I kayaked that rapid, ran afoul of a fellow boater who did an unplanned squirt move right in front of me, and spent the next 20 seconds seeing nothing but white... You would NEVER get me into a raft with a bunch of strangers to do this sort of thing. Too many people just freak.
I was the passenger when my boat captain got tossed in the V-wave during my first Grand trip. I grabbed an oar as we were getting we were getting close to the mountain wave and decided it was better for me to preemptive high side instead. The video from my buddy's gopro is pretty great.
Dan crushed it. Cameraman, not so much lol! Thanks for sharing!
Camera man spazzed out and missed the rest of the show!

Wow, those are the gnarliest rapids they've got here.
Depends on the flow rate as well.
Cool video, too bad for the poor cinematography
Lost the captain at 4:10 and the passenger ain't got a clue!
Or a clue what to do. Jump on the oars or at least help your oarsman back in the boat if they're hanging onto the side.
@@jfo738 That's what my passenger did when I thought I would check out the bottom of the river in mile 25-1/2 rapid..LoL

What was the level?
Always amazes me how the camera man can be so bad.
