Wasn't Beholder in foal w/ Arrogate? I recall reading that somewhere a while ago.. I'll have to google it...anyway, those are brilliant racing genes at work (if true). I'LL BE BACK!! EDIT: Beholder in foal (gave birth) to a filly w/ CURLIN and Songbird gave birth to an Arrogate filly. That is a royal pair of fillies, genetically speaking. We'll see. If anything like their parents - L00KOUT!!
love BEHOLDER always have she's an awesome horse I've watch her since her two year old campaign she's a beast another ZENYATTA hope she retires soon go into motherhood she's done so much already I truly believe AMERICAN PHARAOH dodged a bullet I think BEHOLDER would've smoked him in the BREEDERS CUP CLASSIC no doubt in my mind if she would've been healthy for that race she would've been a triple crown winner herself with THREE BREEDERS CUP WINS IN THE JUVENILE, THE FILLY AND MARE CLASSIC AND THE CLASSIC what a SUPERHORSE she is I love her right there with ZENYATTA GIRL POWER BABY
The only thing that interests horse racing fans is to see how they are exploited, and if they are not good enough to run, they are discarded. They don't really care about the welfare of the horses
You’re an idiot. Majority of TB that don’t make it to the track are rehomed and turned into eventers, hunters, or just pleasure horses. They aren’t “discarded.” They’re found new homes. There’s a lot of after care programs too.
That’s not an English breastplate. It’s a yoke. Almost all track riders will go out with a yoke if not breezing or racing. It can be used with a running martingale attachment or as a last-ditch grab strap.
