I made such a deck exactly for this strategy. Lost in turn 4 against a combo deck. Unfortunately all my friends play tryhard-no-fun decks xD

I made a chaos deck that literally did just that. It wasn't the purpose as all the chaos effects really did make it more likely I would win, but people just didn't want to figure out how to play once 2-3 chaos inducing enchantments were on the field. IE Grip of Chaos, all targets are chosen randomly.
At first I thought it was a parody sketch but then the joke kept going. It was just as impressive as it was horrifying like some neo-eldritch horror.
Its true, the current state of MTG and WOTC's handling of it does make us feel ignored, insignificant, and terrifyingly ignorant of what exactly they'll do and how far they'll go in pursuit of that nebulous goal. (I mean, it does help a little that the motivation seems to be money, but knowing Nyarlathotep loves domination doesn't make him any less alien or terrifying.)
I got the same vibes from the "too many cooks" video from adultswim. The joke goes on and on and it turns into a nightmare... a funny nightmare but still horrifying :'D

I am endlessly amused that you can hear the Prof just slowly dying inside with each card he describes, but the deck actually seems like it was well-constructed for the theme being gone for.
It does seem well-constructed for its theme. It's just, the theme is "stax but less (or more) toxic" (instead of preventing people from playing, you simply make them not want to play)
He quickly realized how much of a prank he pulled on himself once he saw how many times he's already said 'Bloppityblorpbloop'

Love the deck! I'd try and make space for at least some of these:
- Monarch cards like Court of Bounty to help with card advantage. Wouldn't it be fun tracking both Monarch and Initiative at the same time?
- Duskwatch Recruiter, a great source of card advantage on an original werewolf. I'm sure it won't be too cunfusing tracking both it and the day/night cycle.
- MDFC lands for maximum mana base efficiency.
- One of each full-text basic land for the aesthetic.
- Cryptic Spires. Remember to circle green and blue before the game starts.
- And last but not least, Space Beleren for that immaculate space sector ability.
Isn't Space Beleren Blue/White? Sadly don't think we can play him.
Don't forget some of the voting cards from Conspiracy!

Oh, also some cards with hideaway, imprint, morph and manifest. Of course we'll also insist on using proper exile zones because we just always keep forgetting our damn triggers when the cards are tucked away where they belong.
Gotta also add the dryad arbor that looks just like a basic forest!
I'd like to see a deck built like this *actually* played; maybe on a Shuffle Up and Play episode -- just to see how miserable all the extra mechanics make the gameplay.

It has everything! Godzilla, stickers, transformers, werewolves, dungeons etc. And the professor couldn't pronounce his commander's name correctly even once! 5/7 would recommend! I really want to see this deck in action now. Maybe in a Shuffle up an Play session? Sacrificing an Arm, a leg and your dignity to drag three victims to the table is just a small price to pay!

The only thing less inspired than the mechanics of this deck is this stale retarded meme that people think is clever because they watch a guy talk.
You know what this deck needs? A card like Bösium Strip to give you maximum value for instants and sorceries. Just make sure that if any opponent needs to view your graveyard for whatever reason they don’t mess up the order.

I know people aren't going to seriously build this deck, but the Prototype creatures from BRO technically all have high mana values, so they're completely legal to run with Keruga!

Been running a deck very similar to this since Unfinity launched. The endgame is to pull it out 5 years down the line and inflict attractions and stickers on 3 unsuspecting victims who believed the monster long-dead
...you monster.
Some more suggested additions for this deck:
Experience, Energy, Ixidor (to force face-down cards), Foretell cards, Suspend (especially the ones that re-suspend themselves on resolution like Cyclical Evolution and Inspiring Refrain), Phasing, City's Blessing, Monarch, Exert, Stun counters, Shield counters, keyword counters, Poison, and more of the non standard looking Secret Lair cards (like the MSCHF Teferi's Puzzle Box)
Can never have too many things to keep track of.
Gotta love a straightforward and easy to understand deck like this!

they added this stupid new mechanic to arena where you discard a card and copy its colour then the card changes depending on the colour. yay so now i have to keep track of 5 different combinations of a single card, great mechanics guys.

JP would be a cool one but 10 for 10 they would cause so much infighting if they didn't print the Spino as stronger than Rexy or vice versa. XD Also would kill to see a Clair in heels that can somehow avoid all things with trample and high level power as a meme. I think it would enrage at least once player I know as much as the whole of Fortnite does me at it's very existence in my beloved Commander games.

i'm building this deck right away Prof, thank you for the detailed tech!
1. I swapped the Timetwister with an Echo of Eons because I'm a pleb;
2. Dungeon Descent is also out, it's horrible, I just put a Breeding Pool instead;
3. Jace doesn't do much in the deck, I put a Crytalline Giant, it's fun to keep track of the ability counters;
4. Feywild Trickster looks alright with Attractions, you get at least 1 die roll each turn (instead of Bar the Gate, which i don't have);
5. a Monarch card would be a good include, but I'm not sure which one. Azure Fleet Admiral looks like a good way to retake the monarch (and the initiative) when you lose it.
I was going over a fun thought experiment the other day similar to this. If every single Magic player ceased to exist overnight and a totally new playerbase emerged. Would they naturally find the same meta cards or would they come up with totally new stuff that we haven't thought of. Like, would they even value Birds of Paradise or just see it as an unnecessary and overprinted mana dork. And what would the new terminology even look like.

