Thanks fam! I’m definitely trying to get there! 😊❤️

Yessss double drawn makes the style so much thicker looking
Missed you and contents! Welcome back!!
Thanks so much fam! I have a few more videos I’m currently editing
Why is this the best tutorial I've seen on boho braids?! So clear with the techniques. You truly are a professional and talented without the extraness.
Thank you so very much! I appreciate the feedback. Thanks for watching!
I don’t have enough fingers!
lol it definitely takes practice!! 😅
🤭🤭😆
😅😅😅
I don’t either unfortunately 😂
cause he braid with all his fingers :)
I have not been on you page in a while with hurricanes COVID inflation new babies...but its like visiting an old friend. I just subscribed because I want to see you hit that million and I want to be a part of the journey. You been sharing for a while and teaching and if I want some good advice its here. I don't wear braids extensions I just love my natural hair that is sometimes out of control and beautiful. Thank you for sharing your gift with me and over a million subscribers.
I really like how you are patient and go step by step so that those who are watching can actually get it. Thank you and I would like to see more. Joan
Excellent tutorial, great to "see" you!
It’s good to be seen fam! Thanks so much!
I like the gel on the tip of the hunan hair to help separate.
Thanks for your feedback! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
This is absolutely beautiful 😍 I learnt something from the video 🙌🏾
Happy Spring! Welcome back! 😊
Thanks fam! I hope you are well!
Mr. Linwood, I am 54 the gray edges are wild and reckless. They never stay colored. What hair color do you recommend on these ugly grays that will last 6-8 weeks and won’t be harmful or drying to my hair?
That's what I'm looking for too. I don't want to use hair dye with a lot of chemicals in it.
You did an awesome job. I might have come to Texas and get my hair braided
Thank you kindly!!
Baldheaded to long hair dont care! Lol Love my hair baka! And loved watching how you actually did it. ❤
Thanks Baka! ❤️❤️ I appreciate you modeling for me! You’re the best 🥰
Absolutely beautiful 💜 😘💐
Hey girl! 👋 Looks good. I was just wondering if my hair was long enough to braid up.
Looks amazing on you! Miss the petty and dialog we all had, back in the day. 😂
I thought that was you 🧐🤠nice to see you on the channel again!
I've had Boho Braids before BUT I love these so much more. I think you used a much better quality of human hair and you added more human than synthetic. It's fuller. I may try this next time.
Thanks so much! Yes I used more human hair than synthetic hair, that’s the key difference
Hello Linwood. You set the standard long ago. Limitless. Kudos to GlamFam and Makeup Menaree ❤
Thanks so very much! We appreciate you watching!
I’ve done these on myself before and am going to do them longer this weekend for my upcoming trip. I love how pretty these are and the human hair makes all the difference. Do not use synthetic for the curls, trust me!
It's something about A Pro Stylist styling 💋💋💋
Thanks for watching fam! 😊❤️
My friend I didn't think you were THIS skilled with braiding. Thanks for continuing to serve us.👍🏾🙏🏾💚
Thanks so much fam! I appreciate you so much! ❤️❤️❤️
@@GetGlamFam your so talented and have so much skill
Thank you!
Question Teacher..🙋🏾♀️🙋🏾♀️🙋🏾♀️
I understand the bricklayer method...
Could one alternate the side that the curly/human hair comes out?
Instead of coming out to the right side (from watchers' view), could we could go right then left? OR would that cause too much of a bulk look?🤔👀💡
PLUS....
DAMN I MISSED YOU
Hey there!! Yes, you can absolutely alternate sides, I did one side because it doesn’t make a noticeable difference when you have this much loose hair in the mix. I missed posting too! I’m working on a new posting schedule as we speak 😊
@@GetGlamFam I'm looking forward to it. I don't know why uTube won't notify me of your new videos, I have to go looking them up.
I don’t know why I always watch to the end, I don’t wear the style nor do I braid, I have no need for this information but alas back to watching my YT adopted grandson 😂😂😂

I don't wear braid or do them either, but I love watching these videos. He is a great teacher also.
Thank you both! I greatly appreciate it!

