Ramen hack recipe AND Funko Pops?
Life is Good!
So easy but so tasty. Perfect
I don't have access to yakisoba noodles at my local Asian food store, so I have actually been using ramen noodles as a replacement, for the yakisoba sauce, I use a combination of Worcestershire sauce, oyster sauce and soy sauce. I have also made dumplings using ramen noodles by blending up the cooked noodles, forming into a dough then freeze it, when frozen I cut into shape and steam. the high starch content allows the noodles to stick together so they don't fall apart while cooking.
That’s a great idea
I’ve used ramen to make Hong Kong chow mein (pan fried noodle). Main different is I make fired noodle paddy and make a sauce adding water and corn starch (corn flour) to stir fried veggies and pour over noodles.
Yay. I'm gonna show this to my friend's daughter. Perfect for college student❤ And you made me want to eat top ramen now😂
Definitely making this
Great video!!! Please do more ramen hacks, plus seaweed salad, portobello mushroom burger, and put a chef's hat on Satoshi!!!! 😊
Love instant noodle hacks!
That looked very tasty 😋
love love love yaki soba so this recipe is a godsend The brand that I buy is sapporo ichiban chow mein yaki soba.
love the recipe!

You saved my life, 3 oclock in the morning, hunger taking over me, and with one package of ramen, i made the best food ever thank you!
I like the instant ramen hacks idea. I'm looking forward to what you guys come up with.
What a great idea! I agree that making it this way is more nutritious than just eating it made the usual way. We will have to try making this with our next shio ramen packs. Thanks for the recipe!
Shinichi, I loved this video and how to make a simple meal. Sometimes we get into a rut of cooking the same thing and this gives me inspiration to try something different. I know Iam going shopping at the japanese store for some ingredients and meat. Iam happy you are so happy with the mickey. You and Satoshi make me happy too with your hard work and videos you make for your viewers. You guys have a great day!!
I love your ramen hacks!!!
Good idea 😋
Cooking japanese food is so difficult for me that I never even tried to. However, I found a channel where the word difficult doesn't even occur to me. You guys make it sooo easy that I decided to cook my first meal tomorrow after going to the supermarket. Thanks guys, love you!
I love the Ramen hack and sincerely hope you'll do more of them. Thank you.
Amazing I love yakisoba. Can't wait to try this on Friday
Nice, about to go grocery shopping
I love that this does not include eggs. I'm allergic and I'm in need of recipes that don't rely on them to doctor your ramen. So thank you guys for the great idea!
Surely worth a try,looks really good 😍😊
Oh my gosh! What a great recipe boys! I love yakisoba so much! Thank you for sharing this dish, and I love it! Who doesn’t have these ingredients on hand, at any given time! YUM! ♥️♥️
Mindy's Mom Waving hello to you, sister! :-)
Erin Uber.....Hi sister!!! Love you lots! ❤️
Mindy's Mom Love you too, sister!
Awesome hack guys! Never thought to use green pepper in my yakisoba but gonna have to try it now. Thank you for a great video!
Love all your channels keep those vids coming. xx
That looks so delicious, I love these recipes ☺️
Can't wait to try!
Yakisoba is the perfect comfort food! This was such a clever hack! Looks like I need to stock up on instant ramen now. Thanks for the recipe!
looks great, thanks for the receipie!!!!!
This looks amazing! I am definetly gonna make this!
May I recommend that if you cannot get chuka men for yakisoba you substitute Chinese lanzhou style handpulled dried noodle ( lamian). The texture and taste is similar to Ramen.
yummy! going to try this out this week!
Looks yummy!! I don't peel carrots either. Simply scrub like a potato.
The perfect hack! You take an everyday food item and elevate its flavor and nutritional value in a quick and easy way. Like Erin, I use veggies and tofu for a wonderful vegetarian meal. Thank you so much, Satoshi and Shinichi. I'm so happy you're home safely and all is well! ❤
Looks great!
Love how versatile this dish is. U can omit the meat and it becomes vegetarian 👍
Thank you for sharing this yummy & easy recipe, definitely going to try it.
I love this!!! Both the channel only for recipes and the series of ramen hacks! Both recipes looked delicious!
Very cool, I have to try this. Looks good
This is awesome- Please make more videos like this.
I definitely will make this Yummmmmy 😍
This is wonderful, Satoshi and Shinichi! Such a smart way to use ramen noodles, and it looks so delicious. I used to make yakisoba, and I used tofu as the protein, and lots of veggies. I added mushrooms, too, to give more depth of taste since I was not using meat. It was really yummy! I hope you are both doing well. Thanks for the video!
I like the recipes you do. It's nice to learn some Japanese foods. I would love to see more recipes for rice balls
Just found your channel. You guys rock!
Mmmm love it
Great video. Now here is a challenge. Try to make a simple cheap version of okonomiyaki. This includes something to substitute for the dancing fish flakes (since most people won't have access to it).
