Those statements are also not entirely honest. JAI has conducted terrorist attacks against civilian targets several times in the past, including rocket barrages on populated urban centers in government territory. They even hit an active hospital from what I can find. They are terrorists, there's not much to call that into question.
@@olegyurchenko4127 The Syrian government is disproportionately responsible for civilian deaths, but Russia isn't, and that's also ignoring an important aspect here: Government forces weren't using these active hospitals and populated suburbs as fighting positions, nor were they fighting out of uniform. JAI, ISIS, and the host of other rebel groups were. Which is a war crime. Hiding behind civilians in any way puts them at unnecessary risk, whether that's holding them as hostages, fighting out of uniform, or shooting at your enemy from vital infrastructure that can be used or homes that you know are still occupied. It forces your enemy to do heinous things in order to root you out and is one of the most evil things you can consciously do in war. When JAI hit that hospital and killed a number of civilians including children, there was no valid reason for them to do so. It wasn't occupied by enemy soldiers, it wasn't providing them aid (though even if it was that's still a war crime), there was no fighting nearby in the city that could result in an accident, etc. They simply wanted to hurt those who happened to be under government rule to weaken support for the government. This is pretty indicative of their strikes against civilian targets generally, aswell. I'm not going to defend anybody here, but attacking an enemy that is using civilians as a shield, thus causing collateral damage, and intentionally striking civilian targets to show the people that the government can't protect them are two very different things. They are not better, they are just less capable of actually causing harm to those they want to kill.

JAI has conducted terrorist attacks against civilian targets several times in the past, including rocket barrages on populated urban centers in government territory. They even hit an active hospital from what I can find. They are terrorists, there's not much to call that into question.
Anyway that's better than levelling cities to the ground from "official government" + Russia.

The line 4chan saw them as a enemy to be destroyed is cold
It's what happens when you don't see the enemy you're actively killing. I have no comment on whether or not their actions were justified (literally only know from this one video) but online it's so much easier to only see them as that. Especially if you've never seen that kind of destruction in person. Again not saying right or wrong, but doing it far away makes one less likely to feel the impact of said actions.
