Calm mornings lead to calm days where nothing gets done...I have to get up and get going, get active, get my mind working so my body follows....I need coffee, and stimulation by assertively brushing my hair...scrubbing sinks, changing litter, doing dishes by hand, get up and get dressed and ready for the day...activate my senses with all manner of input...put on the shoes of readiness so I can "GO" into the world and further work my whole being by interacting with the things of the world...specifically natural noises, sights, and textures. I watch inspirational things...motivational things that get me moving, thinking, reasoning, planning, and moving toward the things I want in my longer life. I don't eat much, so my body is somewhat stressed most of the time; in a very good way to fight disease. In short...living, active, powerful...is the way I start my day.
This was wonderful!! My children are grown now. I did a toy rotation with my third child . Even though my children are grown , this video was very precious to me . Your channel is a type of ministry . God bless you ! 💕
Thank you! Just turning on classical music to clean and declutter to today completely changed the vibe and I got my dishes done 20% faster, even cleaned the windows! Thanks! Lighting a candle now to get into the neglected nooks and crannies I usually have to ignore around the schedules of 4 kids... Spring cleaning can create calm as you go, not just for a sense of "before and after".
Little Bear is definitely one of my favorites for Littles because of its calming style. I have found that Max and Ruby is a good one too. After raising my three children, I am now raising my two precious grandchildren ages three and a half and five. Your channel is my absolute favorite!
Love this video. I’m a grandma now but your soothing voice and manner and the way your ministry comes out is perfect! Women of ALL ages and stages of life should watch your videos. Thank you
Last tip is my favorite. I took a social media break for 24 hours It has now turned into three weeks. Couldn’t believe how much stress and anxiety was triggered by Facebook and Instagram.
You are so right about the smells that take you back. I'm 47yrs old and every single time I smell pinesol I think about my mom cleaning house when I was a kid. That will always stay with me ❤️ Great tips!!
Your advise was very good, sound, wise advise! As a pastors wife, I have given some of the very same advise. Clean homes make happy children and husbands... and not to mention mommy’s too! Your channel is my absolute favorite because of your sweet spirit, clean music, clean language, beautiful home and decor!!! Thank you so much for sharing!
I don’t normally like sit-down videos, but I really enjoyed this one! I love how relaxed it was and how it felt like I was sitting down with a friend. Thanks for these tips! Taking a day or time off from social media will be tough for me, but I know it will be the most beneficial for my family and I! XOXO ❤️
My baby is 17 now. ☹️ But when she was a toddler, we watched Little Bear every night to help us calm down. Sometimes I still watch it! Just to relax a little...ssshhh. Don’t tell!
My children are grown and I am a grandmother but I agree with all of your tips about toy rotation and getting off of social media and phone for a while. Kids need their parents, spouses need each other, and like you said "the weight of the world" needs to be lifted off our shoulders.
Many years ago, when I was a young mother, the best advice that I got from seasoned mothers of 5,6,7,8 children was to do 1 load of laundry a day. I promise u that it is a game changer.
I also love Peep and the Big Wide World. It's so cute and very calming. I have this one clutter spot in my home... and everyone in my family loves to dump things there. My desk! I have no clue why they love to put things on my desk, but they do. I find the most random items all the time. haha
Just love you Amy and your videos. You must have a million friends, you are so sweet and the type of person that would be everyone's best friend. Love that you love God, and your home is amazing and I just love your ideas. Thank you for what you bring to all of us and I love your calming ideas. Keep up the great videos, you are one of my favorites.
I wish I could do that. Everything that I have to do I have to do on saturdays. During the week I know when i start work but I never know when I'm getting off work. So its hard for me to have some kind of schedule during the week. Im really trying to find a different job that pays more and they have a set time for when they get off work. Bc I really do want to have my week put together bc when I don't I personally feel stressed out. Once Saturday hits thats when I have to get everything done. Then Sunday go to church hang out with friends or just relax whatever im feeling for that day. So please pray for me that I will get a good job so I'm able to have a more stable life and be more financially stable. Love you amy! I hope you and your family are doing well ❤
Great video Amy and making the beds really make a difference in which I was taught as a child to make my bed before going to School. I do my laundry usually every other day, because my Children are grown and they have their own homes now. Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend.
Hi Amy. What great advice! I'm confused why anyone would give a thumbs down ??? Can you tell me what cleaning product you were using when you were mopping your wood floor in the dining room? It looks so shiny and clean.
Absolutely agree. I like to block my time and have routines that can fit at the start or end of my day when I'm working or whenever else they fit. Rest days are so important and I often find a day where I plan to relax I end up doing lots of the little tasks that have sat and waited all week without getting done because more pressing/bigger tasks trumped them.
Wonderful grace-filled ideas to keep my home clean and relaxed. I really like the advice to make plans but leave room for possible changes. Really good and helpful information.
Very old piece of advice “A place for everything and everything in its place”. Whenever I finally decluttered to this point it made cleaning so much easier! I cannot walk through my house without picking up something and returning it to its home, throwing it away (paper towels and Kleenex), or placing it in the dirty clothes hamper. I can’t see starting a cleaning routine without everything picked up. Of course, both my husband and I are both retired and our kids have their own families and homes. I want the kitchen picked up after making a sandwich for lunch. I still need to declutter some areas but they are organized. My house is by no means perfect but I wish I had started these habits when the kids were babies.
Amen Amy. Each of these tips are so valuable, especially the one about social media. People waste so much time on it, myself included. Like you I always make my beds. Can’t stand to go by a room with an unmade bed. I have a set day when I do all my laundry, but I also do whites and work clothes and stuff like that through the week. Keep up the good work. I look forward to your videos.
I wish we were living close to each other, I think we would be great friends! I would love to sit down and have coffee with you! I really love your videos and always look forward to them! God bless you, Sweetie!
Hi there! We love tumble leaf in our house, it’s a super creative show and usually pretty calm, and we are also on a little bear kick. Thank you for all the motivation along with all the tips and tricks! 😊
I love how you use a block schedule to get things done . I’ve tried scheduling in a way thats over detailed and I get overwhelmed just writing it down 😆. I never stick to the routines I make for long unless they’re grouped broadly and flexible.
Love this video 💕I enjoyed listening to you and getting tips on how to keep my house clean. Excellent ideas. Thank you so much for sharing. Blessings 🥰
Less toys in a play area has been a staple in my home. Specifically for routine purposes since my son is autistic but it WORKS! He cleans up after himself because it is not overloaded :-) Heading into fall.... candles are so essential and lavender essential oils calms not only the environment but my son ❤️ Loved this video!
this was so perfect! I just went through a 4hr kitchen/sunroom deep clean. Sat down to relax for a bit and saw u uploaded! Such perfect timing and i feel rewarded lol
My kids love llama llama too, but they also love Calliou, Kipper, and peppa pig. Those are pretty calming as well. I love when they watch these it does make for some relaxing downtime. Curious George too! Thanks for sharing your tips!
Really really enjoyed this video! Doing UA-cam (or even just in general) it is so hard but so so important to get off of our phones. I recently did this this week and it was just a totally different vibe with my babes. 💕
I loved the idea of toy rotation. Kids get frustrated and overwhelmed with so many items and they aren’t able to focus and enjoy a toy to its fullest potential.
Hi Amy from Texas I love your channel so very much and yes today I put my phone down and did some cleaning and it felt a lot better and I to my only child is all grown but when he was a toddler he used to watch little bear and Maisy the mouse Amy you have a beautiful home and God bless you and your beautiful family😀❤
I make my bed every morning as soon as I get up. If I get nothing else accomplished that day; at least I have my bed made and that makes me happy! My kids are grown now but, when they were little, every evening I had what I called whined down time....baths around 7:00ish, then maybe a snack and light play (no rough housing) or a favorite TV show. Bedtime was around 8:00-8:30. Worked great until they got older and started evening activities! I also got in the habit of putting away toys and straightening my living room before going to bed each night; this way I could start the next day with a clean slate! Funny how the simplest things can make your entire day so much easier!
Hi friends!! Hope you enjoy today’s video! Love you guys so much! 💕💕
Hy Amy,so happy to watch a new video,we love you to and your family🙏❤
And thank you for the tips😉😊
Hi Amy l love your expression ♥️you are sincere and natural .l love your attitude very much 😘
You have a very calming presence to begin with 😊
So great! Thankyou! (Even with teenagers it’s always good to have these tips 😁)
How to have a calm morning: watch an Amy Fritz video! ❤️ Love your channel!

