Sarokar- Role and efficacy of NHRC

In this edition of Sarokar, we discuss the powers and limitations of National Human Rights Commission and raise important duties of the commission. The program also discusses the importance of the Commission that protects Human Rights. Recently, National Human Rights Commission approached Supreme Court informing it about the limited powers NHRS has got and demanded more powers for effective functioning.