Yes ...let us see more ramen hacks😀💕💕
Yummy! I would love this dish anytime! Love your Mickey rainbow plush and Aladdin funko pops! 😊❤
Yummy, now I want to eat yakisoba! 👍
I love when you guys show your apartment! You have much cool stuff! Remind me of our house😂 we are in our forties, no kids, a cool dog! We are not going to ever grow up!!😝😝🥳🥳 good advice, thanks! Also definitely gonna try recipe!✌🏼❤️✌🏼❤️
Have you guys done a hot pot video? Whether its eating a hot pot some where else or making one would be so great! If you make it I'd love to hear about non meat options u can put into it!
Ramen Bolognese , quick spaghetti 😊
I'm always looking for new ways to make Instant Ramen taste good.
I love finding more ways to cook ramen.. I use my rice cooker with meat, egg and veggies to make ramen. 🍜
Nice nice noodles. 😋 .
Today I made this recipe for dinner and it was delicious my husband was very happy👍thank you so much
Great sharing, so yummy and nutrition. i want to try your food. I joined you.
Congratulations on being part of the small group of people who can pronounce "Worchestershire" properly. LOL
My favourite instant yakisoba is Maruchan chicken flavour. My Vietnamese-Canadian coworker teases me when I eat them and calls them "white people noodles".
Whoa that was a lot of Worchestershire sauce on one dish. Lol How does your brand compare to Lea & Perrins (the usual brand you'd find in North America)?
Haha thank you! I think the Japanese version taste less complex compared t the Western version. It’s close but not the same
@@tabieatsrecipes4886 ok then the amount you used seems more appropriate. 😅✌️
I subscribed!
Love this! When I was in college a million years ago, we called this poor student yakisoba because real buckwheat soba noodles were too expensive. We could get instant ramen for 10 cents a package on sale and add our leftover veggies. Very economical! I still love it.
Riki-M You must have been in college when I was. I remember that price! (But I didn’t know how to do anything special except add chicken). 😁
@@SnakeladyGreta Crazy how time flies, right?
Riki-M You’ve got that right!!!
HAHA How adorable. Worcestershire is pronounced Wuss'ta'sheer
In my part of England it's Woosta-shuh.
love your vids guys! 🙋🏻♂️ i vote yes for more instant ramen hacks-lately i've been upgrading Nongshim kimchi ramyun :)
🔥🔥🔥 and it's scary how good it is!
I would love a vegan Furikake recipe that will even satisfy you two's tastebuds! Maybe even a variation or two 💖💖
Also, what a helpful hack! I guess it would work with deep fried tofu (I get it frozen at the local Korean store), too?
This works great with tofu. Enjoy!
I love this series! Is that the same ramen called Demai? The character (the boy delivering ramen) looks the same, but it's been many years since I've seen it. I can get Sapporo Ichiban regularly at my grocery store here in the states.
Yes it is! It’s one of our go-to brands for instant ramen
Nice hack, Shinichi & Satoshi 😊
I could try to make it using Indomie mie goreng and make yakisoba too 👍👍👍
Maybe will also add some scramble egg inside the yakisoba too 😋😋😋
They have alot like three flavors of tonkotsu at my local market and creamy tan ran I swore they even have freeze dried yakisoba noodles if I see them name drop the brand
Yaaay! Late night recipe with my two favourite food guys ☺️☺️☺️
Am I the only one who sneezed when he sprinkled the pepper?
That is not Yaki Soba but 😋 Yummy Soba, simple Moorish looking dish the more you have the more you want. More please,Cheers 🍻
Ramen hacks are great! But what is the ramen flavor? I didn't quite understand. Love u guys!
We used Salt flavor. But really, you can use any flavor you like.
Is it common to find variations on takoyaki? Are they sometimes make with shrimp or shellfish such as clam or scallop?
Tako means octopus, for shrimp they would call it "tempura". For the other two, I assume it is hotate tempura (also referred to as yesso) for scallop and maybe "shako" tempura for clam. I checked for just adding -yaki to each word in Japanese but nothing comes up through google. Maybe this is because vegetables would be made also with them?
Tako means octopus do it must be in there. However you can make it other ingredients. It’s just that it’s no longer takoyaki
@@tabieatsrecipes4886 would it be ebiyaki?
Oishii ne🍜🍜
I'm seriously going to try to make this tomorrow. It looks amazing!
Moar ramen hacks, please!
Look so good
🍜❤❤❤
When I was contingent they called me the "Ramen Queen" because I had 1001 ways to make it😀
Never heard someone say yakisoba! My mother pronounced as yaksoba! It sounds so strange to me. We never used the I in yaki. That is what I got from her. She was from Osaka. She is no longer alive, so I can't ask her. Looks good though. Have a great day.
When pronouncing Worcestershire - try saying "Wooster Shire", it's less of a tongue twister :)
I just Love Shatoshis accent😊 This dish is plain and simple, But looks so yummy. That's something I could eat everyday. Thanks for sharing 😊👍🤙
I like to make lean beef yakisoba, I try not too eat too much pork
To feed 3 people would you triple the recipe? Just asking
Yes. Enjoy!

So depending on the noodles you change the dishes’ name? Using Yakisoba noodles in your dish means your eating a yakisoba ? I’m so confused 🤷♀️
Yakisoba means fried noodles in Japanese. So technically any noodles you fry is Yakisoba.
Could you feature proper ramen, as the instant is notoriously unhealthy! What ramen would health conscious Japanese shoppers buy?