Yay! Linwood!!!🤗 So good to see you, Sir! And... Hey, Mena Gurl!! I'm gonna need y'all to get up to some trouble and make me laugh again😂
lol we stay in trouble, we just don’t film it! 😂
Love this style quick question did you add curly hair to each braid ?
The prep is everything….and the end result is fabulous! That’s for showing the attention to detail…the use of more human hair makes the style look more natural. Appreciate the education!!!!😊😊😊
Thanks so much fam! I appreciate you watching! Have a great day 😊
I didn’t even know you did box braids! Knowledge is power! 🥰 They look good! 💯🥰🙄😍
Thanks so very much! 😊🙏🏽❤️
That is gorgeous!! You're not just shade you've got serious skill and a great ability to teach

Thank you so very much! We truly appreciate you, Thanks for watching!
Im glad they look good but this is probably one of the worse techniques I’ve seen.
I couldn't find anywhere where you address hair of older womem. I am 75, 4C hair. I wore a TWA (1/2 inch) for 53 years and in August of 2023, I decided to grow my hair. It is about 6 inches long now, but I noticed that is is very fine. I suspect that it is age related. I recently started taking collagen and MSM. I do all the dietary and water stuff. I purchased the Giovanni 2chic shampoo and conditioner/mask at your suggestion and I like it very much. Can you please do videos on hair for us older women. We are out here. I put castor oil on it, but am wondering if it is too heavy for me. At this stage I don't know if it is safe to use everything the younger folks are using. I don't trust hair stylists out here (present company excepted). My mother was a hairdresser back in the day. I relaxed my hair until I was 19 and have been natural ever since...no relaxer, no extentions, no color, just me. HELP! OLDER WOMEN PLAYLIST REQUESTED. Oh, BTW, my temples are receding. Age??? Thanks for your
channel. I love it.
Thanks so much for watching and for your feedback! Have you seen my video on gray hair? I cover quite a bit in it about the hair changing textures and how the care changes accordingly.
These braids are absolutely beautiful and your model is stunning!! Great work!!!
Thank you so very much! I appreciate you watching!
ayyy! i thought this was a spoof or old video. ol and behold u are BACK! u did that! wow this is beautiful. i have done horribly doing this myself but maybe ill try again w this as a guide. thank u
Thanks so much! Nope, not a spoof at all! Lol I’m working on new content as we speak!
How many bags of curly hair did you use
So Im confused. I see YT has your picture for Pride Month but I thought you said you weren't. Is this a mistake on their end or we just didnt know. Sorry if this it too much?
It’s not too much at all, thanks for your concern! I wasn’t. After the divorce and therapy, I decided to explore my sexuality, I’m now bi. I hope this helps clear any confusion. Thanks for watching!

