I can not explain how much y’all’s videos are so very helpful as me and my family (me my wife and two kiddos) will be selling everything to buy a trawler and hit the open waters to live as well. My brother, his wife and two kiddos are doing the exact same thing with us!! Fellow Texans here as well and thank you for the fast response back on Facebook. Can’t wait to run into some fellow Texas families out there!! Be safe and most of all stay relaxed!!
The wind was eddying around the point and hitting y’all 180 degrees from the boats further out. That’s why y’all were facing the opposite direction. In-shore sailing gets real interesting because of this phenomenon.
Loved the great video! Carter was channeling his Grandpa S. for sure. We never knew there were plantations like the old abandoned one. What history. That resort looked like it has been well maintained even if it hasn't been used for awhile.
Exumas are the best! Our home away from home. Crab cay is actually a private property. Started out to be built as a resort but is yet to be finished. Love the videos.
Based on my online research it looks like someone is in the process of buying it and trying again as of Jan 2021. Thanks for watching. Enjoy the Journey!
@@WanderingKnapps Hi there! We know the people involved with Crab Cay, hopefully they will be able to get it going. It’s a private property so people usually don’t wander around. It’s closed off from the land side. It’s a beautiful spot. Great videos! Enjoy and be safe!!
Oh my did the cats really fall in the water ? And Dad my hero my teacher. And Jolie different is sometimes a good thing ! Great episode until next week be safe ! God bless !
Young man Chase. I've been in the mining and aggregate business for the last 30 years. Cement powder and limestone and water make Cement. Also known as concrete....
They got a little confused between concrete and cement. I love that fact that this adventure caused them to look it up on UA-cam and even ponder what makes up either. Thanks for watching. Enjoy the journey!
Hey guys - loving your videos. My wife and I would love to be out there trawlin' around but have to wait a few more years. We have a 14 and 16 year old and one isn't very keen on boating so we decided to allow their schooling to finish, then it's the Great Loop for us. I noticed on my screen that some of your videos look a little blown out. It seems that the brightness or the exposure is set high. Not sure if you are able to adjust that but it would help a little I think. Either that or higher contract. Anyhow - the content it great. - way more important that my observations. I am living vicariously through you guys. Keep it up and fair winds :)
Yep, we know. It took a while but we finally found the setting on the drone that was causing that. Future footage should be better. Thanks for watching. Enjoy the journey!
We were just there right before Covid next time you’re in town ask for Elvis everyone knows him tell him Tim from OKC said hi he will take care of you he is a great resource.
This could have been a Great Video if it weren't for the Techno Noise between descriptive dialog. I was about to subscribe, but who needs more noise these days!
John J., I am not a subscriber either, yet, only because i cant keep up with all the subscriptions I do have already. Yes, the music could have been more to your taste, but was just right for someone else. The drone footage was washed out so colors not as vivid as it could have been. These are learned skills and come with time and experimentation. Uma videos have evolved to the point where now one could say they are great videographers, but they didnt start out that way. Better to nurture than rip apart with criticism. I'm sure they have their hands full raising 3 boys, home schooling and keeping a boat going. What are you doing?
Joe!!!! You gotta subscribe man! It makes a huge difference for us and our UA-cam analytics. We make our money from UA-cam base on subscribers, views and watch time. The more of each we get the more we can make from UA-cam and the longer we can keep doing this!!! On another note. Yes, we figured out the setting on the drone that caused the washed out footage. Future footage should be better. Thanks for understanding that we are not professional videographers. Just a family sharing their story and trying to be real. Thanks for watching!

A lot of your footage, especially from the drone, was really washed out in this episode. Not clear and vibrant.
