If there are any new people seeing this, TO BE ABLE TO USE the TI-84 Plus CE ROM downloaded offline, you need to relaunch the CEmu app, then, instead of pressing the initial option titled "Create your own ROM" you need to select the option "Choose rom instance off computer," then select the rom you downloaded, literally takes 5 seconds even if you have a + CE in person just download it offline its easier.
I know this is kinda late but A: what's in the PDF and two, try turning on extension names and rename the end of it to .8xp instead of .pdf . Sometimes, files have the wrong datatype despite their file name.
@@CalculatorGuy2001 Don't worry, I believe TI disabled the webpage CEmu was using during the ROM setup wizard. I figured out a way, but I cannot remember what I did. Thank you!
@khuang87 Texas instruments patched this feature, making it un-usable. Only older calculators can do this now. Any calculator bought within the last 3 years won't work sadly.
Thank you so much! This helps me out TREMENDOUSLY!
You can skip from 1:20 to 4:50 by just downloading a TI-84 Plus CE ROM online. Thanks for the upload :) the video was very helpful.
Where did you download the rom file from?

It didn't work for me. The *.8xp file saves as a PDF file on my desktop. Any suggestions?

Can you play the Ti-84 version of doom on the CE with this?
Sadly no
CEmu won’t load the ROM and goes unresponsive after creating the ROM is the setup wizard. Any thoughts? Trying to load OS 5.4

Hello , thanks for vide. I need help. I hided menu and now cannot recover it. Do you know how? Thanks !
The most fail-proof way to fix this is to re-download CEMU. Otherwise, if you mess around in the menus I’m sure you will find it.
@@CalculatorGuy2001 Thank you!
Bro, I found it. Right click on screen chose EXTRAS, choose UNHIDE - voilà !
@@NarimanRzaguliyev Thanks! Had the same issue.
Dylan gang
So there's 2 emulators called CEMU, 1 for TI-84 Plus CE, and one for Wii U.
