This is the song I dedicate to them for changing record labels and changing styles in song and music. This is a year jerker for sure. Even a happy person will get sad hearing this song as well as from my hands.

But I do know that the sheer amount of love and togetherness that I feel when I see VNV is like nothing else in the World. I never felt like I was a part of a group or of something until that first time I heard their music. One of the incredible things about VNV is that they give so many people, such different people as well, this common thread that ties us together. I don't feel this with other bands.
Very few songs have I listened to that you truly feel like you can feel the artists heart. This is one of them. Here's my take. There's a plane of reality that we, who have ears to hear, live in (represented by the pillars in the album cover). Most others are NPCs. We need to find each other by searching the depths of each person we come in contact with. When you come in contact with another who is on the same plane/wavelength/level it's pure love. It's the ultimate meaningful scavenger hunt. What a beautiful, and hopeful song.

To Senua's lover Dillion, to my cat who died of old age in 2013 and I still miss, to her sibling who died in 2007, to my daughter who I've seen 4.5 years ago the last time and is going to celebrate her 8th birthday in September. To ma granny, who died of old age in 2019. To so many people, loved ones. Sometimes it's really a struggle to be human and live around 80 years, seeing so many people come and go. And yet, it's a mere nothing compared to the age of the universe. "A life without loss is one without love". So true.
