I really enjoy your videos,I'm an old window tinted of many many years, I've been exposed to the PPF,but as a commissioned tinted never had the time to truly understand the PPF concept. As it turns out, I was approaching it completely backwards. So thank you for sharing your techniques and the explanations there in. From the White mountains of AZ. Take care
Thanks for the kind words!!
That pink squeegee is a game changer I swear!
🔥🔥🔥 💯% agreed!!
Do you know where I can get one?? Got some on Amazon but I think they're knock offs
Amazon should have them
@@DriveProtected hey thanks for the quick reply, I'm just not sure exactly what to search for on Amazon or the vendor? There seems to be a lot of knock-offs...do u have a link to the one's you get? Love the channel dude! 🙌
Just search up “pink flexible ppf squeegee” the ones I have I got from my buddy. Not sure where he bought them.
It’s crazy how everytime I have a PPF job I always go based on your videos how I’m going to tackle the job! Very good videos keep them up!!
Haha! Thats awesome.
Great video! I wish you would have shown how to trim and wrap the edges!!
🙏🙏🙏 I always let the film dry out for a few hours before wrapping. That’s why I don’t put it in the videos.
My red flag. I think I can do it myself 😂
😂😂😂
this hood much eaasier than land cruiser.
Never done a land cruiser but I can’t imagine it being easy lol
Do you have any videos doing the hood of a 2021 ram? I tried to do mine and failed lol!
Unfortunately I don’t do many Rams where I’m at. If I ever get one in my shop, I’ll be sure to do a video on one!
@@DriveProtected That would be awesome!!
What size piece of film did you use on this? 60 or 72 inch?
60". Ive never used a 72" roll before.
@@DriveProtected what about for a Porsche maccan hood ?
Great job as usual! Made it look easy.
🙏🙏🙏
Hi bro Quick question. How do you choose the composition of shampoo with water?
1.5 cc of baby shampoo to 32 oz of distilled water.
Thanks, I appreciate bro!!
No Problem!!
Good stuff done plenty of ppf but have not done it in a long time. Going to tackle my Silverado good and wanted to see how others are doing it. You do have a great method to this hood. Thanks fornthe videos.
Thanks for watching! All the best protecting your truck!
Will you not be leaving lines behind when picking up the film after completely squeegeeing? Or over stretch the film to get certain dust particle out from under film?
Nope. Never had that problem
Great video! Thank You for sharing your technique (with great communication)!
Thanks for watching!!
That is a great tip for starting at the front on this hood.
🙏🙏🙏
So satisfying to watch.
🙏🙏🙏
You make it look to easy.
🙏🙏🙏
Hey just started doing ppf with pre cuts I noticed when I squeegee out some solution sometimes there’s some haziness under the film after wards that and some white dots everywhere! Any idea what I can be doing wrong?
Not too sure about the white dots, but the haze is common as that’s the remaining solution trapped under the film. The haze will dissipate over a hour or two.
I’m actually blow away by your response time! Your guys are the best been stressing about it for awhile now ! So the haziness will go away indoors or you need to put outside? Also for the solution it’s 3mil of Johnson’s baby shampoo to distilled water a liter? Been watching all your precut videos their amazing I wish I knew the haziness was normal I wouldn’t have removed the panel 🤣
Hahaha! Response times is what we do! That’s correct. The haze will dissipate whether it’s indoors or outdoors. Outdoors under the sun will speed it up but not necessary. I use 1.5ml J&J soap to 32oz.
@@DriveProtected much respect 💯💪🏼 and do you use less soap since you have experience? Reason I say less is because a lot of people say 3ml? Also do you have somewhere to send maybe pics or videos of what we’re doing just to get a pointer or to? Sorry for all the questions I really appreciate your help!
Hey man! Shoot me a email, eric@reflectionautomotive.ca and I’ll help you out more in-depth
