I think the first horse simulator I've ever ridden was when I was two years old and made my dad crawl around the house with me on his back. But, I'd love to give one of those a try! Maybe correct my jumping form a little haha.
I last time I rode one was several years ago at a place called the Saddle Ranch Chop house in L.A. California and I got a few of my knuckles rubbed pretty dam raw on my second ride but it was totally fun! :)
I would love to ride a mechanical horse! The learning curve must be very exciting. Is there info available on the various types and who offers lessons? Thanks for your wonderful videos!!!
I tried one of those dressage models back 4 years at Hickstead- it was very interesting, and revealing. I found my mistake in my lower leg position for dressage aids, as it tells you. it's a great experience! :)
In Kentucky at the horse park they have Morgan horse simulators. I didn't really know anything about horses then and I didn't know how amazing that experience was then.
i am riding a horse but i never tried to ride a mechanical one. in my opinion alive horses are easier to study on tchem because this symulator will not for example kick or push his head down to the ground. i dont know why but i have to ride an alive creature because then i realy feel conected to horse i am riding on. i have my fav horse name- pawamer. he is so cute i love to ride on him. last time when i was cleaning something in their water on their run meadow he ran to me to say hello- i suppose that this mechanical horse will not do anything like that. horses that kick and are impolite are the best horses to study cause they show what horse can do when they feel that you are a begginer. this is amazing i love them
I followed a link here hoping to see a ride-able version of those pack robots they have been working on for the mil. The simulator is cool as well though here is to hoping some one brings a commercial version to market so we can all try it at the local arcade/ mall one day XD
if you are in Queensland SE there is one in Beachmere on the way to Bribie Island. This is the only one I am aware of in Australia, although I believe there is one coming to somewhere in Victoria
Can you make a video about canter and sitting trot because my problem with them are I tend to lose me stirrups or lose their placing and if I squeeze my knees for protection (my trainer tells to squeeze them) or put my heels down I bounce please help
Never tried a simulator, but would like to. Shall look around eastern Iowa for one. I always had a fear of being thrown off at a canter and had troubles with canters on a horse. I know it was difficult for me to gauge my seat because of a hip injury. Sounds like a simulator would be great for me to see what I need to work on and correct without the fear of being thrown by a horse or the horse going too fast in an arena. Thank you for your thoughts on the simulator. Quite helpful.
It wasn't like a real simulator, but the racing one reminded me of this arcade game I played a few times where you ride a racehorse. But since it was a game you had to move the head forward and back like it was galloping to go faster.
Majestic Wolf Girls Keeping the stirrup at the ball of your foot is a great help, although not too far up or else your foot will slip out. It really just comes with a lot of practice, and when you're riding try to think about keeping you heel down. I've been riding for seven years and I have to think about keeping my heels down every so often! Another thing- although a bit silly- my instructor told me was to walk around normally, just on the heels of your feet, to help you get used to the feeling.
I've never rode a horse before I'm wondering if when your riding a horse that's trotting do you move your bottom up and down purposely or is that what the riding makes you do ?
I took a Western Pleasure lesson just for the experience and it was too strange. I felt like I had no contact with the horse at all. Giant saddle with fenders, long split reins. Nope.
Western riding is more in the legs. We only use our reins normally for neck reining. Pretty much every western horse knows how to neck rein. We have more leg cues.
Eventing.For.Life61 we don't use our reins to stop, lol. We use our weight and legs, if the horse doesn't react then we use a little reins. Btw, there needs to be differents: I ride english and feel very uncomfortable riding western, and you ride western (I think) and will probably feel uncomfortable riding english, soooooo
:( Unfortunately I cannot post due to a very old injury, it puts far too much pressure on my ankle which causes it to buckle... I only do sit in trots. But luckily I don't do any eventing haha!.. I currently own six horses :)
Been on a racehorse simulator once and I learned from it that I will never mount a real TB in 2-point racing seat! :D Would love to try a dressage or jumping simulator.
Menwhile when I was 5 I wanted to climes right in my horse bareback no bridle and just gallop lol but this is pretty cool XD btw I don't even rember this comment lol
Artsy Poodle lol idk XD lol by a stool probably lol my horse is hard to ride bareback her back is extreamly slick (her coat) lol. Or just grab her mane or bridle and pull myself up there, my horse wouldn't really mind (as long as I'm Not pulling hard)
Anyone else annoyed at the horse eats on the screen? I mean, if you're on a mechanical horse, they don't need to add slower moving horse ears on the screen. XD So weeeird! Anyway, cool video. It'd be great fun to try one of these out, but I don't think they have any in my area or even remotely close.
unrelated have you ever fallen off a horse and instead of yelling in pain you just laughed cuz i have ive only fallen off once and it was kinda funny as i landed in a cowpat it didnt hurt i was just sitting there laughing and my friend started too and even funnier was i fell off a western saddle as i completely forgot about the horn lol and i was wondering if its happened to anyone else
ive never tried one but i have seen them they had a horse simulator at an equine college that i oddly got into after 3 attempts but on the attempt that i got accepted i could no longer afford to go as my bank account was hacked and id lost all my savings that i had kept for the tuition and boarding
Lmao... Who blames the horse for being unbalanced... It's not even supposed to have a rider on it's back in the first place. NEVER BLAME YOUR HORSE EVER
I think the first horse simulator I've ever ridden was when I was two years old and made my dad crawl around the house with me on his back.
But, I'd love to give one of those a try! Maybe correct my jumping form a little haha.

