Last year for Fall and Winter I wanted plaid curtains for my kitchen, but didn't want to spend a $100. And I bought 3 small blue plaid fleece throws at Walmart for $4 each and hemmed the tops for curtains. They turned out fantastic and all I spent was $12 ! I always like to repurpose things ! My favorite is the kitchen window , with the gorgeous lace curtains, the flanking lamps glowing ... and the beautiful amber candlesticks with the sun coming through. The bar height round table and stools are such a unique part of this kitchen. It gives such a cozy vibe. Love the large copper ice bucket on the long counter wall. I , unlike you, am not into symmetry, but do like balance and weight when styling. Bt this kitchen turned out perfectly. Its totally you.
