In the dim twilight of the Revacholian sky, you stand, your senses suddenly engulfed by a melody so pure, so ethereal, it seems to suspend time itself. As the music wraps around you, a sadness begins to well up from within.
Empathy (Easy: Success): There's a profound sorrow in this beauty, a longing that reaches out and touches the very essence of your soul. It's as if the music knows the depth of human suffering and offers a fleeting respite, a gentle reminder that you are not alone in your struggles.
Visual Calculus (Medium: Success): Notice the intricate layers of sound, the precise harmony. The way the melody ascends and then delicately falls, like dandelions in the wind. It's a mathematical perfection, an equation solved with notes, not numbers.
Inland Empire (Formidable: Success): This is it, Harry. The hidden song of the world, the melody that plays in the background of your existence, rarely heard but always present. It's the music of dreams, of other worlds brushing against yours, whispering secrets in a language felt rather than heard.
Authority (Challenging: Success): Command the moment, Harry. This music, it's a gift, but also a test. Let it guide you, shape you, without losing yourself in its depths. There's a strength in yielding to its beauty, a power in the vulnerability it evokes.
Logic (Medium: Success): Such beauty doesn't emerge in a vacuum. There's an artist behind this, a mind that conceived and birthed this wonder into existence. Where are they now?
Shivers (Medium: Success): Feel that? The city itself is resonating with the music, the buildings, the streets, even the air seems alive with it. Revachol has many hidden arteries, pulsing with unseen life, and this music... it's a key, unlocking doors you never knew existed.
As the last note hangs in the air, trembling on the edge of silence, you stand transformed, the cacophony of your thoughts a testament to the power of the music. In this moment, you are both lost and found, alone yet deeply connected to the world around you.

Sounds like the soundtrack for a prequel or spinoff where you play as Ruby; industrial Ambiance to mirror Martinaise's Terminal B, with the grunginess of Ruby's theme when you encounter her Pale latitude compressor.

Здравствуйте. Мне очень понравились ваши композиции. Я понимаю, что все это субъективно. Тщательное прослушивание, лично мне навевает глубину, в глубине. Больше усваивается грустный мотив (как и положено), без пейзажа обыденности и устоявшейся мрачноватой действительности, с которой все смирились в Ревашоле, как та музыка, которая сопровождает нас в самом начале пути в отеле. Проще говоря, я мало чувствую ощущения "Твин Пикса", больше его оторванную, мистическую составляющую. Я думаю, как творческий человек вы меня поймете. Но даже так, мне всё равно нравится ваше творчество. Спасибо.

These tracks are so beautiful! I have been listening to the DE OST daily now (yes I'm obsessed) and this music captures the vibe perfectly! I especially liked "Bitterness settled in my throat." You're super talented!

The Artwork is amazing! The music is genuinely fantastic! I can actually imagine many of these songs in the game. Twilight Brings Despair reminds me of the abandoned church or the haunted business district.

I thought it was hidden tracks from the OST, but after checking, I was surprised to see an original creation from a fan.

I discovered this album a 2-3 weeks ago. I thought it had a shit ton more views especially with the art but 4k only views back then?? that was sad because this is a masterpiece. I think it really captures the other half of DE's tone that the ost usually doesnt convey which is its complete and utter dread of Harry's memory loss and his past. While I interpret the DE ost to be more whimsical and optimistic in hard times this album puts the listener MORE into Harry's shoes. Feeling that dread of the plum bubble gum, feeling why he has no home, feeling that regret he has with the clipboard of mistakes. I apologize as I would touch more about his past but I havent finished the game, so I don't know. But I wanted to thank you Aila for creating one of my favorite albums this year with sounds similar to BRUIT's The Machine is Burning. I didn't think it was possible to see more from this... instrument? synthetizer? algorithm? I dont know, but its a wonderful and a truly unique sound with a unique experience in even this album.

Just wanna put out there that I think it's a bit weird to make a soundtrack based on a game... that is already based on a soundtrack, the works of Sea Power, formerly British Sea Power, the music that permeates every corner of DE. The developers have said as much that the game was crafted around the particular melancholic vibes they have in their music and used extant tracks for the game rather than creating a lot of new ones. Kind of puts yo in a really stark contrast to Sea Power which, I mean, as an amateur artist, I try to not make direct comparisons to other established acts like this, it wouldn't do much aside from make me look presumptuous of my talents
Anyway, I'm not claiming that this is a soundtrack meant to replace the original, or that it sounds the same or better than the original. It's just my way of expressing my feelings. Just like drawing, sculpting, or fanfiction. Going through this game coincided with some events in my life, and it impressed me so much that I had to express all my love, despair, hopelessness and hope the way I can. In my music.

i dont like it, they are all the same, they dont get the spirit of the game, its seems like the ost of a cthulu based adventure about disco elysium.
@Renz Bolado actually i am a musician, and i find those pieces of music really boring :), their harmony could be whatever the fucking cords you think those are, but the concept, the idea, whatever it is willed to be brought to the final listener is too similar from song to song, i can heavily feel a still immature composer that has made an experiment.

that's interesting, the similarities between the tracks is why I'm actually quite a big fan of the project. especially "hopelessness on the back of the eyelids", "bitterness settled in my throat" and "l’appel du vide"; they sound like various acts of a larger song
I do agree that it doesn't really fit in with the rest of the DE ost, this album sounds quite tense and venomous, even in its quieter moments, unlike the stuff by sea power. but like, I don't think that was even the point. I get the feeling the game was just an inspirational starting point for this project and it became its own thing
anyway, it's rare I come across a criticism of something that makes me enjoy it more
