Why are you guys only looking onto Hyosun’s side? Try looking from Hyunjoo’s point of view too. If I were to be behind a person who has a tough look, even if they are very close to me, I would get scared too. I wasn’t going to comment this cuz it makes me seem biased but no, it’s right to correct other people. Hyunjoo might have exaggerated that hand grab but we’re just viewers, we didn’t experience that hand grab so we wouldn’t know how it feels. Sometimes people don’t know about the amount of strength they put into their grabs. They both did wrong in some way not just only Hyunjoo, Hyosun also did wrong too. When Hyunjoo wanted to talk and make up with Hyosun, Hyosun tried pushing her away. A sore throat can’t stop you from making up with someone you know very well. Both of them made each other look bad in some way. Hyunjoo’s fake? You guys are funny. Just because she somehow over exaggerated the gesture, she’s fake? Then isn’t Hyosun also fake for reacting dramatically about someone being scared of getting hit? You guys can bash me all you want but you know this is also true. Hyosun may be sick and stressed but wouldn’t Hyunjoo be in the same condition? Bright people may be suffering more than those who show they are suffering. I love Chahee for not being selfish, she gave up her center position for the better performance which lead the whole team to be the center group of the mv. That's what an idol should be, not only think of yourself but think about your group.
What's good about the red team is that most of them are in a group and knows that teamwork is really the most important thing and that outshinning everyone else is useless, unlike Yang Jiwon's group. The main dancer knew she was falling behind but did nothing about it and basically told her to hurry and catch up.
Crafty Uz There was something special about that red group. In the real world, all but one of them are/were in groups, and only Yeoeun is the leader of a group. In Jiwon's black group, there were four leaders of real groups.
The sad thing about here is that desperation almost leads to "selfishness" where in you are momentarily stuck thinking of how you'll survive and place first in the competition rather than overlooking the current situation. Teamwork, what? As long as they can debut, no one offers a gut to help at all.

I've been in this situation and I did say to just let the person in front of me stay in front because i thought that would be mean. So i feel hyunjoo and dont act like she is a brat because she didn't move to the front, they're cool now.

Hyunjoo is so sensitive in here, seems like she sees everything as people bullying her, even adding more saying that the pull left a handprint.
This clip just proves she can lie, manipulate and exaggerate things for her own benefit and it just proves how things could be misinterpreted and exaggerated BY HER. Hyosun was frustrated when she was telling HER side of the story and painting her as the irrational aggressive one when in reality Hyunjoo was exaggerating everything. And her frustration is just a reflection of how April members felt by her accusations.
Even her middle school friends and coming out saying she lied about being bullied back then.
Hyunjoo was exaggerating but Hyosun was being irrationally aggressive. There was plenty of room in front of Hyosun, she could have just taken a step or two forward herself and instantly solved the problem with zero drama, instead she grabs Hyunjoo's arm and tries to force a person behind her to stand in front of her. Then when Hunjoo refuses Hyosun gets in her face and says "I'm about to get mad", like what the F is that? I think the incident is mostly Hyosun's fault, she could have easily solved the issue by herself but instead she tried to force her will on someone else. Yes everything that happened after was Hyunjoo's fault but it wouldn't have gotten that far if Hyosun had just take a step forward.

They were practicing in formation, if Hyunjoo didn't start making a whole scene saying she's SO scared of getting slapped she wouldnt have gotten hyosun irritated in fist place.

I've been loving Euijin since her debut in Sonamoo and she is so kind and sweet i swear. Here, she even teaches Borim patiently while I feel sorry for another 'blackhole' on the another team; Yang Jiwon, bcs her team doesn't want to teach the beat/step slowly to her like Euijin does, bcs it slows down the team and makes the other members tired .

I was siding with Hyunjoo all this time until I dig deeper and realize that she's gaslighting and manipulative. She's self-centered, very sensitive about her needs but is insensitive about the needs of others. I can clearly see that the other girl is just having a hard time because she's ill and fatigued (well they all are fatigued but the girl is clearly ill), but Hyunjoo keep standing close to her. The girl didnt know HJ was behind her and accidentally hit her. It was an honest accident but HJ saw (and talked about it in the meeting) as intentional and said "i'm scared". Girl, if Hj was scared of accidentally being hit, she should check the situation and get solutions.The other girl cant speak well bc of sore throat but she kept repeating herself. Hj isnt listening about the suggestion to just go in front so she wont be hit. Then, the girl had no choice but to force her to go in front and grabbed her arms wc i dont think hurt that much. I don't know if I'll believe the bullying anymore. It seems like simple things get so dramatic with this kind of girl. I had friends like her before but I learned to keep a distance from them bc I'll end up as a bad person when I didn't do anything wrong.