I used to do that xD!
I have one at my stables I feel so lucky!!!

Awesome Equestrian lol I was on a one of those but on hard mode never fell off
I last time I rode one was several years ago at a place called the Saddle Ranch Chop house in L.A. California and I got a few of my knuckles rubbed pretty dam raw on my second ride but it was totally fun! :)
Thanks!! This channel is amazing for me And it really helps me with caring for and riding my three horses,Al , Wiz, And Allie
I would love to ride a mechanical horse! The learning curve must be very exciting. Is there info available on the various types and who offers lessons? Thanks for your wonderful videos!!!

BabbleGabbleGamer I
I'd love to have access to one to help me get muscle memory for the canter because I have anxiety around it.
I would absolutely love to try that! Thanks for sharing your experience. I will certainly be looking into it.
I've been to this exact simulator as you, it was really fascinating!
The trot movement looked pretty realistic, but the canter looks a bit too subtle and smooth, do you agree?
i dont think we have those in my country
but id love to try it
We have this at Five Horses in Waller, TX. It's a very beneficial tool!
In Kentucky at the horse park they have Morgan horse simulators. I didn't really know anything about horses then and I didn't know how amazing that experience was then.
Morgan Grace I went on both of those in 2011!!
I wanna try the XC one.
I saw these at Equitana too. They are really amazing, the future of rider training :)
This honestly would be perfect for combination with VR and some awesome graphics! Maybe for people who are afraid of riding horses?
Apple Kawaii you shouldn't ride that if your scared of riding horses, very bad idea
Equestrian Soul May I ask why they shouldn't?
@@iclynnx Because the horse senses it, and it can be dangerous.
Riding is a dangerous sport. A bit of fear is good, but too much is not safe.
Can you tell me where I can do this it looks so fun
i am riding a horse but i never tried to ride a mechanical one. in my opinion alive horses are easier to study on tchem because this symulator will not for example kick or push his head down to the ground. i dont know why but i have to ride an alive creature because then i realy feel conected to horse i am riding on. i have my fav horse name- pawamer. he is so cute i love to ride on him. last time when i was cleaning something in their water on their run meadow he ran to me to say hello- i suppose that this mechanical horse will not do anything like that. horses that kick and are impolite are the best horses to study cause they show what horse can do when they feel that you are a begginer. this is amazing i love them
WHERE ARE YOU BUY IT?!
Am I the only equestrian that started off with actual horses?
ASMR Equii no. Why would u think that . All of us started with real horses weirdo😂
I started Witt a rael horse to
Nope,I started off with a live horse ,and a huge one
this looks interesting, thank you so much
Everybody should be learning on one of these. No more poor school horses with beginners pounding on their backs!
that makes me wonder..... do you think horses can remember a rider by little differences they do while riding?
What does CRK in CRK training mean.
Did everyone else know that.
I am a loner
Emma Bennett Im also wondering that, you're not alone
it's her name
I would to try one
I wish I had one of those!!
Where do you get a horse simulator??

