- Korda Carp Fishing THINKING TACKLE veterans Simon Scott and Mark Bryant have featured in several TT’s over the years both individually (with Danny Fairbrass) and together as a pairing. The most recent outing is ‘EPISODE 3 - THE COTSWOLD SYNDICATE’ that was released just a few weeks ago. The film follows them during an autumn session on a Cotswold Water Park venue, capturing some quintessentially English carp fishing and the moment Mark lands a 40lb+ english carp.
In this podcast they both join Simon Pitt in the The Thinking Tackle Podcast studio to discuss the recent release, previous episodes, fish farming, bait making and everything in between. Simon and Mark combined have an astonishing knowledge of carp and we get a glimpse of the way in which they think about/approach carp fishing.
Mr Scott is well known for his fish farming, plus his extensive knowledge of fish behaviour. While Mark is the owner of a successful bait company and runs Blue Pool, the venue used for the filming of this show. Listen as we delve into the pair’s individual fields of expertise, to understand more clearly the many different aspects of autumn carp fishing. As usual, the conversation is very diverse and at one point Simon talks about spotting carp from the bubbles created by a “little oily fart”.
Funny, Interesting and Informative… this podcast really is an information packed 90 minutes that will gives you a bit of behind the scenes information about the latest THINKING TACKLE OD episode and some food for thought about your next fishing trip. PLUS get some insightful edges to introduce into your Autumn fishing.

@@stevenkania5902 politics effects everything

Maybe stay out of politics gents? "Maybe if your governer is democratic, you'll be alright..." you do know that it's the democrat controlled states which have been the worst affected (most infected and most deaths) in America, right? Switched off at that point, as did three of my other fishing mates.
Ben Birch ..do you live in the US? I do. If the leader of the Free World had taken the virus seriously , listened to the world class health experts and not encouraged premature reopening ( listened to by Republican Governors in FL, Tx, Az etc), we would not be in the current very difficult situation. Let’s leave it there, agree it is a fishing discussion. Simon and Mark are the best!
@@timmarshall7903 I don't have to live in the US to understand statistics. Sorry, but as much as you'd like it to be "orange man bad," - 1) It is up to the individual state governers when they "open", not Trump. And 2) Back to my original point about the interviewers obvious "orange man bad" bias, if you live in a democrat state, you're not more "likely to be alright" like he falsely stated, in fact, you're likely to be a WHOLE lot worse. All facts and figures are in this NY Times interview... NY Times being a very left leaning newspaper just as a matter of fact:
www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2020/05/25/us/politics/coronavirus-red-blue-states.amp.html
Ben Birch, since you persist: This was posted 26th May. Since “reopening” (as encouraged by Trump).
Since then, and especially post 4th July, the southern states ( and Democrat Ca) are suffering a peak in infections greater than the initial one in April. Trumps unwillingness to encourage Mask wearing, has made this worse. Now FL and areas of Texas are out of ICU beds in a number of areas. Politicizing this pandemic has been the USAs problem.
That’s my lot, do check out what’s happening now in the US. coronavirus.1point3acres.com/en
I agree one word chaz whatever side your on I wanted to hear about carp fishing because I'm sure I wasn't on my own when I turned it off after that comment
@@timmarshall7903 sorry you're still reaching. Trump. Is. Not. Responsible. For. How. Individual. States. Manage. Their. States. Do you understand that, or do you think he has ultimate power over every decision made about every American? You use weasley word play "encouragement". Has he made it law to reopen? No. Has every state "reopened"? No. Trump does not have the power to force states to reopen... it is up to the governers to do so. Those who have, have done so of their own free will.
Your misunderstanding of how America works is shown again when you say, "trumps lack of encouragement for wearing masks" has caused some kind of issue... If that's even true in the first place. Has he outlawed masks? No. Has he said don't wear masks? No. Has he worn a mask himself? Yes. Your statements are at best misinformed and at worst disingenuous.
Back to the facts - The democrat states - being run by democrats, NOT Trump - have more infections and more deaths by a huge margin. You might not like that fact, it might not fit your narrative... certainly, it would seem the interviewer here wouldn't like that fact as he states a complete and utter mistruth during the opening of this interview... presumably because he has a strong "woke" bias.
