Asra's mom's dialogue "meri beti un aurton me se nhi hai jo mard badalkar khushiyan dhundhe" was wrong at so many levels. It is degrading and demoralizing women who leave abusive relationships and take a divorce. The writer should think twice before writing such a dialogue.

I couldn’t agree more. Majority dramas give good messages to viewers, but this drama was all mental health issues with everyone including the stupid judge who was giving this guy chance after chance even though she herself was a woman. I bet if it was her daughter, she wouldn’t hesitate for a second awarding the divorce. No one should have to live and put up with a mentally ill person who refuses to accept their illness and seek help.

He always put her down called her ugly, said she has no sense or style, she can't dress, she can't even look nice after going to the beauty parlor her nails are ugly. Sultan even put down her choice in lipstick colors, he said she can't even cook and is mental and was running after him. Sultan even proved her a liar when Mashal was living with them. He always said that he did Asra a favor by marrying her he had more and better good looking women after him. Asra is desperate for going back to Sultan after all he put her and her family through. It is sad how Sultan destroyed Parizay's life and she told Asra but Asra still ran back she wasted Israr's time as well and disrespected his feelings once again.

Well, look, there are two girls here who suffered from a narcissist. And these are two different girls. If Parisei left this relationship and put an end to it. Then, Asra is from that category of women who endure neglect all their lives and can themselves be hidden narcissists in their essentially pathological desire to save someone. In general, the idea of "I'll change him" is completely narcissistic.
What a very poorly written story.The writers should have given Sultan his redemption arc way back and not now when he did irreversible damage.He didn't even apologize to parizey for all the pain he caused her all these years, driving her crazy and separating her from her family
Until Parizey took revenge Sultan had a chance to say sorry but till then Sultan was Narcissistic. But when Parizey took revenge it was jaise ko taisa wala revenge.. she was equally wrong.. so now there was no place for sorry between them..
I do not know whether the character Sultan will change nor not in this serial. But I believe that people change wether they are narc or not. They change by the time. Time can vary to different depending upon the person. I believe that the time is not only the period that we can see by our physical eyes, it's beyond that.

He always said that he did Asra a favor by marrying her he had more and better good looking women after him. Asra is desperate for going back to Sultan after all he put her and her family through. It is sad how Sultan destroyed Parizay's life and she told Asra but Asra still ran back she wasted Israr's time as well and disrespected his feelings once again.

What a very poorly written story.The writers should have given Sultan his redemption arc way back and not now when he did irreversible damage.He didn't even apologize to parizey for all the pain he caused her all these years, driving her crazy and separating her from her family