How cool is That! Great job thanks for sharing.

I really love that belt 😂
Where do I get one? 😂/ where can I try on, I’m in Australia
Lilly The collie I want to now to
if you are in Queensland SE there is one in Beachmere on the way to Bribie Island. This is the only one I am aware of in Australia, although I believe there is one coming to somewhere in Victoria
Other you're making the 'horse's' canter look super smooth... or its easy... hmmm
It looks amazing and it's big progress in technology but...
I hope that it won't actually stop the riders from riding the actual horses.
Nothing could ever replace live horses
Lol never its just to help you fix your mistakes
I really wanna try one
I would love to try the jumping and dressage one
I want to ride on the mechanical horse
At our stables we have the dressage one I'm never off it 😂
Katie 10 where do you get them if you know please tell me
@@AuroraGrabowski it’s a secret
this is so cool
The simulator is probably more $ than the horse lol
Interesting video love it
Can you make a video about canter and sitting trot because my problem with them are I tend to lose me stirrups or lose their placing and if I squeeze my knees for protection (my trainer tells to squeeze them) or put my heels down I bounce please help

Oh no I’m going to have to ride something exactly like that mechanical horse it is going to see so embarrassing.
irrelevant:
Any tips on keeping heels down?

Thats how I learned how to ride horses!
White girls rides horse the best
I used to ride LuLu regularly, they then solid her to Canada 😞
Sold her
I rode a horse simulator at chuck e cheese I'm not kidding they had one
I've never rode a horse before I'm wondering if when your riding a horse that's trotting do you move your bottom up and down purposely or is that what the riding makes you do ?
Holly Anderson it is purposefully it's called posting the trot
But It's also not very forced. It's very natural once you learn to do it.
+Eventing.For.Life61 Oh ok
Holly Anderson yes it's called posting
I prefer REAL horses instead of fake ones.
Cool I want one
these are cool!
I'm not experienced in riding but I wished I could try the mechanical horses!
I don’t think it will feel the same though 😂
It is a learning tool
Why dose every English rider have their reins so tight? I don't get it.
We don't ahaha it's keeping the contact to keep the horse on the bit. Why does every western rider have their reins so loose? ;)
I took a Western Pleasure lesson just for the experience and it was too strange. I felt like I had no contact with the horse at all. Giant saddle with fenders, long split reins. Nope.

McKenna Magathan we mostly use are legs reins are for different ques and we don't even use our reins to stop soooooooo

Do you think they’d have a western version?
I wish I had access to this. I know there would be a lot o could fix even as a western rider
Bucken bronco I love them things but it didn't buck me off lol
:( Unfortunately I cannot post due to a very old injury, it puts far too much pressure on my ankle which causes it to buckle... I only do sit in trots. But luckily I don't do any eventing haha!.. I currently own six horses :)
I prefer a REAL horse. :)
Been on a racehorse simulator once and I learned from it that I will never mount a real TB in 2-point racing seat! :D
Would love to try a dressage or jumping simulator.

Where can we buy it from??
With all due respect, I kind of enjoyed watching her move like that!! ;-P
Its called the horse in front of king soopers
wo kann Mann das machen
how much does this cost? please reply
I'd rather ride a real horse than having to ride a mechanical one
Maddie Scholp I agree, but it probably help with riding position.
+Horse R it does help a lot!
I would much rather ride a real horse so agreed!
Menwhile when I was 5 I wanted to climes right in my horse bareback no bridle and just gallop lol but this is pretty cool XD btw I don't even rember this comment lol

Lavender-Rose Fox Im glad Im not the only furry who watches horse videos! ^^ Hello fellow furry. How's it going? :P
That is the creepiest looking thing. It's like if your cheap dollar store horse became bigger and more mobile.
ive never tried one but i have seen them they had a horse simulator at an equine college that i oddly got into after 3 attempts but on the attempt that i got accepted i could no longer afford to go as my bank account was hacked and id lost all my savings that i had kept for the tuition and boarding
