The 10mm I mentioned in the video is out of production. Here's the replacement: IDO Super M 10MM Momentary Guitar Kill Switch. Both the switches mentioned in the video are Tesi so I suppose any Tesi momentary switch will work but really the only ones guitar players find useful are that 10mm switch and the 24mm arcade style one.
Brilliant video, new sub. I’m relatively new to working on guitars and this is excellent info. I had no idea about the second one replacing a tone pot, always assumed you had to route a new place for the switch. Thanks for sharing.
kill switches are fun and replacing a pot is nice if you just want to try it out just to see if you like it. Get that tesi 10mm switch if you want to try it, I think it's the ido super m.
@@TheTimeProphetit’s never really a “need” but can be a really cool feature if you know how to use it. I play high gain and fuzzed out blues based doom metal and think this would be great - I might even try it for bass.

I don't think I have ever needed a killswitch for my guitar LOL.

@@peopleareloudmovers I have beautiful guitars. I would really hate to put a hole in them heh heh
@ in the video he provides an option that screws into an existing tone pot so as to not damage the guitar. If that’s your concern of course.
@@peopleareloudmovers No I would rather not screw up my guitars LOL
@ that’s cool. You could have passed by the content without commenting then.
