Hi Caroline😊 I love your tutorials👌 They are very pretty😍but just a simple request⏩Can you please tell the measurements in centimeters? Cos M really having a tough time figuring out it in inches.. Thankyou😇
Good Evening Caroline, you have as measurements on the mats 2 at 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 and then the same measurements for the other 2 mats, wanted to clarify the measurements. Thank you for your time
+Cee Jay .....I figured it out, and by the way thank you so much for making this incredibly easy......cannot wait to give some to my friends and family
Love your jam box :-) I need to make it half inch taller to fit all my jars, how can I do this and still have the lil flap that folds in at the top? Tyia :-)
Cathy Hughes Hi Cathy - you would need to start with card stock that measured 8-3/4 by 11 inches. Use the same score lines for the long side but score the short side at 1-1/2, 5-3/4 and 8-1/4 inches. - This should make it 1/2 inch higher. Hope this helps.
Hi love the stamp set and box idea, I've never made jam could you give us a how too please? Also do you buy the jars if so where from or are they ones you have collected over time, thanks
applelover53 Hi - Jam making is so easy and the results are so tasty. I will try and put something together to show how. My jars are generally a mix of ones I have collected over time and some that I buy from ebay x x x
what kind of paper do you have to use in order to make a semi medium square box and how do you know which type of paper is a right fit to carry the weight of your item though?. I watch DIY videos all the time from hair-dos to cooking, culinary arts, et cetera, and very passionate to do everything from scratch. any feedback is highly appreciated. looking forward to your kind reply. Paper density is measured in grams per square meter or GSM. Higher the GSM, higher the thickness, higher the load bearing capacity. Cardstock ranges from 200 GSM (flyers) to 400 GSM (business cards). For boxes that need to carry significant weight, boards of same range of density are also available with suppliers. You can search online for suppliers of folding box boards in your area/country. 200 GSM onward is used for things like cake boxes. Medical supplies use 250 GSM. For really high loads like garments, 600 GSM folding box boards. These boards are also called Duplex boards. They typically come in white/grey, white/white, brown. Printing cost would be extra. You could always confirm with supplier. The Stamping Up cardstock ranges from 200 - 300 GSM depending on color. That's what I understand. I think black and plain white can be 250+, other colors maybe thinner or thicker. With the type of reinforcement that the bottom flaps of the box give, 250+ GSM should be able to easily support the jam jar shown here. I think it is a 6 oz jar? This link might help you: www.mr-dt.com/websiteprintablepdfs/paperandboardtypes.pdf I was looking for more information about packaging for some ideas I had. Glad to be able to share.

+Pam Young Hi Pam, the box dimensions will very much depend on the dimensions of your jar, I'm not sure if there is a standard 1/2 pint size?
+Crafty Caroline Hi yes they are, thank you for responding. My Husband was so kind as to help me figure that out and i now can use my jars, and I will use your size for others! thanks again....Pam
