First meitei I've seen who speaks great English. Intelligence alone is not enough, one must learn to verbally communicate in English- if one wants to succeed on national and international levels, not just locally.

To those negated comments, We should be optimistic n going forward, not backward. As remembered, not a single Meitei/meetei/Manipuri except the cookie can't become a officer PA to the President of India who is the head of Executives and the Highest Constitutional post but cookies did it. The more Administrative Officers we get, the more we gets strong hand. The present crisis maybe prevented long ago if the DGP was from other community besides the cookie.

She wasn't raised in Manipur, so its very obvious that she will be weak in meiteilon language. Just like how we are weak in English and hindi, so it's not a big deal...sida thouwoiki souriba mymsini nokingese😂😂
well obvs but her accent is more like "mainland" Indian....As there is a diff accent between NE and the mainland..
And as of the manipuri lang it's her parent mistake not to let her learn the lang... The chinese for example teach their kid who is born and raise in US/ Canada..

Even if she doesn't know the language, she must be having the same love n affection for the community n the state. And let's not compare our culture with Chinese. Same goes with us, our English n Hindi is weak because we didn't use it much...same goes with her, she didn't use much meiteilon during her growing up days that's why she is weak in meiteilon

Lang is a huge problem for people like us (small Community).. i mean they're gonna be people who's watching the clip that don't even undertand at all..
i'm sure English is quite popular nowadays in manipur too and i do have Cousin/Realatives who's born and raise and all school, college done in DELHI, but still they speak Manipuri because my aunt forcefullly teach them so that we (relatives) can talk when they came back in Manipur