Thanks for sharing!! You are so sweet!
Yes a ministery for mother’s. I’m a young great grandmother, wish my grandsons’s wife would watch her channel instead of going to gym for hours
a toy rotation is such a smart idea! Especially if you want to go more minimal with toys, I'll have to try that as my little gets older.
I loved little bear growing up! The music was relaxing and grown up. Creating that atmosphere makes a big difference.
Thank you!

I'm changing my home decor to farmhouse and I'm overwhelmed! I'm 61, no kids, and I'm still overwhelmed. Thank you for your tips!
I love antiquing for farmhouse finds! Redecorating can be overwhelming though.
I’m doing the same! It’s a slow process.

Little Bear is the BEST. I can’t believe that’s still on! We watched that a lot, and my youngest is almost 21.
Great advice! I love the worship music early in the morning! But then, I can listen to worship music anytime! I love it! ❤️🙏🏻❤️
Me too! I have a hard time listening to secular music nowadays haha.
The peace I feel when watching your videos is unmatched 🧘🏼♀️

Who else kept their eye on the cup of coffee? I just knew it was gonna splash everywhere. Your home is beautiful 💛
haha! It did not! ;)
@@AmyFritz 🤣 that's good to know.

This is awesome! I'm gonna try a Media Free Monday rotation.

Hey girl! Can't wait to watch!

Great ideas Amy!! Love you too!🥰
Hi Amy from Texas I love your channel so very much and yes today I put my phone down and did some cleaning and it felt a lot better and I to my only child is all grown but when he was a toddler he used to watch little bear and Maisy the mouse Amy you have a beautiful home and God bless you and your beautiful family😀❤
My kids are 17, 13, and 11 and we loved Little Bear when they were small for the same reasons!!
Where did you get your diffuser? So cute
Just came across your channel. Your home is gorgeous!
Hi Amy, love your videos. I live in Johns Creek, where did you get the greenery that is on the plate stand on your kitchen island?
