Hi Mandy, always a pleasure to help my fellow cookier hehehe 😋 it’s the easiest and fastest way of using my projector, so easy to adjust size and spacing between words when we need to correct it according to cookie size 😁 so glad it’s helpful! Sometimes we just need to see it in action before we realised how it worked best 😉👍💖

Hi Kathy, I was a bit pressed for time as my son requested this cookie gift pretty last minute, i didn't have time to make the black icing so using a black edible marker is the fastest and easiest way 😁His teacher didn't seem to mind and she loves it so much she said she couldn't possibly eat it because they look too pretty! LOL I really hope she changed her mind and actually eat the cookies hahaha 😃😋👍💕

Hello lovely day mercer, I will never put my decorated cookies in the fridge, it will completely ruin all your hard work of decorating the cookie. The icing will melt after you take it out of the fridge and the sweat from the condensation will rub off any food coloring you have from your icing. The dehydrator and the fridge works in a completely opposite way. Dehydrator blow air on top of your icing to dry it like a fan, it blows hot air....whereas the fridge is the complete opposite (dry cold air). Please don't ever put your cookies (after you have decorated it with icing) in the fridge, I would hate to see all your hard work ruined from doing that 😅
Good i asked! So it is the same as fondants.. i made a couple cake topper few years ago and it melted when i put the fondant in the freezer. Would a fan (air drying process i think but a bit faster lol) would do? And medium consistency dries faster than the one that you use in flooding the cookie?
Yes a fan would make the icing dry faster and another bonus when you are using a fan to dry your icing is that usually your icing dries shinier than normal when you air-dry the icing. The thicker the icing consistency then the faster it will crust/dry, so yes medium consistency will dry faster than the runnier consistency of flood icing 😊