Before you started talking about the deck I thought it was just going to be a joke video about how there are so many things to keep track of! But hey, this was fantastic! (now sure it does focus on that a bit so it is highly meme'd but it is also a real deck!)

Thanks for the cool decklist ^_^ I'm really glad Un cards like stickers and attractions can't be easily ruled out of groups anymore. I sensed a lot of sarcasm in the video, but I'm not sure what it was for-other than the M30 jab. My favorite thing about Magic is combining cards from a lot of different sets and seeing how different mechanisms from across 30 years interact. I'm really glad Wizards continues innovating with their designs and look forward to more exciting stuff in the future.
This might be a hot take, but if a player had this deck, knew how everything worked, kept track of their stuff properly AND didn't take a long time for their turn I would actually love to play against it. But I realize that I am asking too much
I was thinking that. I'd love to take this deck out for a spin, at a sufficiently low-power table that it won't get instantly annihilated. Might swap in a couple of Changelings or at least Mutavault first though.

Every "bloop" is like a knife in my heart.
I had almost this exact idea for monstrosity of a deck, except mine works worse and has more stuff. For example it's More so about being forced to keep track of a ridiculous amount of stuff rather than just feel like not magic. The leader of mine is Korona because it moves around the table so everyone has to keep track of that, it has everything that you said including all the extra decks however it also has a lot of cards that do different exiles, adventures, time counters, all that stuff so that everyone has to keep track of like 16 different exile areas, and of course has backgrounds because backgrounds affect commanders that you own not commanders that you control, so as the commander moves around the table everyone has to keep track of all of the abilities constantly
Truth is, I never hated Unfinity. And I actually really like the 40k crossover. But seeing them together in the same deck, that, that gives me feelings I didn’t know I had, a unique pain I’ve never seen before

For me, it was seeing the 30th anniversary booster packs bit. The build-up to that gets progressively more and more disgusting, but that part in the video is what really made me nauseous looking at how WotC and Hasbro have turned a game I love into a complete clusterfuck in the name of profit.
I used to think Prof was exaggerating with his hate of Universes Beyond, but now I get where he's coming from.
As an adherent of Tzeench, I approve of the twisted chaos that is this deck. (The magic 30th cards are taking it a bit far though. Just proxy those with a sharpie and a foil goat token like a civilized lunatic.)

I've never played MTG or any other card battle game. I don't own any MTG paraphernalia or pokémon etc. But for some reason I'm hooked on this channel and all its content. I would like to attempt to play MTG someday. I'm definitely interested.

When it comes to a commander deck of the future, I was assuming some kind of "So, you decide your commander, the 3 card slots that are free, and then get the 96 mana rocks, mass solves, protection cards, and other kinds of Commander Staples that fit your commander's color or colors."

I made a sticker attraction deck with The Most Dangerous Gamer as commander, everybody I have played it with has loved the theme.
Every time he pronounced the name of the commander wrong I laughed even harder.
Basically it's a whole video of the Professor yelling, "You kids get off my lawn!" in deck form.

I love how Prof says "Blopityblorpbloob", but I was sad that Monarch and City's Blessing weren't included, just to add even more ridiculous tracking tokens.
Thanks Professor I added mine with monarch and blessing cards to keep them on their toes, tho I am currently hanging from the ceiling for some reason.
This is the most convoluted sketch I've ever seen. Admirable.
I have a Nethroi aristocrats deck with Umori as companion that's a weird all creature intricate machine. I recently threw in 4 creatures that open attractions to make it even more complicated. I'm glad prof clarified that the attraction deck is separate from the "starting deck" companion rules cause I was a little fuzzy on it. The attractions may not do much since I couldn't spare more cards to swap out, but I still have a chance to visit the Hall of Mirrors and turn all my creatures into zulaport cutthroats, then sac my whole board for the win.
The deck could be more powerful. You should add ways to become The Monarch. Energy also has a lot of powerful cards related to it. You'll also want some poison and infect as an alternate wincon against those lifegain decks. The new prototype cards are a great way to cast some spells on turn 2 while still allowing Keruga, same with Foretell and split cards. Teferi, Master of Time's phasing ability is really great to save a creature against removal or wrath, or can protect you against a powerful commander attack, and he can tick up on every opponents turn too! Aftermath and fuse cards also offer great value, like Mouth // Feed and Give // Take. Mosswort Bridge is a great land if you have a lot of big creatures. You could also play some new Hideaway cards like Fight Rigging. I've also always been a fan of flip cards like Sasaya, Orochi Ascendant; Kianne/Imbraham; Titania, Voice of Gaea; Nissa, Vastwood Seer; and cards with morph and manifest.
New day night is honestly way cleaner than the old cards. All or nothing is pretty clean, and tracking it is super easy, since you only check the turn player.
This is the deck I've always wanted. Although I would strongly recommend the other Oko to make confusing plansewalker copies of your configured clustered creatures! Don't forget the Licid cycle as well, judges nightmare!
just as a side note, a cool idea ive been thinking is how would a comander deck play with as many permanents in the command zone at the beginning of the game (or the battlefield), so far i think you can hold up to 4 (companion, 2 partners, background) maybe someone out there could remember any other mechanic not mutually exclusive but i think is a cool idea
