, it’s so frustrating
Zeddy, have you seen the new handbuff hunter with Warsong Grunt? I have never seen more toxic deck and need your comment on that. You either win till turn 5 or you cant ever play minions
Mixologist just offers SO many choices with its potions... it's another Neutral that should be in most decks that have room for Swiss Army Knife solution cards. Griftah... eh... you get the damage amulet for more burst or the health amulet to try and extend... again, like Mixy, he's a troll with a lot of answers to situations... if you get the right answer. See my comment above for changes I made (I kept both of these cards, Griftah mainly for lack of any better option)
i wish they change these mana cheating cards, they are the reason hunter are top in standard 0 mana 2/5 taunts, 0 mana 5/5 like in wild you just lose on turn 3 or 4 to libram playing 0 mana 5/5 taunts, endless 3+3 buffs from libram, who would have thought mana cheating is a problem... we also got big shaman and questline dh both just stupid
That hunter deck is so gross... I'm so tired of seeing it. Luckily the average player of that deck still can't play optimally but I can't imagine facing it in top 1000 legend where there are probably more skilled players of that deck. Must get very tiring seeing the 50+ moves per turn.
I’m gonna go out a limb and say you just hit legend for the first time recently, I remember when I would compare myself to other legend streamers after hitting legend 1st time 😂😂
Get out of here with that negativity. He’s making dozens of decisions in each of these games, many very nuanced and/or complicated. Oh, and he’s not playing a meta deck and is staying very competitive against top 500 players. If you can’t say anything nice, etc
Around minute 7 I think it was better to save the reducing Amulet for AFTER the Supernova, so you get the spells reduced to 0 mana

It was the phoney version he got from his opponent griftah at 8:20 (it doesn't reduce spells) thats why

I feel like the Rogue Tourist effect is so busted it makes anything good.
The Rogue tourist stuff should of been given to a class that has a hard time taking advantage of coins like Hunter and not Mage.
