Great collection. I have 4 cabinets of 1/18 Ferrari road cars from the first to the latest. Rolls Royce, cabinet, Bentley, Lamborghini, Mercedes, alfa Romeo, Aston martin. Various 1/8 scale, 1/12 scale. Maserati and I’m now moving into some commercial 1/18 trucks. NZG actros and magnum.

1:18 is the best scale I must say...passionately looking collections there!! 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻...my Design point only: the triangle model name tag plate could be in better display detail, it’s kind of distracting whole visual of each boxes. Seamless detail is the best way to go...nway love all ur collections! respect 👌🏻

Hi, a very nice collection of your expensive hobby. I know what I'm talking about. I'm collecting only race cars in 1/18 scale like Formula one, Indy cars, champ cars, DTM- cars, Le Mans race cars and NASCAR. There is only one question I have to ask. Don't you have any problems with dust on your cars ? I got mine in glass cases with doors and have problems with dust. Greetings and best wishes!
I do have issues with dust, but since I‘ve started storing the modelcars in those display cases you see in the video (which have removable front glass pieces) I don‘t have to clean the models as often as I had to before. I bought the vitrins on sora.de, I can only recommend them (I‘m not getting paid to say that😉)
@@Fe12TB Thank you very much for your fast answer ! I have 17 Display cases with glass doors in my hobby room. I have two windows in there but thick curtains always closed because of the sun. The sun damages the rubber tires and bleached the color of the models, as I was told by a very old collector. He showed me his collection with several cars, damaged by the sun. That problem of dust is extremely a problem for Formula one cars from minichamps. The tempos are not covered by clear paint. I dust them off if I do it too often. @@Fe12TB Yes, protect them from the sun as fast as you can do it. I've seen what sunlight does also with the rubber tires. Its very annoying and it hurts while watching cracked tires because on older models its difficult to get spare tires for them. I collect them for about 40 years and not tried to get spare tires because all are o.k. It's not so nice to keep a room always dark but it's a good help to keep the models in a good shape. And I know you spend a lot of money collecting the best looking ones. I got some expensive ones too. Some Porsche race cars from the 70 th on. A Martini Porsche 935 from kyosho I think. I took a look on collector sites. It's sold for 900 € now. Unbelievable! Greetings Helmut

I bought the cases on sora.de and the front plates are removable. So they don‘t have regular doors but the models are still protected by the front plates.
I have cmc models in dustproof enclosure to keep them looking pristine. It is painful to see so many models without the protection. I see on some occasions used and dusty models for sale on eBay and I never buy them
Yeah you‘re right, dust is the biggest enemy for modelcars:( In my display cases, they are well protected, but not a 100%... I still have to clean them sometimes, the dustproof enclosures from CMC certainly are a better option. Greetings
Hello! The brands that make these modelcars are very different. A lot of the Ferraris are made by HotWheels Elite or Bburago. Other brands in my collection are AUTOart, Minichamps, Kyosho and GT Spirit just to give some examples! Greetings

