One reason I don't like about Twitch is that you can't watch the past streams after a certain period of time. In UA-cam and Facebook, you get to watch it because it's up to the streamer if they want to delete a past stream or not.

The insane amount of ads on twitch is the reason started to watch less and less. Popping in on twitch now I see more ads than content. All these content creators make UA-cam vids anyways so I just been full UA-cam for a while now.

The copyright holder is happy cause the song is removed and the streamer doesn't get in trouble for doing something that was allowed at the time.

UA-cam is not just a Gaming/streaming platform. It's a world of its own. Also, it has a reach all over the world. For example, In India we don't see/use twitch. There are millions of people who consume YT content daily at any given point of time. I am sure many other asian countries has same thing. Plus, Financially I don't think any other platform can give you more. So, Welcome to YT. :)
The reason why a lot of people should respect Fuslie. Look at the initiative that she pulled off. Mortgaging her community and notoriety in the space to afford new and upcoming creators at the time just to name a few QuarterJade, Masayoshi, Peter Park, SushiDragon, KristoferYee amongst others an opportunity. It's one of the most selfless things I've seen a content creator do and it's great to see someone get rewarded for it. With the UA-cam deal, she has financial security. (BoxBox deserves credit as well for this as well but I'm just here providing context if anybody thinks anything different). Now the initiative is apart of an annual event with 100 Thieves.

I am a YT frog but never was active in chat ever but twitch chat was something that was so comforting especially fusfam chat which made me love streaming culture more by being active and switch with the truffle tv extension is just game changer and kinda feels the same vibe and comfy over here Proud of you Leslie
What I learned today: Twitch is so big they no longer even have control over their own systems, and their biggest stars can get taken down in an instant and they won't do a thing. UA-cam is reasonable with people having lives and meeting hour requirements. +1 Sanity. UA-cam has a process for keeping their creators safe from DMCA, where Twitch just doesn't do anything. UA-cam should probably have people help creators move from Tiwtch over, just like Ludwig and his team helped Leslie move over. Like what about all these creators who wanna move to UA-cam and have to do that alone?

youtube is smart. they not just taking randomly 1person they taking a whole friend group at a time which leave the twitch viewer no one else to watch but to al move to youtube. the OTV and Friends group will be a big pick up for youtube.
I’m not sure if you know this streamer leslie, his name’s Purplecliffe, and he moved to UA-cam from twitch a bit less than a year ago. He recently posted a video explaining why he moved and the contents were totally outrageous. Glad to see you moved as well.
Some need to understand of not just being "capitalist" in their heart but please consider streamers' situation.. like I know some probably loving Twitch features here and there and gets frustrated when their favorite streamer switch to different platform. There's always a good reason to that. I'm so happy for Leslie to move to YT tbh, idc much about Twitch because to me, personally, Twitch cons outweigh the pros. There’s still issues with livestreams for the viewers. Buffering, restarting streams at the start, pausing over 5 minutes then starting, then have to move the bar to the current area which sometimes restarts the stream.
One thing I hate about YT is I can’t minimize the app and get a small screen to watch them while on another app browsing like I could with twitch. Yes I have an iPhone.
I've heard UA-cam is starting to roll out picture in picture for iOS however even as an android user, UA-cams PIP doesn't seem to be as good as Twitch's

since twitch always does something weird to my network, this is really good news because youtube Livestream rarely have problems
There’s still issues with livestreams for the viewers. Buffering, restarting streams at the start, pausing over 5 minutes then starting, then have to move the bar to the current area which sometimes restarts the stream.

I've heard UA-cam is starting to roll out picture in picture for iOS however even as an android user, UA-cams PIP doesn't seem to be as good as Twitch's

You prob need to enable it in your settings, UA-cam can do the minimized screen on your phone.
