    Great work! Is music connected with the dance show or did you choose it later in editing? Cheers!

      Thanks! I chose it later in post. I tried to find something that reflected the Indonesian culture a bit more though, but it was hard to find.

    I'm thinking about getting this exact camera + lens combo and am worried about both the low light and overheating, so this video + your comments help a lot. Thanks! Great shots btw!

    wonderful footage! THe Sony A6700 handles quite well in the low light - how did you find the camera handled overall throughout the filming?

      Thanks! I really like the improved stabilization, although sometimes it can fight your movement a bit. Also the camera overheated for the first time during this shoot. I was filming almost non-stop for over an hour, with some 4K60. After a break of a few minutes I was able to film again.

    I really like the video and footage that can be captured with this camera and lens combo. I am also thinking of buying this setup but my main concern is the low light performance in photography and videography.
    Can you please create a video showcasing the low light performance before and after editing?

    Nice video and nice dancers. Did they hire you to do it? And no in-body stabilisation used in this video? Im just about to buy both 6700 and the sigma - but worried about no lens stabilisation

    • @KaspervanDijk
      @KaspervanDijk  11 місяців тому +1

      Thanks. No, it was just an improv shoot. I did use IBIS, but no "active" mode, just standard. The a6700 handles non-stabilized lenses much better than previous APSC-models. That's the reason I had enough confidence to use the Sigma.

    Hoi Kasper, leuke video's! Ik heb zelf sinds kort ook een a6700 en ga op korte termijn filmpjes maken waarbij ik SLOG-3 ga proberen. Ik had eerst een ZV E-10 maar die heb ik verkocht en omdat ik nu een 10 bit camera heb kan ik SLOG-3 proberen Ik ben benieuwd hoe je je post stabilisation doet. Gebruik je Catalyst Browse hiervoor of doe je iets anders? (warp stabiliser in Adobe?). En belicht je elk donker shot apart? Je kunt ook gebruik maken van de dual native ISO (voor zover je dat al niet wist). de beste ISO waardes voor deze camera zijn ISO 800 en 2500 (zelfde sensor als de FX30). Keep up the good work! Groet, Ruud

    • @KaspervanDijk
      @KaspervanDijk  11 місяців тому

      Thanks! Meestal warp stabilizer (1-10% max) in Adobe en heel soms Catalyst Browse. Met Cine4 is de DN ISO wat lager, dus probeer ik over het algemeen niet hoger te gaan dan ISO 1600 met weinig licht. Zolang het licht niet veranderd, belicht ik elk shot hetzelfde. Veel succes!

    • @KaspervanDijk
      @KaspervanDijk  9 місяців тому

      @@KaspervanDijk I always use manual focus (because BMPCC og no AF, lol).
      But once I tried the Canon C70 on music video, and that autofocus really helped me a lot with dynamic handheld shots. Now I really want a camera with reliable autofocus and am looking out for a6700 too
      Btw, did you have any issues with overheating?

    • @KaspervanDijk
      @KaspervanDijk  9 місяців тому

      The AF is great, just figuring out what settings to use in specific situations.
      Since I changed "Auto Power OFF Temp" to "High" I have no more overheating problems. Before that it happened only once while filming 4K24/4K60 almost non-stop for about an hour @@Alexandr_Egorov_3003

      @@KaspervanDijk can you make a video talking about your experience with the a6700 thus far?
      Have you run into any over heating issues?
      Would you pick the a6700 over the fx30 or the zve1?
      What’s one thing you didn’t expect to like and didn’t like about the a6700?

      I have no more overheating issues when switching the 'Auto Power OFF temp' to 'High'.
      I would only pick the a7CII over the a6700, since it's compact, can shoot full frame and aps-c in 4k and has better stabilization. But it mainly depends on budget. Price-quality was the a6700 is hard to beat.

      @@KaspervanDijk hey thank you for getting back to me!
      I think the one thing im bummed about is the 1.5x you get on the aperture for apsc lens, would have to get a f1.4 to get a 2.8 equivalent.
      quick question
      is the ac7ii better than the a7iv and zve1?
      Those are both full frame and equal in pricing, would you choose the ac7ii over those as well?
      Out of these 3 cameras, do you think the a6700 price to performance is the best?
