I love Sly Stone, but this recording was GARBAGE! It was so lame that it was barely even featured in the Soul Man (1986) movie! When Sly Stone signed with A&M records, it was hoped that the music legend would put out a great solo album, but all he did was churn out a few forgettable movie soundtrack tunes. At this stage of his career, all Sly Stone seemed to want to do was goof off in the recording studio. Instead of crafting a great song with meaningful lyrics, and showcasing the kind of superb musicianship that he was capable of, he simply wasted valuable recording studio time and ended up with crap like this!