I needed this video 2 weeks ago. Anyway, thanks for the tutorial.
Dang friend, well I hope it helps you with future braiding sessions! Thanks for watching!
I’ve been doing my own braids and twists. I want to do these so bad but I’ve been scared it won’t turn out right. I’m going to give it a try and see what happens. Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure fam! If you decide to do it, I hope it turns out beautifully!
Hey Linwood
Hope you are well and looking good as always!👍🏾
Curious about something 🤔
When you are not teaching/ training at work, do you do your client's hair as a side hustle?
Hey fam! Thank you! When I’m not teaching, I am usually filming, editing, going to dentist and dr appts I don’t get to do throughout the year, running tons of errands, or volunteering in my community. I don’t do hair on the side because I don’t want my schedule to be that rigid during my off time. Great question!
You did that, Linwood!!! And I love that knotless braids don’t look that bulky, either. It gives the illusion that those braids could be her natural hair length🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾
Thanks so much fam! Yeah that is one of the benefits, to me, of these types of braids! Thanks for watching!
Heyyy. How's it going with and your girls
Hey fam! We are doing well! I can’t complain 😊😊
wait, is that your friend you use to take to your training classes with you
Yup, That’s Melina 😊 Thanks for watching!
I'm surprised by the many women who love getting braids. I have never liked them even when my mom did my braids as a child. But it is a profitable business for today's skilled hairdresser like you. Well done!!!😂 You make it look easy.
Thanks so much! It’s definitely a case of “practice makes perfect “ when it comes to making braids look easy. I think a lot of people like them for the convenience of it, not having to worry as much with detangling and styling, etc.
Thanks for watching!
Do you have a video for people that have thin, baby fine hair?
Not currently, but I can make some, are there specific subtopics you’re looking for?
Hey Poppa Glam, so there’s actually a much better way to knotless braid that makes the roots more secure and tighter. Basically you start adding hair from to very beginning but you add UNDERNEATH. Hold one end of the braiding hair with your left pinky or another free left finger, and add the other end UNDERNEATH on your right side, similarly to how your adding the curl, once you’ve added in the one end on your right, add in the other end with the next third of your braid on the RIGHT. It’s super super seamless, nice and tight at the root, and you can’t see any of the added hair. It’s a way better and easier method I PROMISE.
Thanks! I’m horrible with figuring out written steps on braids, but I will definitely give it a try!
My Ahhha moment...I have no patience for this😂😂 but it looks beautiful great job!
😂😂😂 I totally understand!
The end product looks super nice 👌 👍🏽 👏🏾 😍
Thanks so much! I appreciate you watching!
I always come across your videos and be wishing the I could just sit and ask you a million and one questions about my hair and my daughters hair!!!🥰🥰🥰
Thanks for watching! Have you downloaded my free haircare guide? I have quite a bit of information in it that you may find helpful! ❤️
Omg I would have been intimidated by all this work. You make it look so easy and amazing. Good job!
Wish you did hair in my city....also wish I could afford this style....😂. The algorithm led me here and now I've been sucked into your channel.
I am so glad you are working your way back I miss seeing your tips n tricks 😊..love this style, it looks amazing.
Can you do a video on how cover grey hair..since my sister when natural she is fighting trying to keep her grey hair covered. She is a bit to young n I do feel her. She doen't want all the chemicals n uses like a colored hair rinse. Welcomee Back!!! 🎉
Thanks so much! That can be tricky for people who don’t know color theory, but I’ll see if I can simplify it some to be of assistance in a video! Thanks for your request and feedback!
You are always serving glam looks! I love your work!!! Keep it up!!!!
Aww thank you so much! Thanks for watching!
Beautiful job👏🤗👍😁😀
First off.. You're looking good, nice to see you in a new video. And you slayed it with her hair, it doesnt scalp tight, i cant breath but so beautiful
Thanks so much! I appreciate you watching!
Im semi natural because I use hair dye.. Love your videos 💖 I always learn something. Thanks
Thanks so much fam! I appreciate you watching!
If well maintained, about how long should this style last and what is your definition of well maintained? Just to be clear, braid hair is synthetic and curls are human, yes?
The braiding hair is synthetic, and the loose hair is human, yes 😊 She shampoos every 4-5 days , applies leave in and foaming wrap, and sleeps with it in a loose braid and a bonnet at night.
Typically I don’t recommend wearing any form of braids for more than 2 months, sometimes earlier if the person starts showing lint at the base of their braids. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for answering!!!
My joy! Have a great day!
The Besties are back! I had no idea nail glue was an option. I have nearly waist length natural hair with raggedy ends, so I don’t add hair, but you’re making me reconsider.
If you use it, make sure you braid past your natural hair. It only goes on the added hair 😊
Beautiful braids.❤
Thanks so much! Thanks for watching!
Awww man…this is beautiful. If you need a model, I can sit still pretty good 🥴
Noted! Thanks for watching!
This video is like perfect timing because I’m planning to do some knotless boho braids this weekend. I bought 3 packs of 100% human and 1 pack of master mix hair. I was gonna use the master mix as the leave out part because it was curlier and use the human packs to braid my hair to try to avoid the dryness synthetic hair causes. Now after watching this I’m wondering if I should use the human for the leave out parts and braid my hair down with the master mix to avoid tangling?? What would you recommend?
I would leave the human out rather than the mastermix, just to prevent the tangling that comes with synthetic hair. Human hair can tangle too, but it bounces back after you brush it out.
@@GetGlamFam thank you! ❤
@NuDiva14 my joy fam! Thanks for watching!
Pls bro we need an advice on how to prep hair for braiding cause added hair is drying. Also how to take care of braided hair . TY
Honestly, deep conditioning (with moisture) and trimming ahead of time is my preference. You can also soak the braiding hair in water and apple cider vinegar to remove chemical films from the hair that cause the scalp to itch.
Misting the hair regularly with a mister bottle that has water and glycerin can be a massive help as well.
Looking for a product that will actually grow my hair.
A multivitamin (with your doctor’s approval) and scalp massage go a long way.
Woooowww… gel on the ends, comb it and BAM! You can pull it apart…😮
Oh no tricks for pulling the braiding hair ? 👀👀👀
Not in this video! Lol Thanks for watching!
You betta work it! Males can work some hair!
Thank you! I appreciate you watching!
Beautiful work. I would like to see how to care for and style this look.
You can shampoo and everything like normal, put it in a loose braid at night and throw a bonnet on. For styling, some water, leave in conditioner, and styler of your choosing does the trick!
Looks gorgeous Linwood! Is that Makeup Menaree?
Thank you! Yup, that’s her!
Great tutorial. Definitely feels like advanced braiding skills because my skills are lacking!! Happy to see you and bestie in a video, again!
Hey there! Yeah this one is a bit more advanced, having the ability to feed in hair really helps
Thanks for watching!!
That gel in the curly trick is fireee omg
I’m so glad I could help! Thanks for sharing your feedback!
Looks good. Thanks for giving us the advice
Thank you! It’s my pleasure, thank you for watching!
Could you please do a separate video on maintaining your hair when it's natural and relaxed. Including the taking down?
I will add that to my list of video topics! Thanks for your suggestion!
How much bundles would you consider I should get for braids??
It depends on how thick you want it. For this video I used less than one bundle of braiding hair, but I used 2.5 bundles of human hair.
The less human hair or curls you want to add, the more braiding hair I would recommend.
It's beautiful. @MakeupMenaree, i just noticed how much you look like Tamela Mann.
Thanks fam!
Hi Linwood, I would love to see you do a video review of Beyonce's haicare line Cecred.

