Probably came out of our silver bearing waste! - we're a photo processor and we use JBR Recovery to recover all the waste silver from spent photographic fixer.
I bought from the same company and got 6.13 pounds of silver. 100 ounces of silver is 6.25 pounds. I sent a picture of it being weighed, and they still said that they weigh and verify, but they don’t say who they verify through. I asked for the remaining silver, and they told me I can buy a UPS slip back. I found this at a great price, so sending it back does me no good. If you were selling something for a price and you were promising a product JBR for instants make sure that you weigh what you get. From my experience, they just sent out a bar and claimed to have a verified.
I don't buy index funds. I buy stocks in great companies that are going strong - even during inflation. National railways, national grocers, coffee producers, public utilities, consumer staples like sugar corporations, telecommunications, and even something as simple as dollar stores. Think about it. We need all the above to live. There will be price increases and people will still buy. All my low risk picks are also heavy dividend payers too. I stay far away from indexes because they are too tech heavy. Tech stocks are the epitome of overinflated, "projected earnings" bull**** valuations. I don't trust them. Anyway, all my stocks are in the green while the indexes are in the red. It's something to think about. I also own the AU and some AG. I bought most in 2017. I just might buy a JBR kilo. The bar looks awesome :)
Buying index funds is really silly. The only "index" portion of my retirement that I have is in BlackRock, and that is only because it's my company's default allocation.
I've never had enough discretionary funds to do any investing in the stock market. All of my savings, apart from physical currency that I keep on-hand for possible bank holidays and possible ATM shutdowns or restrictions, about 99% of my savings is quite literally held in the metals.
You are the man, veritasfiles. Glad to hear that you are so prepared. I do have some cash earmarked for the markets if we get around 20% down on the year. Speculative, yes, but I don't feel like buying a lot of $2000+ gold at the moment. All the best, BSM
Hi BigstackMcgee - I just ordered one - "A perfect combination of size and premium, these bars are minted with the highest quality silver from SilverTowne Mint!"
As far as index funds go, I would at this point go for an all-world index like the FTSE All-World or MSCI A.W. considering how expensive US stocks currently are compared to other sectors.
Kg Bars generally indicate a NON-USA refiner. These guys are British and I believe they recycle and refine products for the base and PMs. Non-Americans call them "kg bars" because the symbol for KILOgram is kg. Personally I think it is smoother to say "Kg bars" vs kilo bars Excellent info friend. Silver is a BARGIN now. Just bought 5 kg bars for $690.25 per
I retire from my current job in 6 years. I'll be 44. I plan to work at a different job until I can retire for good so I can collect two pensions. I like others do not trust stocks but want something to invest in as a backup if you will. I started stacking silver by purchasing 20 ounces of silver in individual bars. Any tips or advice?
Great to hear, falcon_ls2 - are you in the military? Congrats on your first silver purchase, it feels amazing to hold something in your hands that is intrinsically valuable. I am not offering financial advice here, but I can tell you how I did it. My first priority was eliminating debt, and starting to save money. (check out dave ramsey). Once I only had a mortgage left, I used some of my surplus money each month (after paying bills) to stack silver. Month by month I was amazed at how fast the stack grew. It has not been almost 10 years, and I love seeing how my hard work is represented in the pile of silver of gold I have. Best of luck, and God bless. BSM
@@falcon_blasphemy fantastic, congratulations! One more bit of advice: to start, aim for the lowest premium silver/gold you can find. There are reasons to break this rule, but it takes time and knowledge. All the best!
I’ve always wanted a kilo bar! Beautiful bar my friend, I appreciate you showing us
You bet J Parker Silver Stacker - I hope you add one to your stack someday!
I bought one of these bars today, my first kilo bar. It's pretty great.
Well done, Frank!
Same.

I think you are right Tools & Metals - very nice hand feel too

Thanks MétéoMan!
Nice! Do you know how to research the serial number on the bar? I went to JBR's website but couldn't find it there.

Nice pickup!

Glad to hear, Silver Cobra - I love this bar
Nice silver bar, thanks for the video...........
you bet, Silver Lover!
Nice pickup ! I just have the two kilo bars from Scottsdale that stack.
Very cool - I would love some of those too
Thank you for you video! Would you keep this stored in the paper box it came in? Or would you buy a case to keep it in?
Remember, he who dies with the largest stack, WINS!

Not a bad idea fonebook, especially now :0

Beautiful! I appreciate the video! Is it possible to list some websites addresses to buy the silver? Mahalo!
Maholo HawaiiCPS! I buy quite a bit from bullion dealers on eBay like Apmex, Liberty.coin, scottsdalesilver, and bullionexchanges. All the best! BSM

I picked up 2 of these, but curious about the 100 oz bar. No videos on youtube of it
check the weight. I just picked one up that weighed 109 oz. Not a good sign. Going to take it down to a dealer to have it evaluated.

So what did you find out about your JBR bar ?
How much did you pay for the this 1 kilo bar ???
He said in the video $310.
Nice chunk 👌🏽
Thanks Silver Saurus
Cool bar! 👍
Thanks asheland!
@@BigstackMcgee you bet! 😄👍
slide a rare earth magnet down it
Great idea MFR FPV
It's smaller than it looks
You think so? It is definitely heavier than it looks
Looks like somebody toyed with it in the back. Think you got scammed
What gives you that opinion?
