I know this video is a little older but I just got my power pole blade connected with my hds live 12 and stay connected (either off or on) will not allow me to use the c monster app it’s like I have to choose one or the other do you guys have any advice on this by chance? Ideally I’d like to control it via c monster app, the hds live unit and the multiple remotes I have.
Hey Lowrance: Do you have a video on how to connect a Standard Horizon GX2200 AIS TO A HDS 7 Carbon so I can get AIS on the charts? Ive searched but have not been able to find any.
I have two HDS live 12 units the console unit hooks up to the power poles just as you directed, when I try to hook up the bow unit it pairs but it doesn’t show any controls. Got any suggestions?
Hi, You can connect multiple units to control the Power-Poles. The instructions are on Page 194 of the manual. What is likely happening with your installation is you selected Stay Connected. Selecting this setting creates a dedicated link between the Power-Poles and 1 of the Live units. Page 196 explains this and has the following excerpt. Stay connected Select the Settings button on the Power-Pole controller to open the Power-Pole Settings dialog where you can select to stay connected to all paired Power-Pole anchors. Ú Note: Selecting to Stay connected speeds up access to the controls, but the anchors cannot be controlled from another unit when it is selected. Turn off this option to allow connection from other units.
Hi, First lets power off everything on the boat ensuring the Power-Poles are off as well. Let it sit for about one minute then power the boat back up. If that doesn't correct it try un-pairing the Power-Poles from the console unit then turn off the bluetooth in settings
Ok finally got it to work. HOWEVER, both controls show but it seems only the last one activated in my case the bow unit allows you to control the power poles. Is that how it is supposed to work? If so, do I have to go into settings each time to switch them?
HI. You should not have to go back into settings each time. Make certain that the Stay Connected selection is OFF on both units. Also make certain the Bluetooth is turned on in both units. You should be able to deploy the Power-Poles from one display and retract them from the other or any combination of deploy/retract. Understand that when you go to a different display the system has to disconnect the connection from one display and re-establish the connection on the other display. This will take a little bit of time.
dude! you are a Lowrance guy? so the system is so smart it knows port from starboard on setup? i think you missed something important? can't be that easy...
Love the new LIVE units. Great info. Thanks!
Guy Mauriello this is great you can do it from the unit after you get to the spot. Wireless is the way to go,

Would this work for the Elite T2 units ?
Now I just need power poles!
Does this use feature work on talons as well?
Hi, This feature will only work on Power-Poles.
When I tried to pair my power poles with my HDS Live it only found one of my power poles. How do I pair the other power pole??

Thanks. Stay connected is off and the bow unit shows power poles as being paired and connected but still no controls show up. Any other suggestions?
