I believe in the theory that Melanie (Crybaby) was supposed to burn down the school because in the movie, somewhere around where Crybaby finds the love letter, one of the girls suggest burning down the school so they can all escape, Fleur replies with “I don’t know guys...” to which Crybaby replies “yeah... it seems too cliché” I never noticed it was mentioned by the girls until I rewatched it just recently.

I have a real connection and this song explain’s my life, I’m a weirdo that has friends who just post about everything and I just want people to know that I try to be a good person! this song can also mean that Melanie has moved on from the lies that timothy said. the part where she says “I am not a part of anything that is hateful. love is seepin’ out my pores, i don’t hold anger anymore. even for people who hurt and betrayed me”. that could also be the reason for the fire extinguisher at the end. she is turning off the fire which could also be portrayed as anger/grudges/bad feelings.
then the part where she says “it kills, i wish the best for you and you think i ignore you too. but really i’m trying to live my own life & be present more, & so should you. it’s alright to”. this could mean that she is closing that chapter and moving on to focus on herself, while hoping that “even for people who hurt and betrayed” her can do the same for themselves.

teoria de a escola em chamas pode ser válida, se considerarmos copy cat ou outra música como adicional porque desde que a melanie anunciou o lançamento de um filme, disse que teria uma música adicional(fato). Mas tambem disse que no total, seriam 14 musicas, e se considerassemos copycat ou outra adicional, seriam 15, o que acabaria com a teoria de fogo. Não sei... (Desculpa pelo comentário longo🤦🏽♂️🤭)
