Her son has medical issues but personally i don't think andrea can handle being a full time mom but won't admit it to herself and crith definitely has no interest in being a full time dad. He walks out on her regularly but if the kids were in the picture 24/7 i have a strong feeling he would permanently remove himself.
There's no excuse for her to not have them either, all the other little women (minus monie) have their kids full time.
