Simone Biles withdrew from the women's all-around final at Toyko 2020. A few days later, the American gymnast competed for the first time since the team event final in artistic gymnastics at the Olympics, capturing a bronze medal in the balance beam - her seventh career Olympic medal. So many people criticising her didn’t even realise she competed a full competition before withdrawing.
I know you're trying to be supportive and I applaud her but she quit in the middle of team finals ... That's okay she has her own reason but she didn't compete a full competition

@@gym_analysis You can quit with your criticisms. Simone Biles and some of her team mates underwent a horrific experience. Their team doctor is in jail for raping Biles and others. They tried to tell the Olympic committee that this was going on, but they (Olympic officials) ignored the pleas for help. If Simone felt she couldn't continue for her own safety then we need to understand and support her decision.

She was so humble withdrawing the individual finals letting their teammates shine: Sunisa and Jade in aa, Skinner in vault, sunisa in ub, and Jade in floor, grace in teams and the great Jordan Chiles saving the silver. She had redemption but not everyone can see this 🥺
Despite what happened in Tokyo Simone still remains the GOAT I hope to see her perform soon again.
Most of the critics only jumped on the bashing bandwagon, most do not understand gymnastics at all.
From 🇧🇷, even quitting the Tokyo Finals for taking care of mental health, Simone Biles is a legend of gymnastics. She made history here in Brazil in Rio, in 2016! The Brazilian fans loved what she did!

Many Brazilian little girls get inspired on Rebeca Andrade and Flávia Saraiva and dream to be at a Olympic Games or Pan-American Games. Our girls have many potential! But, it lacks support of the Brazilian government!

Did she competed in vault, floor or bars? Or in beam only?
In Tokyo, on every apparatus but only in Quals (+VT in TF and BB in EF).
She competed all around in the qualification round, then in team final only vault, and then even though she was scheduled to do aa, vault bars, floor and beam she ended up only doing beam as she would only need to modify her dismount so she could perform her routine safely!

"The BEST of Simone Biles" ERR You meant the bad sportswoman that failed at first aperature then threw a hissy fit and refused to continue! She is the GREATEST CHOCKER of ALL TIME!
You know nothing of the sport or the situation. That was more than a bad vault. Losing spatial awareness in gymnastics is dangerous. Watch the videos. There was no hissy fit. She handled her impairment with grace and stood by coaching and encouraging her team. Her team stands by her. They were there. Let go of your ego and trust they know more than you do about the situation.
