How about we keep our opinions about what parts of the New Testament we should keep and not keep out of this . Let’s keep the whole New Testament we as men don’t preach with head coverings and our women wear head coverings when praying and prophesying.
Judge for yourself it says at the end!!! If you think they should cover, okay let your wife cover. However do not judge those who have judged for themselves otherwise, for if you judge, you too will be judged!!!
How I’m interpreting it is Paul is saying the churches of God have no customs that are man made so men can have long hair or short jt doesn’t matter and women don’t have to weak head coverings because there long hair is there covering as stated by Paul in the scripture so the only circumstance for a woman to wear a head covering while praying or prophesying is if a women may have had short hair before finding God or cut her hair on accident or has a medical problem. But God knows your heart and understands and Jesus has forgiven you before you committed any sin yet. So to sum it up men can have long hair and women don’t have to wear heading coverings
Could the supper possibly be the word as it say in other Scriptures, that the word can be food, could Paul be referring to the sanctions of those who are Rich in spirit and those who are poor in spirit church? Those who are Rich being oppressive towards those who are poor in spirit? And He encourages them to eat as one church as it says in the Scriptures "wait for one another". But as it says going forward, the Rich ones were drinking and left nothing for the poor, so I think the scripture says what it literally says there, there are no hidden meanings, because I others were Rich in spirit they wouldn't be oppressive towards other because the Holy spirit would be inside of them and they would be friendly and giving. I guess my mind is just overworked at this moment😹
We are to be sensitive to the ordinances of God. Paul didn't create the idea that women should be covered and men uncovered. That is a much older ordinance that many believe came from Jesus Himself. There is great symbolism in a woman covering her head and it goes back to the temple worship. In the temple there were two areas. Once was for the glory of man and one for the Glory of God. They were divided by a veil. Additionally this is describing a dress code for Christians. God said that if you want to speak to Me or speak For Me if you are a man you are to take off your hat. If you are a woman you are to put on a veil. Imagine yourself going to a Whitehouse Gala where the dress code it Tux and Tails for men and long gowns for women. Would you get in if you were wearing cut offs and a tee shirt? No likely. Well here is the KING of the universe telling His subjects that he wants the men to be bareheaded and the women to wear a veil. How foolish are we that we explain it away by saying we have to be acceptable to the feminists in our midst. Finally a lot of people want to make a big deal out of the translation that uses covering instead of veil as a justification for disobeying the word of God. If ever you are in doubt as to how the words should be understood look to the early church to find out. They spoke the language and they understood what was being said because it was their mother tongue. How did the churches of that time interpret that ordinance? The women wore veils and the men went bareheaded. How do we know that? Its in the Bible. Paul says that all the Churches of God follow that ordinance. Which raises the question. If you don''t do that are you a part of the Church of God? Somewhere along the line we have to put our faith into action and behave the way God wants us to behave and not as our culture demands.
NOPE Paul is talking about Meat not meat Sir, remember Moses and that veil. No man need teach you that's why this comment section examples this scripture. The body of Christ is the CHURCH so if you hunger for the Word EAT AT HOME. Pray in a closet in secret and God rewards in secret not in church and conventions etc. Obviously these put-off ways do not work or the man-made churches would be more successful. Believers do not need a physician and no man saves but it's by God's grace and mercy we are saved. He only knows the heart and blesses with his Holy Spirit so seek and you will find.
