- here is my lead pattern test in the mossberg 940 pro turkey with the trulock .640 choke & both the B&P magnum turkey & remington premier magnum turkey loads at 40 yards
both these loads are 3 inch 2 oz payload of 6's!
mossberg sent us this gun to pattern and test to see just what it could do with all chokes & loads and give our honest feedback of just how it performs!

both of these have been proven afield & on our pattern testing so i am stoked to put them side by side with as many loads as possible to see just where the difference is - Спорт
So I used to work for Barnes Bullets. I tried to get them to do turkey ammunition. Their idea of that was to outsource to Remington and just relabel the premier magnum with a Barnes stamp... I told them Remington turkey loads were absolute garbage (which was evident from our patterns in the lab)... One of the head supervisors said "are you telling me you're going to tell Remington how to build a shotshell?"... I bit my tongue... Then left and started my own thing 😆

I believe the Indian Creek choke for your 940 is the same one that my Mossberg 500 takes. It’s a .660 constriction. I'll bet your 940 with that Indian Creek .660 would put out some phenomenal tss patterns. Both my brother's and my 500 shoot awsome tss patterns with that choke, and my brother has a 20 inch barrel on his 500 turkey model.

Holy cow!! You may have shoot the 12 gauge shell out of a 410 to get enough constriction!! 😂 Those are worse than the old Kent Diamond Shot, and I didn’t think that was possible. That Kent TSS (15, not 18) is not too bad, though.

I use Remington nitro turkey 3 1/2 in lead 6 shot 2oz I shot 1 bird last spring at 30 and last fall season I missed a tom at 45, do you think that ammo is bad (Remington nitro turkey) if so what brand do you recommend for my stoger m3500 3 1/2 in or 3 in, sorry for all the questions on ur videos man lol, ur just rly knowledgeable
Well with lead it’s hard to beat LBXR or double X that’s for sure

Those two loads are useless. Before Longbeard XR and tss, Winchester Double X High Velocity lead loads were the best turkey loads that I could ever find. Then came the old Hevi-shot loads with their not much denser than lead tungsten loads which were a step up. The Federal came out with their 15 g/cc loads, which were pretty decent. Then came Longbeard XR's which were the best lead turkey loads ever produced. Then came 18.1 g/cc tungsten turkey loads, which are by far, the best turkey loads ever produced by a longshot.
