He's completely self-taught. No formal training. Was abandoned on the streets of the Philippines by his mother ar age 7 his father in jail. He found comfort in music sleeping outside clubs developing his vocal skills. At 18 he discovered his ability to sing in dual voices. In 2011 he won Philippines Got Talent and his life changed. Last year he placed 4th in America's Got Talent The Champions. Watch some of those performances you will be amazed. He's lived all over the world singing in English, Italian, Spanish and Chinese.

suzanne here, been listening to Marcelito for a long time now, he is incredible, best singer in the world, NO doubt, He is or was 31 at the time he recorded this,and won Phillipines Got talent before that, he is married with kids, and his life story is truely amazing, no formal training, at all, he is self taught and hes sheer perfection. He is a Christian and very devout in his faith, an amazing young man, truely!

Marcelito sings and sounds like an angel. His talent in singing must be a gift from God.
Marcelito Pomoy is Filippino (from the Philippines). His mother left when he was young after his father went to prison. He was put in the foster system, but ran away at age 7 and has lived off the streets taking odd jobs. To pass the loneliness, he would sing, then he began to sing duets with himself. This song is the original song from Andrea Bocelli (Italian opera singer) and Celine Dion (Canadian pop singer singing in English). Marcelito sings in multiple languages, although he doesn't speak it. He is self-taught.

Marcelito was born with the ability to sing in soprano, tenor and baritone ranges and does them all beautifully! He's also singing in both English and Italian...neither one is his native language. And he's doing this while sitting down! Amazing talent!
