Brighter colors always look cooler on a shelf. It makes figures “pop”. Also are more classic, Bronze Age . Darker colors are mostly modern takes. 90s and up . The prefer the new one because I collect from pure nostalgia. Great review

I agree totally. I prefer the more colorful comic book colors on figures. I HATE that hideous drab dark mustard faux gold color they use in place of vibrant yellow. They ruined Nova (Richard Rider) with that.
