Hi have you ever had problems with the post coming off?! I don't use clip ons just regular post but they are not securely glued.
Most people use e6000 but I have found after time this glue is not flexible enough for polymer clay and pieces can be easily pulled away. I am now using two part epoxy glue which is effectively a quick dry epoxy resin. I have found this to be marvellous with polymer clay. I know your question was not directed at me, but just thought I'd share as I had the same problem.
so the pasta maker makes it even with the thickness? i cannot afford now, but apparently I need so the thickness is uniform. mine looks lumpy. also what type f paint should I use to kneed into the clay, coloring it? food color? the clay I am using dried hard and requires no baking."ACTIV CLAY: strongest natural air dry clay". I was going to use it to make beads, but ater seeing your videos, I can't even sleep I have so man ideas! I have a journal next to my bed.

You can stack cardboard to form a thickness barrier which keeps your roller at a uniform height. Just place the clay between two equal stacks of cardboard and roll it out.
You can use acrylic paint, there are some metallic colors very beatiful on polymer. But there is a need to varnish or to resin to prevent the paint from beeing brushed off by the use.
I got mine at garage sales.

v pretty, but acrylic paint really shouldn't go in an oven, mica powder can be done prebake, but acrylic paint should be done after baking.
