    Now THIS is a bullet journal system that may work for me!!!! I just LOVE how yours is so colorful and you have tipped in so much ephemera. I never considered bullet journaling because it looked so boring. But now, I may have to give it a try. Thanks so much for sharing!!!! Truly!

    Enjoyed your setup very much. I have been looking for a way to chronicle our time without scrapbooking. I like how everything is on one spot without having to fuss with a lot of supplies or separate books. I am going to try this for the rest of the month. Thanks for posting your video!

    I love your bullet journal and the idea of printing my own grid paper. I currently use Moleskine. My bullet journal seems so rigid and I really need to add artistic detail and just have fun! Thank you for the video and the inspiration.

    I am so jealous of your handwriting, especially the lovely "header font" you use for titles and quotations! I want to do a bullet journal, but I am afraid I'd just hate my own "work."

    awesome video!youve inspired me to go back to the bullet journal system. totally agree on the planner thing-sometimes i feel like changing my weekly/monthly layout but dont want to scrap the whole thing and start all over again-bullet journal all the way! :)

    Thank you - I may just give the bullet journal a try - I like how you've customized it to what you need and I'm having a hard time deciding what I want to use this year - I thought going from a day on two pages to a day on one page with a separate art journal would work, but it's just a little awkward right now.

      Thank you - I'm settling into the Bujo and finding it was harder in my head than it actually is in real life - because I do that to things ;) I'm liking it so far - but I feel like a traitor to my other inserts, LOL.

    I loved this, you gave me so much inspiration. Something funny I learned from watching your video is that we don't live very far from each other..... I think. I live about 70 mins from Northwest Ark. :) small world. Again, you handwriting is absolutely gorgeous and I will be trying all day. Lol

    Great work. I so wish when my kids were small I had kept a diary/journal etc. I enjoy keeping a journal now (in my Midoris). What paper do you use for your inserts? I like making my own as well. The last I purchased is Hammermil 24 lb and it seems to work well. Thanks for sharing so much and giving me more ideas.
    LOVE the printed text from you child. So so sweet and for sure a memory

    Love the idea of the Running Task List. I think I will also do one for future appointments. I'm so used to the monthly spread that I might merge the two. I struggle the most with how to record future events and appointments, still looking and brainstorming which method suits my needs. Any suggestions are welcomed!

    Great video....and I love your system...well how you keep working to fine something that you like. I also love how you keep the lil notes and drawing from your kids....my heart broke a lil knowing I had so many and never put them away for safe keeping...and now my baby is 12 :'(

    Can you explain how you set up your pages so that the page numbers get printed on the lower outside corner? You mentioned the multi-page layout, but it would be nice to have you demonstrate it on video. Also, what paper do you find works best with the least bleeding through?

      +arly helm I use Publisher for the layout, and just put a footer with the page number. Hope that makes sense!

      +Suzanne Kersey I do still use the bullet journal, and I've cycled through lots of different formats, which is what I love about the bujo :) I'll try to get an updated video one of these days :)

    Hello Lauren--I've watched a LOT of planner videos, and this video is one of my favorites! I'm curious, is this system still working for you, or have you transitioned to something new? I guess that's one of the things I love about the planner/journaling community--that there are so many great ideas to try, and different things work at different times in your life!     what paper do you use for your inserts that works without much bleed through? i enjoyed your video--lovely handwriting, and the idea of a new layout for each week is great--i always want to change my planner, so am starting out in the world of travelers notebooks for just that reason! thanks.

      Jane Kaye I just use basic Office Depot copy paper. It's definitely thicker than a typical journal though.

      Learnto Crochet yes, 15 pages, but that actually makes 60 pages, because one piece of paper is 4 pages once folded.

      +Lauren Blake Thanks. I think there is a miscommunication. I was asking about the starting number sheets of paper to help determine the thickness of your booklets once it was folded in half. However, I can see how you get the 60 pages Thanks again.