Idk it may be due to any experience as a child but Hyunjoo has a tendency to misunderstand. There was this one time April members were doing a live while walking. Hyunjoo and another member were walking in front and it was blocking the view of 2/3 members who were walking behind. So the member in front moved a little to the left and politely asked Hyunjoo to move a bit to the right so that fans can see all of them. But Hyunjoo took offence and moved out of the frame altogether. And what's even more weird is that moments before this, Hyunjoo and this member were eating candy together.
Yeah after watching the unit and the bully allegations came out, I can’t help but to think that she might misunderstand things. She kinda exaggerated here too when she said hyosun grabbed her hand until it’s printed. It’s weird really, but April is suffering now

I won't lie because when I knew about Hyunjoo being bullied I didn't believe it. Here she acted as if Hyosun hit her on purpose when she could have just moved to the front a little more after that but then she went to complain to a third party... Here the victim is Hyosun, Hyosun was hurt by the fact that she went to another person complaining as if she did it on purpose. I am not gonna lie but when I heard about her being bullied I didn't believe it at first because of her attitude here but then she also said that Hyosun knows her story about her trainee days.

I'm not sure I can post a link here as KBS might have banned them from the comments but if you type "pannchoa HyunJoo suicide" it should be the first link. The picture only shows the top of the record but it shows the part that mentions the drvg intoxication. The date shows that happened 2 days before DSP claimed she was halting her activities because she was "sick".

First of all, the example you gave is not NEARLY identical. The fight here was two-sided. HyunJoo did not maliciously hurt HyoSun. She reacted the way she did to a situation because of her trauma, which is COMPLETELY different to her just hurting HyoSun for the sake of it. Also, there's a whole difference between getting in a fight with someone *once* and being a bully? I really hope you just expressed yourself clumsily and are NOT actually trying to create your own little version of the incident when it's obviously not what happened?
I'm going to be honest. I don't mean this aggressively but honestly, I don't like your hypocrisy. You replied to me *multiple* times under different comments in the span of minutes but are pegging me as annoying for replying to DIFFERENT people once. that is a good concept, but i think some viewers might accuse the production team of being biased. there's that evil editing thing and all. i don't think enough viewers trust the production team and to be honest, neither do i.having everybody pick their teams benefits the contestants and the show overall because we get to see the many sides of each person and helps viewers see who's desperate and hardworking, and who slacks off.

In the previous part, Hyosun told Hyunjoo: "do u want to get beat?" in a gangsta voice and grabbed her arm so hard like she was about to beat her. Hyosun was much bigger size than Hyunjoo too.
It caught Hyunjoo offguard and you can see Hyunjoo was PTSD and triggered immediately.
Now since April bully bitches true color shows, it all makes sense. Hyosun was the only one knows Hyunjoo attempted suicide cuz of the April bullied her and Hyosun hit the exactly button to trigger Hyunjoo. So Hyunjoo was upset and disappointed cuase they were friends.
No one is more manipulative than April members, they practically stole Hyunjoo's whole idol career and almost end her life, you can all stop hating on Hyunjoo.

How was she manipulative? The girl in front(not Hyosun) asked her what's wrong? Cz she saw her not dancing. She replied she was scared she might get hit. She wasn't trying to talk behind Hyosun. She just simply answered the other girl's question. Hyosun got mad (she could've just said sorry and moved a bit forward), grabbed her and pulled her forward. Hyosun acted like Hyunjoo was trying to be at the front.

If we go by the ex-DSP staff and ex-A-JAX member's statements, it seems Hyunjoo has been doing this since her trainee days.
Her brother said Somin hated her. Most likely it's because of incidents like this that she gets scolded by Somin since she is the leader. Hyunjoo misinterprets the scolding as hate for her.
If DSP were a bad company, they would have taken Hyunjoo off of the group. Instead, according to the ex-staff:
"3. somin, who was the leader at the time of debut, was pointing out hyunjoo‘s attitude of skipping practice and schedules a lot, therefore the two didnt get along well. However in order to protect hyunjoo‘s center position in april, somin decided to leave the group."
So if we can trust these statements (and I trust staff statements since they know what goes on behind the scenes), then Hyunjoo exaggerates criticisms as personal attacks on her.
Being a girl group member is one of the hardest jobs, especially since it takes a toll on your physical and mental health. If you're already mentally weak, can't take criticisms, and you're just in it for the fame without putting much effort, you will suffer and think that everybody is against you.

observation. Watching this makes me really believe that Korean entertainment, particularly the idol world, is not a place that encourages and/or tolerates weakness. And that's a problem because the pressure is put on people to strive for perfection over a short amount of time. I watch this and so many other idol auditions and it's the same theme running all over. IT's a culture. Everyone has to be perfect. No wonder so many people get depressed. Instead of helping each other and BUILDING EACH OTHER UP, people actually taunt weakness and shame it. People who are slow learners are not given enough GRACE period. Yes, I think that's what's lacking in Korean culture: GRACE.

