- It took another late night (or should I say early morning), but after 3 days we got the 1JZ VVTI S13 on the road and it RIPS! So proud of you guys, and I love seeing Adam and Trevor making videos together, as someone who watches both of you guys separately this is awesome.
Having done an engine swap myself (Carbied Subaru EA82 to EFI Subaru EJ22) I know how much work is in this and you guys really smashed it out. Not many people in the comments section really knows how much work you guys just did and I wanna say congratulations.

I mean when your husband doesn't come to bed for 4-5 nights in a row you'd be kinda annoyed too, spending all day all night on it, she would've felt pretty lonely and been kinda fed up by the end of it. ebk305 could be why it's overheating. sometimes mixing antifreeze causes it to turn to gel (depending on they types used) and that will definitely make it overheat.
The red or ornage is the only kind that cant be mixed.
andrew geary do you know what the blue stuff is made from? Have you seen it before? Oreillys has an orange one that is universal and can be mixed with anything.
auSR20DETin duh BMW and mini use blue coolant. It's supposedly a "special mix" but we always thought it helps us technicians find leaks faster for warranty work. It shows up as a florescent color under UV light
No coolant should be mixed. If you have too little ask the garage that last serviced your car/cooling system what type they used and get the same.
Or empty the entire system and fill it up with that type and bleed it again.
Also one should always check the instructions on what type the car needs. Some systems have O-ring's which need a addative in the cooling that mabye only blue types have.
But if you really wanna find out, mix ahead.
So i would quite honestly suggest to Adam that he goes and check what type the 240SX and the 1JZ takes and find one which complies with both.

Get your hands on an old E36 with an M50B25 nonvanos. Then turbocharge it ^^ .... Tuning is never cheap though.

I don't know if thats sarcasm because we did something wrong.... But we just loosened the little 8mm on the throttle body and tightened the allen so it puts a little tension on the throttle cable.

There was no S13 Kouki Silvia because they stopped being produced in 1994, there was a Kouki 240sx S13 that was produced until 1999 in Japan, otherwise known as the Type X. But as for the S13/PS13 Silvia there was no Kouki in 1997, only the S14 Kouki Silvia/S14A which was made from 95-98.