Do you have any suggestions for regrowing thinning areas of hair?
Scalp massage, the use of high frequency current, and a balanced diet are my top recommendations! 😊😊
@@GetGlamFam thank you! What about topical items like castor oil?
Castor oil doesn’t have a ton of benefits by itself. If you insist on using it, I would add a few drops of rosemary oil, and a few drops of peppermint oil to the bottle so you get the additional stimulation and growth benefits.
@@GetGlamFam you’re the best! Thank you!

You can’t have knotless box braids. They are two different things. Box braid have the box at the beginning and knotless does not.
False. Her partings are boxes, and these are knotless braids, hence: knotless box braids, as opposed to standard box braids.
@@GetGlamFam that just box parts not box braids. Just like if the were triangle parts or other parts. That’s not box braids.
Can you tell me the length of the synthetic hair? Thank you so much!!
Why use glue? What if the client wanted to re-use the human hair? It looks good. As a retired braider, I use to use human hair all the time. I never used glue or tied a knotted and my braids didn't come a loose.
In the instance of a client wanting to reuse the piece at the end, I would adjust technique, but she didn’t intend to do so. Plus she shampoos every 4-5 days, so it helps make sure nothing comes unraveled. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
@GetGlamFam thanks for sharing. You were one of the first people I watched when joining UA-cam. Your work is always neat.
I love how you teach. Learning so much from you. Thank you! ❤❤❤ And my AHA was separating the human prior. Last time I had my client give it to me and never again. 😂
