I haven't posted these kinds of videos however there are a lot of examples of people who do. Just keep in mind, this is definitely a niche where you want to gather a following that likes you content. So consistency is key!

How do you get it to generate long stories? The word count inclusion is a good addition but it seems to cap at 1400 - 1500 words or so no matter what. Any tricks to have it continue for longer?

Hmm, that is strange. I get a “continue writing” option when it runs out of it’s max words.
However what you can do is first ask ChatGPT to give an outline for the story (for instance in chapters) and then ask it to expand those chapters!
Or for short stories ask to do the intro, middle part and ending separate. Hope this helps!
@@AI-pocalypse I kept trying to get it to do it with one prompt but it kept maxing out - with GPT-3.5 and GPT-4. However, I tried asking for "10 chapter titles" and asked it to max out writing each chapter. The story came out surprisingly good and ended up being over 6K words or 15 pages. I think if you want to go deeper, ask for chapters and then sections - then expand on every section prompt.

Yes you can definitely use AI to create these stories. However you will need to adjust the prompt a bit. And if you have the money for it I highly recommend you use ChatGPT-4. This version is much better with writing stories than ChatGPT-3!

I really love your work. One question though. I find it hard to make ChatGPT write casually, even though I explicitly state it several times. Do you have any tips to make the AI less wordy? An example of what GPT finds casual: "Hours turned into an agonizing eternity as I trudged on, my legs growing weaker with each step." If I correct it, I have to do so for each sentence because it does not seem to remember...
That is exactly the problem I encountered with the making of these kinds of "story videos". I wanted to make it seem like a "normal" person wrote the story's and not an experienced writer with a great vocabulary. I managed to solve this by really instructing ChatGPT to step into the role of someone who has little to no experience with writing or has a great vocabulary. You also have to remember ChatGPT is trained by the internet. So if you say something like use the writing style as if someone posted a story on Reddit (where mostly "normal" people post story's) ChatGPT will use this as input. Hope this helps!
Yeah, I tried to do so as well but then ChatGPT suddenly became a redneck... "Hiya folks, I'd like to share a scary story with y'all..." But after tweaking it a bit more it turned out ok. I think it's a good idea to put some effort into making ChatGPT rewrite a few times and then edit the text yourself. It might take some more effort and time, but it's probably worth it to gain more views. Thanks once again for your help and your reply!