Mohamed Mazin Well there are 2 main points that come to my mind spontaneously considering the maintenance of a modelcar collection: 1) Try to keep the models as dust-free as possible. If you can display your cars in a closed glass shelf, the models should stay in great condition. If you don‘t have the possibilty to keep them in a dust-free environment, then clean your models regularly! 2) Protect the models from direct sunlight. Sunlight pales the colour of the models and can cause additional paint rash. If you respect those 2 points and generally take care of the modelcars when you touch them, you should never have a problem again. I hope this was helpful to you! Greetings
Does the red Ford GT model have wide tires? I have one and they don't, that was totally disappointing, lol. It came with a display that took a while to take it off of.
@@Fe12TB It's made by Hot Wheels. I was thinking they thought no one would try to take the car off the display it was screwed into, and notice the four tires weren't wide at all, lol. From the side it looks good, though. And yes, mine is a 1:18 scale die cast.
Beautiful collection but how do you not have the American Euro killer, the C7 Corvette ZR1. A car that can destroy more than half of all the cars in your collection
From a performance point of view, you‘re absolutely right, the C7 ZR1 destroys most other cars! However, as we‘re talking about 1:18 modelcars here, the performance of the real car doesn‘t really matter to me when I decide to add a new car to the collection. The design is way more important to me, and I prefer the looks of the C6 ZR1 over the C7! I‘ll probably add one of these to the collection one day. Anyway, thanks a lot for watching! Greetings
Point well taken, I can't disagree with you. I'm just a little biased because I own a 2019 Corvette GS and in my opinion the C7 corvette is one of the most beautiful Corvettes ever made, along with the C2 and C3, but that's just my opinion.
What I don‘t like about the C7 ZR1‘s design is its huge wing on the back... I think rear spoilers and Corvette‘s don‘t really match... However, the C7 Z06 and C7 Grandsport that you have look absolutely great! Congrats man! I would love to add one of those to the modelcar collection soon. Greetings

where did you get your display cabinets from ,and does it have doors so your models dont get dusty
I bought the cases on sora.de and the front plates are removable. So they don‘t have regular doors but the models are still protected by the front plates.

I have cmc models in dustproof enclosure to keep them looking pristine. It is painful to see so many models without the protection. I see on some occasions used and dusty models for sale on eBay and I never buy them
Yeah you‘re right, dust is the biggest enemy for modelcars:( In my display cases, they are well protected, but not a 100%... I still have to clean them sometimes, the dustproof enclosures from CMC certainly are a better option. Greetings

Apart from the Ferraris, other models are made whether by AUTOart, Minichamps, Maisto, TSM (TopSpeed-Models) or GT Spirit. I hope I could give you a satisfying answer! Greetings

I also have some collection, some models got some damage due to old like paint rash etc.
Mohamed Mazin Well there are 2 main points that come to my mind spontaneously considering the maintenance of a modelcar collection:
1) Try to keep the models as dust-free as possible. If you can display your cars in a closed glass shelf, the models should stay in great condition. If you don‘t have the possibilty to keep them in a dust-free environment, then clean your models regularly!
2) Protect the models from direct sunlight. Sunlight pales the colour of the models and can cause additional paint rash.
If you respect those 2 points and generally take care of the modelcars when you touch them, you should never have a problem again.

Does the red Ford GT model have wide tires? I have one and they don't, that was totally disappointing, lol. It came with a display that took a while to take it off of.
I think they look realistic on mine. It‘s from AUTOart diecast, what manufactures is your Ford GT made from?
@@Fe12TB It's made by Hot Wheels. I was thinking they thought no one would try to take the car off the display it was screwed into, and notice the four tires weren't wide at all, lol. From the side it looks good, though. And yes, mine is a 1:18 scale die cast.

Beautiful collection but how do you not have the American Euro killer, the C7 Corvette ZR1. A car that can destroy more than half of all the cars in your collection
From a performance point of view, you‘re absolutely right, the C7 ZR1 destroys most other cars! However, as we‘re talking about 1:18 modelcars here, the performance of the real car doesn‘t really matter to me when I decide to add a new car to the collection. The design is way more important to me, and I prefer the looks of the C6 ZR1 over the C7! I‘ll probably add one of these to the collection one day. Anyway, thanks a lot for watching! Greetings
Point well taken, I can't disagree with you. I'm just a little biased because I own a 2019 Corvette GS and in my opinion the C7 corvette is one of the most beautiful Corvettes ever made, along with the C2 and C3, but that's just my opinion.
What I don‘t like about the C7 ZR1‘s design is its huge wing on the back... I think rear spoilers and Corvette‘s don‘t really match... However, the C7 Z06 and C7 Grandsport that you have look absolutely great! Congrats man! I would love to add one of those to the modelcar collection soon. Greetings
