With Sands of Time discount and performing refinement you get 4 refined per dollar. You just have to wait the time for refinement.

Yep. But for those at g10 already, they can farm enough sands to not have to buy.

We are about to enter S6 in a week. My question is how can we acquire *Sands of Time: Research 1* as it seems to be the best way to unlock T11. Do we get it from any events or exchanges or do have to buy it straight out of shop?

As far as I can tell, those need to be bought from the shop.
