@americandrillreport I just ordered a practice rifle for my grandson, but I'm very interested in getting him a standard rifle to practice with. When I was in JROTC drill team in the 70's, we used an M-14 with the firing pin removed. Several of our guys cut their heads open while learning how to spin their rifles.
I placed 6th in that exact same competition and the score difference between him and second place was huge, this guy is good.
not too far off, I placed 4th Army Nats and 12th All-Service. All a great competition this year
I placed 7th in the standing long jump for the fitness challenge that exact year😂
Crazy how in my time in the mid 90's the San Antonio teams destroyed everyone. Glad to see San Antonio still sits at the top 20 years later.
Except for one small exception in Mansfield and Mesquite
That was amazing! I’m currently working on my rifle skills right now and hopefully I can practice exhibition 🔥

0:17 Does anyone know how to do this move? Is there a tutorial for it?
Wrist breaker-drill dojo
It's a modified half beat to right shoulder
Beautiful
What’s the weight of that rifle? Is it a standard 10lb 1903A3?
A standard 1903 is 8.5 lbs, and yes it is.
@@americandrillreport where did he get his rifle

Anyone know the rules on halfweights at nationals?
They are allowed but judges take into account rifle weight when grading difficulty, precision, etc.