Let me clarify myself when I said, “hun you’re not even listening to the other person” I meant like she wasn’t willing to talk to the other girl when she asked to talk it out. Yeah she was bullied, but if she had an issue with the girl, they should talk it out so that it doesn’t become a bigger issue and they can probably tell each other what one another is doing that is bothering them. If you want a reasonable evidence of Hyunjoo's behavior and not just a video clip, here is the diagnostic code of her medical report when she said she attempted suicide. The medical report is what most people believe as proof that Hyunjoo was bullied, to the point she tried to take her own life.
F190: Mental and behavioural disorders due to multiple drug use and use of psychoactive substances, acute intoxication
Since the brother did not show the full report and only shot the upper portion, we do not know the circumstances of her admission, and the substance she intoxicated herself with.
1: Why show only the part with the diagnosis?
2: What substance/s caused her intoxication?
3: What was the hospital report of her admission?
4: If Hyunjoo's camp insisted that she attempted suicide, why did the hospital use acute intoxication F190 instead of the clearer diagnostic code F191, which is 'Mental and behavioural disorders due to multiple drug use and use of psychoactive substances, harmful use'?
5: What mental and behavioral disorders did she exhibit?
6: How can this medical report be directly linked to her allegation of bullying?
Hyunjoo's brother alleges that after leaving April because of her sickness, "she got so many hate comments saying she betrayed the group for her own benefit." THIS IS SO FALSE. As a fan during that time, she received nothing but understanding and encouragement for her to get better soon, and that fans will still support her when she comes back. WHY WOULD FANS MISINTERPRET HER DEPARTURE FROM APRIL DUE TO SICKNESS AS BETRAYAL? That is a very, very twisted way of thinking, and if she did get hate comments which I bet would be less than 10% of all comments during her departure, why didn't she just ignore them and realize that a lot more fans were still supporting her?
That said, please form your own opinions fairly once you have seen and read all sides, not just from one or two video clips or the side of the accuser. Form your opinions only after watching the Here Goes April and On Airpril videos in full and without bias, so you can get the full context and see that the edited bullying clips and the clips of April being nice to her are from the same videos.
The truth will come out eventually.
i might also add that before hyunjoo joined the UNIT survival show, she didn't have haters / antis because APRIL was still relatively unknown back then. the thought of people, moreover fans, hating on a seriously ill person is just too absurd.

this is really proving to me what I already suspected (and read from staff statements): that hyunjoo’s the kind of self centered person that sees everything as an offense to herself and never tries to understand others or the situation. I have met people like this and it’s usually a personality disorder. Living and training with a person like this is hard and draining, you always end up doing something wrong in their eyes and in the eyes of others you end up becoming the bad guy, specially when the other person is like her, cute, sweet and kind looking.

I completely understand what you mean and I do know that your opinion was of course not based on her being bullied, I was simply pointing out that the reason she comes off as "oversensitive" here is that she was bullied and was probably scared she would be in a similar situation. I think she was really hurt afterwards because HyoSun knew some of what had happened to her (I'm not saying she knew EVERYTHING that had happened to her of course) so she was expecting her to be more understanding of her situation. That doesn't mean HyoSun is in the wrong, that depends on our personal appreciation of the situation of course, I am only explaining why HJ acted this way. While I do not believe that the way HJ initially reacted to the reaction was right, I also know from experience that the way we react to a situation that triggers a trauma is not something we can really control. HyunJoo definitely has to work on that of course (hopefully she's already started, both for her and people around her) but we should be understanding of her situation.

I feel so bad because of the mean Comments about Hyunjoo . They're both having a hard time that's why they're like that , Please stop judging them too quickly . I know Hyunjoo is quite sensitive but we all have our bad sides , please understand .....
Hyunjoo the drama Queen, the seeker attention. If she was really sick and uncomfortable with anyone opinions, why was she still being auditioned? If something can hurt you, make you feel stressed why were you still going deeper while you could have just leave the company? She is too over dramatic, and some are saying “because she was bullied” bitch pls that doesn’t justify her lying attitude.
